I stopped into this Home store today. I've been in once before, but not for a while. This is a huge store with tons of selection for a variety of home goods . They also have seasonal decorations and outdoor decor. There are quite a few good prices, and then there are some things that I think are a little bit high priced, maybe some pictures. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming, and I had a good experience browsing all of the home goods . I will definitely keep it in mind for future purchases. read more

O town is due for more home goods options, besides Home Goods; especially with the new Living Spaces store opening on 95th soon. Here is what to expect: Customer Service: 4/10 It leaves little to be desired. They are usually short staffed and it is hard to find an employee if you have a question or need help. The store was not too crowded this visit, but usually it can be pretty busy on the weekend. There were only two checkout lanes open and the young lady was a manager and trying to rush around to help another employee while trying to check us out. It was a bit chaotic. She was cordial though. Diversity: 2/10 The few times I have visited, I had not observed a lot of diversity among the staff. This can be improved. Holiday Superstore: 8/10 They are absolutely correct on this being the "holiday superstore." They are the plug on holiday decor. I think it is a little much to have 4th of July items out already. They always have a great selection on anything holiday related. Prices: 7/10 It really depends on what you are shopping for. Though the selection of planters and outdoor accessories were plenty, we felt they were a little on the pricey side. At Home always come through in a clutch for bathroom or kitchen accessories. I did not care for their wall art selection, but they had a good amount of floor mirrors and vases. Overall: 5/10 Besides At Home, there is also Home Goods. That really is it. Sadly, you may have to travel to other places like NFM or the new Living Spaces store for a better selection, but again it depends on what you are looking for. The customer service in this store is pitiful! It is 100% obvious that not a single employee cares about guest satisfaction. The cashier couldn't explain the benefits of being a rewards member, zero personality, and almost down-right accused me of taking a cutting board mat out of a pack! I spent $600 in two days, you think I want to "steal" a single piece of plastic? The store is never clean and stuff is thrown everywhere and the paintings/canvas/wall art section is always packed full to where all the merchandise is ruined. read more

There are a few things in life that can dumbfound me or have me scratching the top of my head wondering what was the point? But this place is actually one of those places that I fell in love with when I first came and after the second visit the love affair began to sour and after years of not being here, I stopped in today and After much inspection and looking around, I'm sad to say that from this place I will have to seek a divorce. First of all I will start with my history with this place. I first came here on break from work related appointment in 2019. I came in and I was mesmerized by how big the place was, how close to a major road it was accessible and it seemed to have a lot of decor and items for your choosing for whatever style you were seeking. I vowed then and there to return till death do I shop. Later that year I had a friend who was getting married so I came seeking home Decor for the new couple. I looked forward to shopping at this place because I was so dazzled by them with my first experience. But this time I had to actually look at the prices and I had to look at the actual place in itself. I took my eyes off of the items that were plentiful and looked at how they were shelved and how they were displayed. I began looking at the price tags that hung from these beautiful images that you just were mesmerized by and some of the prices were just a bit steep. That didn't deter me at the time I went ahead and purchased items for the wedding mainly due to the fact that I was on a time crunch. But I was so disheartened by the prices and the disarray that the store was in that I kind of convinced myself that maybe this relationship wasn't going to work so I hadn't returned to this place since that day. The pandemic hit shortly after that and I have not been able to come to this place due to Covid, so today I decided to come back after a year and a half of being away just to see if the pandemic by chance had improved things. First of all the store was not really packed it was pretty much the same type of traffic that it was before the pandemic which says a lot and not in a good way. I will start off with the good things the first thing I noticed was that the store was much more cleaner than it was the last time. Isles were easier to get through this time, and more items were on the shelves. but the prices were far worse than the last time I had been there. As a matter of fact the prices were just absolutely ridiculous. Many of the items that they had were stuff that you could go to your local Walmart and find for way cheaper. You could probably even go to a thrift store and find that same item for 60 to 70% less than what you would pay at this store. I walked in hoping to purchase items for my patio for this summer, but instead walked out with a nine dollar lampshade that I caught on the clearance rack. In every relationship trust needs to be built, and a meeting of the minds and satisfaction is a must. In this relationship between me and at home, the contract has been irretrievably broken and therefore I must file for divorce. I am taking my broken heart to another place that will embrace my needs and my wants they will care enough to give me exactly what I need in the relationship so that I can give them exactly what they need. read more

This place is craaaaaazy huge and has literally anything you'd need (except mattresses and groceries, but seriously that's it) to outfit any room/house/dorm/apartment/yacht/cell, etc. Imagine a store the size of IKEA's top floor with all those goodies at the cash register section of Bed Bath + Beyond (magnetic notepads, felt circles to keep chairs from scratching floors, cooking knives, water mark removing wipes, coasters, batteries, silk flower cleaner, chip clips,...) plus the kitschy 'art' of Hobby Lobby, (there are some nice gallery wrapped prints, but most of the gargantuan selection is of the cheesy, Pinterest meme variety- 'it's beer o'clock', 'it's a good day to have a good day,' etc.,) add in generous heapings of Walmart and Target (sheets, towels, trash cans, hangers, hampers, candles, pillows, garden statuary, patio chairs, lamp bases & shades, sachets, shower curtains, mirrors, and on and on and on) add in a dash of TJMaxx (air freshener in every form, picture frames, rugs, pet beds,) and voila! You've got At Home! The checkout section is confusing (Which lane is this sign directing me to? Where do I stand?) and the clerk who rang up my purchase was at a zero on the happy-to-be-there scale, so that was disappointing. I saw very few workers walking around the store. The few I did didn't greet me. While I love the one-stop inexpensive home shopping that can be accomplished here, it's not a warm, inviting store like so many wonderful independent design stores here in KC- Coveted Home, J'Adore, Golden + Pine, to name just 3. Those will remain my favorite and most often visited, but At Home is definitely worth a visit, and I'm positive you'll find some treasures within its massive size. read more

Fun place! We found some cool things for a home we sold and things for the one we bought. The best way I know how to describe it is that it's like a Marshall's Homegood but bigger. You'll find a lot of similar things. Part of me felt like they may be under the same mother company but more likely that their suppliers are the same. Prices are pretty reasonable and some things are very unique to this store only. I love their painting selections. Really cool things and some huge items for big walls if you need them. A couple times we found it challenging to get help with a particular item. It's likely because we were there T busier times. read more

At Home is a very large store with a lot of variety. The quality of their products is good and the price is about average on most of their stuff. They seem to run high on the cost of their decorative pillows and overpriced on their furniture. The furniture is nice and unique but most of it is beat up or damaged and they ask more than the average price for it. I do not recommend paying the prices they have listed. They have a great outdoor section and selection and their Christmas shop is awesome. There is a lot see but the organization of the store could be improved. Although I've been here many times, I've only bought from here once. With competitors in the area, I would suggest they lower their prices or maintain the quality of their items in a better fashion. read more

At Home is the equivalent of those crane claw machines you see at Dave & Busters. You spend a lot of money to get really cheaply made crap.

Wow what a disaster! You can't find anything in this store, it is so unorganized. There are things falling all over the isles, not only can you not get your cart through half of them, it's unsafe! I have been to other At Home stores in other states and none are even close to this mess. I keep going thinking it will get better but it gets worse. They desperately need to get organized and hire more people to keep it that way. I'm surprised their corporate office is OK with this. Such a disappointment. Gives it a feeling that they don't care about their store or their products, and it doesn't match the prices, which are high for the lack of care. I'll stick with home goods. read more

This is regarding the wall hangings of pics and paintings. The whole area was a mess, could not get the pictures apart to see anything. Others were having trouble too and commented. Such a mess. Other areas have been this way too, like rugs. Last time I was in there, the line to check out had 20 people in it with 1 cashier. I think the manager needs some retraining. kf read more

The store felt super disorganized and cheap, and the prices weren't great. Artwork and wall hangings are piled and stacked amongst each other, and they're charging $100+ for some of the pieces? At least act like they're worth that if you're going to charge 3-4x more than Target or Homegoods. I did purchase a few small items for fair prices but drove out of my way to visit the store and don't feel the need to do so again. Would rather go to another home store with less selection that's more organized/better priced. read more

This is a very large warehouse store with a huge selection of things for your home: outdoor furniture and accessories, indoor furniture, pillows, baskets, wall decor and so much more. My problem with this store is that it has a warehouse feel with prices that are not. Although things are not hugely expensive, there didn't seem to be anything on sale except for random clearance merchandise. The store was rather messy and didn't reflect the look of a store charging full price for its products. read more

This store has so much in it!!! It's awesome if you need home stuff....duh...But the employee's really don't bother you, like at all, so much so if you need help you'll probably have to seek them out. Well I've only been here a couple times but my experience this last time was awesome! I bought some patio furniture and I'm indecisive as heck, so I seriously had almost all of the cushion selection out. Anyways the young man helping me or the young man I "made" help me was super nice, he eventually ended up loading and unloading my truck about 4 times. After driving by every day on my way to work, I finally visited for the first time. I was looking for throw pillows and was ready to head to Home Goods, Bed Bath and Beyond, maybe even Hobby Lobby or Michaels. At the last minute, I remembered this place, so figured I would give it a try. The exterior is not very appealing, but the place is huge, which means lots of options! A huge selection, multiple aisles, of pillows to choose from - it was great! They were also having a BOGO 1/2 off sale, and I ended up getting 2 pillows for $12 total and another clearance pillow for $5. The selection in the store kind of reminded me of the decor selection of Hobby Lobby but much bigger. I would come back! Just need to remember that it's there. read more

I was walking and an employee was in the way so I hopped on the cart. he proceeded to tell me to be careful. I agreed. He then called me a retard multiple times. He denied it when all the people I was with heard it. We proceeded to confront him and he turned red and told us he didn't mean it in that way and proceeded to go to the back of the store and into the back. The manager was right there and did. This place is huge. It probably has any home decor item you would ever want. Some stuff is low quality but there's also better quality alternatives depending on your price range. They have a good seasonal selection too, especially for Christmas. Plan on spending at least 1-2 hours here on your first visit!!! read more

I bought a piece of framed wall art. The back was damaged so I pointed this out to cashier, who gave me a discount but told me I could not return the item, under NO circumstances. Hung it up that night, The frame was so cheaply constructed that the screws holding the hanging attachments fell right out of the frame, sending the picture crashing down! I've been here twice. Both times I've wondered if I missed a sign saying "Everything 50% off" because it just looks like a cheap discount store. Shelves are jumbled and disorganized and it makes the merchandise just plain unappealing. Lots of shelves with just huge nasty piles of stuff, everything looks like a "Clearance" aisle. These types of stores sell lots of home organization stuff. Prices are pretty much the same as Bed Bath & Beyond, which at least always has a coupon around. This place is HUGE! you have to either wander the aisles and just have fun or know exactly what you are looking for and just look for that. I went in looking for patio chairpads. sooo many to choose from. And of course the ones I wanted only had 1 pad in the store. The staff that helped me look for more were very polite and helpful. Bobby really went above and beyond and I appreciated that. I didnt get the name of the lady who called the KCMO store to hold the remaining chairpad for me. Great place and super helpful people. You have to experience this 'wholesale Warehouse' store... for lack of a better discription. And yes, some aisles have an avalanche of items in them or items put in the wrong place but that is from the customers moving things around and pulling them off the shelf to look at. If they would put them back it would be super. All in all a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon read more
