I discovered At Home a few years ago and since I've become quite a fan. In general I do think I like the Wixom store better but the Ypsi location is closer to me so I have to roll with it. Like the Wixom location this store is HUGE and the sheer volume of what they offer is mind boggling. Seasonal decor, kitchenware, serving ware, organizing bins, storage, faux plants....SO MUCH! There are several aisles, like a dedicated section of the store, just for wall decor/art. And there's a huge rug section organized by the primary color scheme. AND LAMPS!! So many lamps!! An aisle of curtain rods! I could go on. But basically anything you could want that would be for your home you can find here. I love coming here in the summer to find garden decor like lawn stakes, planters, and decor like solar lawn gnomes and the like. They also have a great selection of umbrellas and cushions for outdoor furniture. And if you need the furniture frames, they have that too. From sectional couches to single seats, lounge chairs and more. Prices are pretty good, too. It's not the most high end stuff but things I've bought for my yard are going into year 3 now and have held up pretty darn well during the various swings of Michigan weather. All that said, there's just something about this location that doesn't feel as polished as the other ones I've been do. It's always empty, not just of employees on the floor but also shoppers. I often feel like I'm the only one there. Some of the stock is a bit lighter than other stores, (though it still dwarfs other big box stores when it comes to home goods), etc. But overall, it's still my go to when I need containers to organize my pantry, need a new throw rug, or just want to refresh the decor in the house. read more

I wanted to buy a chair to replace my current furniture. I decided to go here to do this. I was going to do online but seeing and feeling is better. Upon arrival there was a sign that states you must wear a mask which was great. One thing about this store is that help and finding an associate can be tough. However I did know where I was going. I picked out a chair and table. The checkout was fairly quick because there were hardly any people in line. That was a plus because there was only one person in checkout. I have learned when you can't find what you want for your home unless you want to spend an arm and a leg, you can find it HERE. You will have to look for a while at times, but you will find something that will work and maybe a few other things you need. Warning: this place does suck time and quick trips in and out is impossible. Partly because the size, but also the lack of sales staff on the floor. I took 1star off for that. You will find isles of objects, lamps alone had 3 and pillows 4. You will never mistake this place for one of those stylist showrooms of even a bargain department store. Just shelves and shelves of items. I found a corner shelf last year and now lamps and an area rug on this trip. I will be back for some more area rugs since I loved their selection. Seasonal items are out a few months before you need them and after the season, the left overs are even more of a bargain. With more and more stores limiting items to latest trend, if your tastes are different you are normally out of luck. Here you will find stuff in such a wide range of styles. You just have to get home yourself but you can judge the quality. Online sites do sent items to your home, but you will have no idea of the quality. That problem is growing lately. Lots to see and but here. Bright beautiful colors shapes and smells. You can find just about anything you'd like for your home. This trip I was in search of an inexpensive 5x7 rug for my foyer and a basic bucket for cleaning. Since foyer is high traffic area and this is 3rd rug in a series of 3 I've replaced, I was intent on finding one that didn't break the budget. I ultimately found a beautiful simple yet colorful 5 x 7 rug for foyer for about $59 plus tax, etc. The cashier was friendly. Checkout was smooth. read more

My girlfriend told us how much she loved this store so we made the 40 minute drive and were excited to spend our Saturday afternoon here. What an extreme disappointment! I cant speak of the quality of their items as I did not make a purchase, but that would be because everything is so overpriced. There are so many home goods / home decor stores with competitive prices that I cannot understand why anyone would even shop here. They do have a large selection of anything you may be looking for so if you are in the need of something particular, they probably have it, you will just have to pull a little extra from your wallet. I did find the exact entertainment center I had just purchased a month prior at another store here for $100 higher. It made me realize that this place is not for me. read more

Huge home decor warehouse store. Furniture, holiday decorations, pillows, rugs, organizers, and all manner of random knick-knacks. Feels like a warehouse version of Bed Bath and Beyond, with cheaper stuff. Prices are unbelievably low, but it appears most of it's made in China. They've only been open two weeks, so it's pretty quiet. Hope it's the start of a new life for that shopping center... read more

Love this store! But not necessarily this location, the store is organized and you have to take a deep breathe the first time you walk in.....the beauty of all the home goods and all things decoration. Any interior or exterior needs, you name it it's there. Plus plenty of small gifts for friends, birthdays, secret Santa's and more. The only issue I have with the store is the clearance section, not many good items and they are thrown together in different areas. The store brags about the "red like discounted items" but they aren't anywhere to be found except I the clearance section and it's not much to brag about. I am always in here for an hour or so when I come, so many option and decisions! read more

Let me preface this with a little bit about who I am and my home decor struggles. I'm a guy who recently bought a house and I don't have anyone living here with any sort of sense for picking out home decor. It has been a struggle and my sister and girlfriend have been helping where they can. I dislike shopping for things for my house because I can never find what I'm looking for and WAY too many things at these stores are always too feminine for my bachelor pad. The places online that do have things that I'm interested in are always way too expensive. Although this place isn't the solution to all of my home decor issues, it is by far the best place I have ever been. It's an absolutely GIGANTIC store (pretty sure the building used to be a Kmart from the way it looked) and they have a wider selection than anywhere else I've been. I will definitely be returning to this location, as well as others depending on where I'm at to take a look and see if there's anything I like. read more

Great store! Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Lots of variety for all sorts of styles. Fun options for gifting. Great seasonal and holiday items and displays. I lived right around the corner from here when I was in college and loved that it had an amazing selection, friendly staff, and good hours. I do wish that it was a little bit more budget friendly for those of us in college or in early stages of our careers. (The prices weren't awful, they were probably average overall but for the area it was a little much for me personally at that time.) However they usually have sales going on and they markdown items that are damaged or have been used as displays so those are good to check out. read more

We look forward the holiday decor they carry but the prices just keep creeping up on lower quality items. As other reviews have mentioned, they have many items to chose from for decor/kitchenware/etc but the higher prices & lower quality of the items is the off put. The front staff was very rude. Wow! Where do I begin! I love this store. If you are looking for beautiful, affordable decor, this is the place! They have everything from pillows to lamps to furniture to greenery, the most beautiful faux plants and flowers around! They have gorgeous mirrors, frames, housewares and bedding . They have a beautiful assortment of area rugs, with great prices, less than Hobby Lobby and home goods. I bought a beautiful area rug for only 25.00, the quality was outstanding too . I saw the same rug at Home goods for triple the price, I love Home Goods but this place has such great prices . They also get beautiful holiday decor. And they have the best sales on seasonal decor. This store is ok. Now, its like walking into a TJ-maxx, but instead it is full of home goods. BUT, the quality is so horrible. I wouldn't be caught dead buying 99% of the tables here. They do have fun little nic-nacs that are always a great time to look around, but even those...are a bit over priced (some of them). This store somewhat confuses me because what I think is going to be cheap as hell, like a table that I see that is maybe worth $15, is priced for $75. INSANE. I would much rather take myself to a Home Goods, considering it is all going to be the same price. Their vase and lamp sections though are something you can't replace and the prices are very wonderful. read more

Second time here. We will be avoiding this place moving forward. First time we found a few deals... but I wasn't overly impressed. Second time was a nightmare. Every item we had rang up a different price than expected. The items grabbed from the 50% area were still full priced. The cashier said we were in the wrong. What an awful store!!! We went here in search of a lamp shade (or two) and left thinking that it'd be easy never to return to this place. The stuff seems very cheap and knick-knacky (I know, I know, that's not a word but too bad). The lamp shade selection was pretty decent, but nothing that would work for us b/c we needed something big. The parking is a-plenty because there is no one in this store (okay, we went during the day, during the week). We saw only one employee too, and he did smile at us but certainly didn't offer to help. I really figured that we'd see some good baskets in here too (to use as a trash can, say), but that didn't happen. This place is way too cheap-feeling and cheap-looking for me, and I'd agree w/ Paige H. that it looks like TJ Maxx, which is another store I pretty much refuse to enter. I love this store even more now that I've seen what a shetshow the one in Dearborn is. Everything is always organized, the wall decor fills like 10+ aisles, and everything is relatively cheap. I don't know about furniture because I haven't needed any, but as far as textiles, this is your place. I actually bought a rug at Home Depot for $80 and they had the very same one here for $60. They actually have a ton of $60 8x10 rugs, which is an incredible price, and there is always some kind of clearance going on on a few of the more expensive ones. If you're into holiday decorating, you'll probably never leave here. I've been in for Halloween and Christmas and both were insane. There are more than a dozen holiday aisles - whatever holiday it is. There is nothing you want that you won't find here. There are hardly any lines, but it is kind of hard to find staff if you want help on the floor because it's gigantic and there are like 5 employees visible throughout the entire hour you'll be in here (I think my record is two hours....). read more

This corporation didn't put a lot of thought into location on this one. It's in a less then safe area in a dingy, warehouse feeling space. It's extremely cold in the store so bundle up. The employees are rude and pretty much nonexistent, if you need help in the store you won't find it. The items are mostly things you can find at hobby lobby but for half the price. The only possible thing I found slightly appealing were the area rugs. They look pretty but be prepared to dig through mounds of chaos to see any of them. No order, no samples, just stacked heavy rugs. I won't be back, I'd rather drive to the very out of my way hobby lobby in Canton then give this place my business again. read more

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the hammock stand I just purchased from this store. First, the hammock stand I initially purchased did not come with the correct parts, after returning it, I purchased another one which seemed to have the correct pieces. Upon returning home and trying to assemble it, I realized the pieces did not fit according to the directions, and when trying to assemble according to the directions and use the hammock, it FELL APART and I was injured by one of the pieces hitting me in the face. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THEIR CHEAPLY ASSEMBLED (read: made in China) products again. read more

After my disastrous experience with the Dearborn location , which has lost my business, I came back to this location. The manager and lead customer service associate took care of my situation without a question. They told me the issues I had at Dearborn were not their policies. I now understand why my requests were rejected. The Ypsilanti location will have my loyalty now. When I shop I will only use their location. Thanks guys. You did the right thing! read more
