Very nice, homey hotel in a quiet residential area just a few minutes drive from central Waterford. The grounds, architecture, and decor were very pleasant. I particularly liked the library with comfortable chairs and view. Staff was very friendly, too. We didn't have the extra cost breakfast, but the restaurant menu looked great, which is good because there aren't a lot of external choices in easy walking distance. Even though this was larger and more hotelish than our typical choice, we felt so comfortable that we stayed a second night. A little more expensive than a thrifty B&B, but a very good value if you want something fairly elegant. read more
