I wanted to give a review for Stacey who works at this location. I was in line with a lot of items. She was dealing with a rude customer for 5 minutes. She was professional when the man was running his mouth. She handled it well and with composure. I was impressed because that is rare these days. I will be coming back. In order to really enjoy Ollie's, you have to understand that you're at a big retail garage sale basically. Now this particular location has a massive selection with a wide variety. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Very disappointed in the service at this location. Danielle took my cart from me at the checkout and told me you can't take this cart because that is our truck cart and you shouldn't of had it in the first place. Did not offer to get me another cart my cashier did not offer to get me another cart so I was stuck carrying all of my bags out to my car in my hands. I even mentioned to my cashier that she should have gotten me another cart when she took my cart away from me. How was I to know it belonged as a truck cart? I'm hesitant to even write this, but If I don't its going to bug the crap out of me. I notice how staff at the check out mainly middle aged black females, are super courteous to white customers, by saying have a nice day. Anyone of color they can't even say thank you. It j7st happened to me. I had a return lady didn't say a word. Then I made a purchase some time later and the other female was too busy running her mouth about being hungry and what she wad going to cook for dinner. What the heck??! Again no THANK YOU or have a nice day. It's extremely sad that I even had to mention this, but I sincerely hope the manager or cooperate sees this. We must do better!!! read more

Pro tip #1: Come often as inventory changes often. Pro tip #2: Restrooms are to the left as you walk in, near the front. Pro tip#3: Be sure to check all expiration/"best by" dates on food/edible products. Pro tip #4: They have an overwhelming supply of K-cup coffee pods (literally thousands of boxes) but the coffee maker selection is beyond pathetic. :-( Pro tip #5: They always have lots of pots, pans, and baking sheets in stock. I enjoyed browsing your store, lots of good deals. However, checking out was a different story. I can only give one star to the cashier- Tisha. She was very rude to me. I had some heavy bags of bird seed, (all the same) so I turned the top one over so she could scan the bar code 4 times, but the scanner cord was too short, so I started to lift it on to her desk, but she in a very rude tone of voice said, "Bring it to me so I can scan it ". It would have been so much more pleasant if she had said, "Could you please bring it closer to me?" Tisha, don't forget that we customers are paying your salary. read more

The one other person of color in the store was very rude she didn't even answer my question. I am a person of color. The other ladies didn't speak either but did at least take the time to answer two questions. Very rude place. Covid Update: Went in this morning hoping to find a few things I needed without dealing with a larger big box store. The first thing I noticed: masks on all the customers, as per the sign on the door. The cashier remained maskless. I asked her politely if she would put her mask on (none seen nearby anywhere). This place is a gem. About every third time I shop here, I hit the jackpot. Check out the dry goods and spices, there's usually a good find in that area. Occasionally have sales on name brand vitamins. Good place to shop for an affordable rug. They send out coupons every so often, too! read more

I'm surprised, I stopped by Ollie's Bargain Outlet and was quite surprised. I've seen the ads hit my mailbox, and only glanced at them, wondering what the hell it was (the deals would change with each mailing and items looked decent). Think of this place as the type of store that buys liquidated "good" items, like Android tablets that are just on the edge of being old and still good, and you get a tablet for like $69 bucks. They have books for cheap (good books like the 'For Dummies' series that you can use to learn new things). Cleaning supplies you would find in a home depot etc; are here at a 1/3rd of the price, it is hard to believe, but each time I've come here I've left with a few good bargains (not just useless junk like Walmart). I bought some tools here and actually noticed the prices and brands were better than Harbor Freight next door. Give it a go, I was surprised. read more

My mom shops here all the time, loves the prices. But unfortunately she has a run in with a disorderly cashier her last visit. Teresa. My mom had found a few items in the extra clearance section that were missing a few things and had been marked down to a great deal. She went to check out and Teresa had rang one item put it down rang up a few more items then picked up the same item and charged it a second time. Also another discounted item she rang up higher than the actual price. No big deal, my mom showed her the receipt and asked her to fix it. Teresa, miss high and mighty, told her she rang everything up correctly as my mom is showing her the receipt and actual items. Teresa says 'fine ma'am" while throwing them into a bag, gives the money back then tries to ring up the item again for a third time. My mom once again explains that she's already been rung up twice for that item and just needs the refund for the second mistake rung up. This infuriates Teresa and she says "whatever take it and go". Then hides the receipt, once again my mom has to ask for her recipes. Teresa throws another fit then gives her the receipt. Now I understand everybody has their bad day, but when you're in customer service you must get your act together. If you are having that bad of a day to treat a customer so poorly and disrespectfully then don't come into work. I'm in customer service as well, and my clients never know when I'm having a bad day. They are always my number one priority, whatever I'm dealing with is second to them. Also. Where are the managers? Why weren't they there? This event could of been avoided. My mom is the sweetest and most kind woman you will ever meet, she wouldn't even think of complaining. But all I have to say to good thing I wasn't there with her, I do not take kindly to people who disrespect my mother or anyone for that matter. I would of had quiet a few words to say to Teresa. I hope management talks with her and let's her know it's not ok to treat others as if inferior to them, personal issues need to stay home and not taken to work. Teresa, I'm sorry for your bad day but please please please don't take it out on customers. That's how businesses lose business and profits. You must keep your customers happy and treated right. read more

I had an excellent experience at Ollie's. The prices are very reasonable, products have good quality, and they have a variety of options for everything you are looking for. I purchased a full size matress and laminant flooring material, both reasonably priced, and really nice looking. The staff is very nice, kind and extremely helpful.
