There are several aisles, like a dedicated section of the store, just for wall decor/art. And there's a huge rug section organized by the primary color scheme. AND LAMPS!! So many lamps!! An aisle of curtain rods! I could go on. But basically anything you could want that would be for your home you can find here. I love coming here in the summer to find garden decor like lawn stakes, planters, and decor like solar lawn gnomes and the like. They also have a great selection of umbrellas and cushions for outdoor furniture. And if you need the furniture frames, they have that too. From sectional couches to single seats, lounge chairs and more. Prices are pretty good, too. It's not the most high end stuff but things I've bought for my yard are going into year 3 now and have held up pretty darn well during the various swings of Michigan weather. All that said, there's just something about this location that doesn't feel as polished as the other ones I've been do. It's always empty, not just of employees on the floor but also shoppers. I often feel like I'm the only one there. Some of the stock is a bit lighter than other stores, (though it still dwarfs other big box stores when it comes to home goods), etc. But overall, it's still my go to when I need containers to organize my pantry, need a new throw rug, or just want to refresh the decor in the house.

I did just that on a recent evening in Depot Town, as I had some time before our dinner reservation. As we walked past the shop, we realized we had never stopped in and decided to run in and check it out. Billing itself as a modern general store, you get the vibe of an old time general store with the rustic wooden floor, antique cash register, and basic necessities next to said cash register. But throughout the store, there are unique and handmade offerings on every shelf, table, and inch of wall space. I took my time looking over everything that evening, filing away gift ideas for friends and family as I saw items I think they would love. I also loved the Michigan- and Ypsi-themed gifts to celebrate local spirit. A friendly employee offered to help us find anything we needed, and while the only thing I had in mind was a very specific gift for a friend from my homestate, I knew I would definitely be back to buy that special something for special someones at some point. But these days I also add national parks merch, gear for my dogs, holiday decor, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks and, perhaps most exciting for a Polish broad like myself, a variety of Polish pottery pieces. In the spring and summer months I can be found perusing peony bulbs for my garden, hummingbird feeders, bird seed and squirrel proof bird feeders, planters, plants/starters for my veggie garden, pest control and fertilizers, plus a variety of lawn decor and sculpture pieces, etc. Some things can be kind of pricey but you truly get what you pay for. Even after years out in the elements everything I've bought for my yard here is still in amazing condition, my plants from here always yield the most delicious fruits and veggies, and the little birdies are so happy with the snacks we provide them from their bins.

I just talked to somebody in customer service who told me that they cannot service it because they did not move it to my new hone. I asked her what I should have done and her response was to call Arhaus and ask how to move the table. That is the dumbest response I have ever heard! So according to her thinking I need to call each individual furniture company to find out how to move each piece of furniture in my home. She did however give me the name of the company that Arhaus refers to for issues after the item was moved by someone else. Also, the manager of the store where we purchased the table told me to call customer service and there wouldn't be any problem since it's still under warranty. I'm not blaming the manager at this store. They need to train their staff properly too.

I was with my friend on a brisk Friday evening and we stumbled upon this place. We had asked around for souvenir shops in the vicinity, but ended up here at Roeda Studios. They actually had what I wanted here and thankful that I didn't have to go all over Ann Arbor to get it. In hindsight, Detroit airport didn't have much anyway and I was glad that I came here for souvenirs. We entered around 6pm, exhausted after searching through 3 nearby shops. When the cashier told us they carried Michigan inspired souvenirs, I was happy and thankful that the search was over. Roeda Studios is one of those stores that carries an assortment of trinkets and cute household things that you can decorate your home or office with. There's plenty of Michigan inspired items along with some University of Michigan logo items too. The store itself is very organized and meticulously clean. For the most part though, the experience here at Roeda Studios was quite uneventful and great that I didn't have to run around downtown Ann Arbor for Michigan inspired souvenirs. My reference would be the $6 magnets you find at the typical airport kiosk to $10+ unique ones you find here at Roeda, if you were to find something special for Michigan.
