Glebe was able to much smarter without any visible damage so no repairs were needed. His charge was a lot lower than Best Buy so I tipped him well.

But my experience with them was bad from start to finish. After my TV suddenly stopped working, I sent Glebe TV an e-mail they have listed on their Facebook page (because their website doesn't work) asking for more information. After 2-3 days passed, I got no response. This was a sign of bad things to come, but I disregarded it as no big deal. I then called them, got the needed information, and dropped off my TV a couple days later. They charge a $95 non-refundable deposit fee to get an estimate, which can be applied later to the cost of repairing the TV. While dropping off the TV, I was told I'd get a call in "a couple days". A couple days came and went. I called 14 days later after never hearing from them. They still hadn't even tested the TV to see what was wrong with it. I'm frustrated, but continue to wait. I call back a few days later once again and no status updates. At that point I was then told a technician will call me "first thing in the morning". This call never came. Finally, after 20 days they called me first and gave me an estimate. So just to be clear, I paid $95 dollars for an estimate that took 20 days. For me, it would've cost another $200 or so to fix the TV so it made more sense to buy another TV. If I would've known it'd take 20 days to get an estimate, I would've never went to Glebe in the first place. They never apologized. I asked for some type of refund for the lengthy and expensive estimate and lack of communication on their part, but I was met with dismissive attitudes and kept getting the run-around to call back at another time. At this point, TV's have become throwaway items and in most cases it's probably more cost effective to just buy a new one. I don't recommend you take your TV to a business that can take up to 20 days to give an estimate, does not initiate contact with their customers, and is dismissive/unapologetic to it's customers. She has admitted there were some big learning and growth moments with what has transpired with our case, and as a result, has apologized. In addition, they admitted they didn't order the correct part and should have spent more time ensuring their initial mistake wasn't repeated. It's a rare occasion to have a company admit they repeated a mistake and are willing to work towards an agreeable resolution. Thankfully ABW has shown they are concerned with what happens to their customers, you just have to let them kindly know if they are heading down the wrong path. Our microwave broke in April, we are a week away from September, and the microwave is still not fixed despite them coming out 4 separate times. In short, ABW has been to our house 4 times; 3 times with the wrong part. Yes, they ordered the wrong microwave door 3 times. They came to our house 3 times with the wrong door. I really don't know what else to say or how best to describe what happened other than pure incompetence. I don't think I've ever had to deal with a situation like this before, since most companies would find a solution after their first mistake, but clearly they care only about your money and how much they can grab from you. After a lot of back-and-forth via email, it was discovered that they had been entering the wrong model number from the beginning, but we were told that it was Bosch who kept sending the wrong part. So they blamed Bosch and failed miserably at taking ownership of the mistake they made over, over and over again. In the photos below you'll see one of the final emails where they're "apologizing" and giving us a "discount". However, after researching the right parts number, the $374.49 "discount" from their original asking price of $627.59 is roughly the average and going price for said door. At face value, it's clear we're still being ripped off despite their egregious and continuous mistake of ordering the wrong part not only once, not twice, but three times. Could you imagine ordering the wrong part for a customer, telling them it's on back order, and making three service calls over the course of 5 months? I can't. I'd be fired. I'm truly at a loss for words. I'm sorry to say, but for your sanity please find another business to order parts, equipment or have any type of service done. Please learn from my horrible experience and find another business to buy and service your appliances.

I eventually decided to return it as it didn't provide me with the functionality I need and that I had on my previous model 11. I returned it within the 30 days and at first they said they wouldn't take it back despite it being in the exact same condition as when I bought it. Then they agreed to take it back but only returned me 60% of the purchase price to my card. A normal business re-shelfing fee is ~15%. The staff themselves are very nice so I blame the owner of this store for caring more about profits than being true to your word. Avoid this store.

They have a wide selection of not just Birkenstock but other brands like Hoka. One thing that immediately stood out was the customer service. I really wish I remembered her name to put in the review, but she was excellent. Even though I thought I knew my size, she suggested I use the foot scanner machine and proceeded to educate me on my foot pattern. Furthermore, she was very knowledgeable about the product and made sure I knew all the benefits that came with it. Birkenstocks themselves are worth every dime, but the added service was priceless.
