I am strange and unusual ink iw but I always get excited around this time of the year as I see the Summer stuff phasing our and the Halloween/Fall stuff slowly creeping in. Also love At Home because it is close to home and has some pretty good deals on stuff we need here and there for the house. Whether it be outdoor seating and new cushions or a shower curtain, or even bedding for the dorm, At Home has it. Prices are decent for most items (some stuff I feel you can get elsewhere). If you are a member you get deals via email and/or text every so often (I get an extra 15% off around my birthday month) which is awesome because it is near Fall). I went to this store on my visit to San Diego to see my daughter. She needed a rug and this place mentioned they have a perk that offers 15 percent discount after sign in. My daughter signed in for the perk and I purchased the rug. After that I noticed there was no discount given. I brought that to their attention and they said the perk is for next purchase. I told them next purchase after signing for the perk, is next time. They did not grant the discount. I find this dishonest and to lure customers to buy with discount in mind and then not giving it. Returning the item and buying it again would have not worked either as they said we get an email in 3-5 days and get info on the Perk. Again no mention of it before the purchase and applying the perk which by the way asks for address and birthday. They they have absolutely no customer service in this store. I waited 10 minutes in one aisle, looking for something and asked two different times to send me a customer service rep and nobody ever showed up. There were six customers walking around the store.. two people checking people out and no employees walking around the store at all. I will never go back. The good is they offer a 15% off your total first purchase. You just need to sign up for their text messages and the coupons is sent to you. The bad is you don't get the 15% off. The cashiers screen shows the discount but your total does not. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I was home. I called the store. I need to go there to get my $20.00 discount. Not worth the gas. The store is huge with everything you would need to stock your house in one central store. That's a big plus. They even have some basic furniture in the back that is reasonably priced. They had a very big selection of bedding and comforters. It was impressive. The kitchen item selections were kind of small. A bigger selection of brand name kitchen items would be better. The largest pan they offered was 11 inches. That's fairly small. A larger pan would help. We found everything we needed and were able to check out reasonably fast. I haven't had any customer service issues. I extremely love that they are pet friendly, and always bring my little dog with me. This store is great! There are so many choices and a lot of their items are color coordinated which makes shopping a lot easier. For instance there's a section blue throw pillows, and a section for green throw pillows. And for the most part they keep everything clean and very organized... at least that's been my observation each time I've gone. The prices are fair. You can find some deals but they also have items that are on par price wise with department stores. They have the largest selection of home decor out of any store in familiar with locally. I did take one star off because some of the items can look like they're after-market or things that are discontinued. That's not a bad thing but if you're looking for very modern or pricey/luxury looking items you may not find it here. But it serves its purpose for the average person which I consider myself. Oh my GOODNESS! I am absolutely in love with this store!! I was nearby and was curious what replaced the old Sears Outlet. When I saw what it was I decided to go inside to check it out. First impression: it's HUGE! Literally the size of Costco and they have everything you'd expect at a Home Goods store and then some, but it's organized....and I mean OR-GA-NIIIIIIZED! Someone with OCD (like myself) would be in heaven. They also have holiday decoration sections as well. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations are available for purchase. Bedroom, living room and patio furniture is also sold at this store. Anything and everything you could think of for your home is available here. Customer service was great as well. Alice was helping me at the check out and explain that I could apply for their credit card but that they also have a rewards program which is what I ultimately signed up for. She was sweet and added the cherry on top to my first experience at At Home. I'm so excited for this store and plan on coming back soon. Overall, I really enjoy this place! It's got the reasonable prices of TJmaxx and Marshalls for many items that are either on sale or super clearance, but also has the variety and inventory that TJmaxx/Homegoods lack. It's got more style and options than Walmart or Target for home goods. These are the type of things you can buy from this place: chic bathroom ring dishes/soap dishes, fashionable rugs, but you could easily find a colander or a lodge cast iron for a reasonable price! Worth checking out and browsing, you're bound to find something you like! The only suggestion that I have and caution for customers is that the store might be more popular than what they're staffed to be able to help. I waited in line for about 15 minutes to check out my items and couldn't find much help in the aisles. There's just too much stuff here.. Prices: Some items are cheaper than expected. Some items are more expensive than expected. Great prices on clearance items. I still haven't figured out the pricing game at 'At Home'. Is it like Hobby Lobby where you have to wait for sales to get great prices, or are these their best prices and maybe a 10% coupon arrives in your email from time to time.. There was a time not long ago, I was excited to discover an At Home fairly close to me. It was mainly because I would always see it on Facebook being touted as Halloween headquarters. If this was 2020, I'd almost believe you. It really did have a ton of pretty cool things. 2021? Not so much. It never seemed to ever be fully stocked with anything. Signs here and there teased more was coming, and it never did. Near mid October it was relegated to one aisle to make room for Santa .. I tried putting that ugly encounter behind me to go and look at their Christmas stuff, because they made all these aisles and ditched halloween early for it. So I go last week to see... Next to nothing. Pretty much all the Christmas aisles are near empty with signs once again promising more is to come. Oh no, At Home fool me once... I won't be back anytime soon. Besides the holidays this place is basically an oversized Ross without the clothes. I'll wait until next year with actual evidence their shelves are stocked. The store is always clean whenever I go and they have fabulous decorations and decorative items, that is not what this review is about. After my in store experience with Jean the store manager at the store. I had to report to Yelp. I received one of the worse customer service from Jean. She was called over by the cashier because the item that was advertised as being on sale was ringing up at full price. And this was not 5 or 10% different this was a 50% reduction in price. So yes I wanted the manager to confirm the price. The manager "Jean" comes over already defensive and seemed irritated. Barely acknowledges us and starts barking responses as to why the sale price doesn't apply to the item we wanted to buy. All of a sudden they put out the "it's only on sale in certain colors" Ok fine show me what colors are on sale, after about 20 minutes they came to tell me they don't have the color that is on sale and I should try the Temecula store. I highly recommend customer service training or a refresher, no customer should be treated this way. read more

If you are looking to decorate your place, check out At Home. They just opened in Carmel Mountain (July 2019). It is located where the Sears used to be. I have never seen SOOO many pillows/cushions in one place. They have rows and rows of it in every color. They said they are putting them on sale now as they are clearing them out for the summer. Since they just recently opened, they are still in the process of filling up with inventory. They have a HUGE selection of floor mats. If you need decor/painting/picture for your walls, they have a a ton of selection. It is almost like a cross of Home Depot/Lowe's and Homegoods as the size of the store is a warehouse. I feel At Home specializes and has the QUANTITY of decor but I prefer the QUALITY of goods at places like Homegoods personally. read more

Paradise for Home decorators if you value quantity over quality. I usually go here to find cheap pots for my plants but that have a little bit of more style than the usual ones from Home depot. I really like their big rugea, you can make your home very boho-chic for a very good price with these amazing big rugs. Those 2 things are my favorite items in this mega huge bazaar. I purchased several Christmas stockings from this store at regular prices. I ended up with having too many so I went to the store to return 2 unused and with tags attached stockings today. The refund I received back was clearance price on the item which was at 50% of what I paid for. What a rip off! The cashier said that it's on the receipt that after Christmas items returned will be refunded at the current sale price. Who reads fine prints on a receipt? They should have mentioned that at the time of purchase or pointed that important info on the receipt. Instead they were too occupied getting me to sign up for the rewards account. This place is GREAT for browsing around, especially if you're bored at night with nothing to do, or need a place to take your kiddos when they can't go to the park during winter nights. lol. This store is like the Walmart for home decor- superstore size!! With prices above the average Home Goods store but well below any Pier One, it's easy to ring up quite a bill here with everything so tempting - especially seasonal goodies. I especially love how well organized the store is, making it very easy for customers to find products. And items are very neatly organized on shelves. With the wide selections, it's not a hit-or-miss kinda store... there's something here for everyone. The only reason I docked off a star is that during my most recent visit, I found the bath section had very slim choices. As someone looking for make a one-stop shop to pick up the basic necessities after settling into a new home, I wasn't too thrilled to pick up a few items here and then have to run to the nearest Bed Bath & Beyond to find other decor for our bathrooms. I mentioned you might lose something. That would be money you were certainly not planning on spending. Yes, about that family member. Make sure you stick together or have your cell phones charged. Without it, it's difficult to find anyone. Why? You're looking at everything. Sure some of the shelves are heavily stocked with repetitive items in varied sizes and colors. It's also a large store! Need to get your steps in? Definitely do it here! The staff is dressed in grey and seem to blend into the color of the floor. (I wonder if management is wearing that lovely blue). The Check Out It might be harder to handle when everyone starts shopping here. I'm sure a focused mindset will allow more success.
