Three months of chasing East Coast has now resulted in us being told that the insurance company "did not receive" the first claim, and that the second claim was returned for more information. Not a single piece of correspondence from East Coast throughout this time. They either do not know what they are doing or they are very under-staffed and inexperienced. Either way, unless you are willing and able to pay thousands for items that are covered by insurance and not see your reimbursement for more than a quarter of a year, go elsewhere. Additional info: and now, a month later, our claim was denied as East Coast failed to provide the information requested. We are out of pocket thousands of dollars.

DRCE provides a comprehensive program to evaluate whether the person is capable of driving, designs a system to get them back on the road and modifies vehicles in their state of the art shop to accommodate special needs. In the past therapists working with the disabled and vehicle modifiers adapting vehicles for the disabled worked in different silos and talked past one another. DRCE integrates the entire process. Not only does DRCE service wounded warriors and other disabled persons wishing to get back on the road, they also provide independent driver evaluations for senior citizens. In my case, my wife and I wanted to provide other family members assurance that a senior family member was still capable of driving locally to familiar locations during the day. DRCE put this senior family member through a series of mental agility, coordination and on the road evaluations then delivered a comprehensive report on this persons ability to drive. The two co-founders, Josh and Tammy, are on site you work with them during the evaluation. I've had to learn there is always a piece missing and everyone is just the messenger until they stop listening to your message. I know how customers can become noise... I get it they see us at our worse time. From the start their nurses and supply lady helped me get through it and I will overcome this bump in my road because of their support in my recovery. I'm sure many of them do not get told how much their job matters and the extra time and effort they put towards people in need really matters when no one else is listening. It matters because sometimes it can be the last string after a week of struggles. I'm gonna be okay... please always go above and beyond for others too. It doesn't happen often without a lot of stressful events and circumstances that get to you. I know we aren't always easy to work with, usually that is fear of the unknown driving that bus. I have met a lot of medical staff in my chronic illness years and the majority just try to do their job the best that they can with the tools and resources that they are given. I know that there are also just some bad staff out there and companies can't control that until they hear from their clients. I have no doubt that these guys would hear if someone needed someone to listen. They helped me overcome several challenges with my ileostomy and then helped me with a supply issue after I asked to be discharged because the insurance does not pay unless I was homebound and I am doing pretty well now thanks to the confidence they helped me find. I will use them for my future needs.
