This gem of a store has been so clutch over the years for picking up gifts. Some of the people in my life are, um, a little hard to shop for, but when I come in here, I always come away with something great. It's all so well-curated; some gifts are classy, some funny, and many are versatile. It beats the socks off of going into a big box store in a million ways. Being in a charming stretch of a walkable area adds to its appeal, and the staff is always friendly. They also have Pickwick candles which are some of the best in town. These soy candles will last multiple seasons and almost all of them smell amazing. Cheers to this shop, they're doing it right and have saved my bacon every December since they've opened.

So I went in the store and it is a good size, the aisles are close together and are packed with a variety of HomeGoods items. The store also carries hygiene, paper, products, makeup, snacks, some gardening goods, craft supplies, and some kids toys. I did not purchase anything, but the people working the cash register seemed nice to the people that were. As far as the value goes, I don't think it is a good value in comparison to Dollar Tree. This store has more to offer, but if you really look at the pricing for what you're getting, it's not worth it. The pricing starts at $2.25 and goes all the way up to $18. Anything that doesn't have a price on it is supposed to be $2.25 and then if it has the Yen price, and you have to refer back to a little chart that converts it to American dollars. I hate the way they're pricing is because it's confusing and you're always having to look for the little signs to find out and compare. Also, the items that are over $2.25 many of them are not worth it. For example, they have kitchen bowls for cereal and you can get a similar bowl for $1.50 at the dollar tree whereas their theirs are $2.25 as their cheapest and they have more expensive ones which are not worth it. I was looking forward to having this as a regular store for inexpensive items, but even their greeting cards are $1.50 and at the dollar tree they have some that are two for a dollar.

A Most Disappointing "Experience" indeed. One Stop was highly recommended to us by a friend, and we…read morehad no reason to doubt them for a moment. We were thrilled to have blinds and shutters in our lovely new Lenexa home, and our sales representative seemed to be competent, even if a touch weary and condescending. We agreed to double shutters in the front facing room, motorized shades in the high windows in the kitchen, and high to low manual shades in the bedrooms. Of course, our rep guaranteed that he would personally oversee all work for the entire installation. Our order arrived ahead of scedule, but this would be the last positive note in our dealings with the company. The very first issue was that our motorized blinds were NOT included. Our "hands on" rep was nowhere to be found, and at no point was our shipment inspected before being sent out. Neither was one of our costly shutters damaged. We'd been pumped up on Hunter Douglas being the premium manufacturer used by OSD, but after this was pointed out, we were informed that "lately there had been some slip ups" with the products. Of course, we were told that this "had never happened before" (and yet it just did). Oh, and of course our rep showed up and admitted NOTHING, but apologized for misrepresenting himself, as he never really meant to supervise our job personally. The owner sent my wife a lovely email offering to "look into" our situation, etc, and promised to complete the installation as per our agreement, which we found to be the lowest bar any reputable business could achieve. Finally, our purchase of the motorized units had been agreed upon on a larger cell size, but the rep signed onto it without bothering to explain that they were not offered in the larger size. The care we were given was shoddy at best, careless at worse. This business continues to enjoy high ratings, but should anyone ask, we are unable to offer anything close to a recommendation. This was a dismal fail.

There is often a special sale on one category or another. The owner, Deb, is an artist, a delight to visit with and so helpful. Each visit is a new experience bcz Deb rearranges as she receives new merchandise. My sisters and I have each purchased clothes and jewelry, and have received glowing comments from friends about our purchases. Deb always ties a ribbon and often a flower to your bag. The shop is in Mission, part of a cute strip of stores on Johnson Drive. I wish the reviewer who intended to blast a store in Zona Rosa, but misidentified it as this one would correct her mistake.

Everything else fine. Bought a fridge on a Friday. Was told could be delivered on Saturday. I set up delivery for Monday. But I called Saturday morning as I was now free from work and was told it would be delivered Saturday.. it never came. Ok cool that's fine, was originally scheduled for Monday anyways. Monday rolls around and at about 3pm I called them and was told their delivery guy never showed up and that it would be delivered. Then at about 6 pm I got a call saying they were an hour away from our house. Then it got worse. First thing the guy does it hit on my wife when she answers the door. Then as he's getting stuff ready he's constantly arguing with his partner making this whole situation even more awkward for my wife as she's home alone while I'm at work... they stop arguing for a bit and start getting the old fridge out of the basement.. scraping and chipping away at my walls as they do.. .**mind you I just put the old fridge in the basement with a buddy a few weeks prior, right before it stoped working (go figure right ) and not once hit my walls**.. the new fridge was brought and wasn't assembled (maybe they don't do that but NFM does) so I'll be putting handles on and all that. My wife was very uncomfortable with them in the house as they hit on her and constantly argued with each other. I finally got my fridge but at what cost? Scratched up walls, chipped ceilings, scratched up hand rails and a pile up trash in my garage. 10/10 would not recommend simply for the people they hire to delivery the product. Only time will tell how good the fridge is. Will be using NFM for the rest of my life. UPDATE: I have tried contacting them, like they asked on this review and have heard nothing back.
