The pasta bar was a hit, with options like stuffed pasta, chicken pasta, and salmon pasta...all delicious and well prepared. Staff did remove the food rather quickly as there was enough for seconds but there were folks that didn't even get their firsts. They did accommodate me with a plate to give as one of the groomsmen didn't get one in time. So they made a few huge plate options to make up for it. The bar service was also top tier, thanks to the bartender Roxanne. She made sure the drinks kept flowing and wasn't skimping, which I appreciated and after all, it was paid for. The venue itself made for stunning pictures, and I especially loved the open outdoor area, which sparked so many ideas for a grand entrance. First off... The venue itself is very nice. We feel it was very high priced and that their "$1000…read moreoff" promotion was ridiculous, taking the venue itself from $6495 down to $5495... Especially when they charge so much for everything else. There is mandatory coordinator that they charge you $850 for, they also charge $400 for the bridal room and the $400 for the groom room for the day of, they misled us into thinking that we would be able to provide our own alcohol, which we find out after signing the contract that they "don't allow that anymore" and that the girl who showed us the venue "was mistaken". We had 110 people there, and the bill just for Chapman Hill was $10,215...That did not include ANY of the vendors. Again, its very pretty place to get married...We loved it! BUT...here are the reasons we give them 3 stars and not 5... 1.) You pay $400 for each the bride and groom cabins for the day ($800), and they literally took our stuff out of the rooms starting at 6pm, when we had a 5pm ceremony. When we expressed our concerns, Susan sharply says, "Its in the contract. Its in the contract."...not even allowing me get anything out of my mouth. She then continues, "We need to get everything out so that our cleaning people can come. Also, we don't want anything left behind, so thats why we do it this way." I can tell you...things were left behind, things were lost, and it cost us money. 2.) The groom's cabin...nobody bothered to turn on the heat before we arrived. We started arriving at 10am the morning of the ceremony to a cabin that was 45 degrees...not kidding. By the time 6pm rolled around, temperature inside was at 62 degrees. Also, though the bridal cabin was probably well worth the $400, that grooms cabin was NOT! Hardly any space to get ready, they have 4 TVs on the wall, which seems cool, until you go to change the channel and they all use the same Roku remote...hahaha. We finally just gave up on the cabin and walked outside. 3.) LISTEN...YOU HAD BETTER INSPECT AND TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING YOU USE THAT IS THEIRS. 3 weeks after our wedding, I get an email from Don, the owner, stating that someone from our party damaged their "plastic wicker" furniture. He sent me pictures and the damage that was done, there is no way that anyone from our party caused that. There were full strands of the plastic missing, pieces obviously cut very sharply off to remove hanging strands...this damage was done throughout the life of that furniture. Bottom line, when raised that concern, they charged me for it anyway, taking it out of my deposit. 3 weeks later, and how many events after ours, and they bill us. They probably charged everyone else too...got themselves new "wicker" furniture from Lowes. 4.) The $850 for the coordinator, meh. The coordinator was nice and all, you're sold a bill of goods that she will always keep a drink in your hand, we won't have to worry about anything, "I'll be here making sure everything goes smoothly,"...Not really. We had to get our own drinks, we find out 3 weeks later furniture "was damaged by our group", shoot...As the groom, I only interacted with her 4 times that whole day. We had to ask if we could go down to the fridge and grab a few beers. LOL. Oh Well. Just know, that although the owners are super sweet and nice up to the day of the ceremony, giving you premarital booklets, super responsive, explaining "everything" to you, when push comes to shove, they are running a business, and you are a paycheck.

In my humble opinion, Koury Farms was absolutely perfect for a small outdoor wedding. The wedding we attended as guests here sat approximately 72 people in the reception hall using four tables plus an additional 2-person table for the bride & groom. I believe there was enough space to accommodate one more table of 18 comfortably and still have room to move around. The center of the event space was open for dancing while the right side featured a gift/cards table, charcuterie grazing table and a photo booth. The outdoor wedding area was just to the left of the reception hall on an elevated, covered wooden deck overlooked a small vineyard. The seating was pew-style and featured wooden plaques placed at the base quoting scripture as well as a sign that read "Pick a seat, not a side - you are loved by both the bride and groom!" Attached to the reception hall on one side was a small space with a bar and catering tables for food and drinks, while the other side was closed off as a private space for the wedding party. I assume this is where they took their bridal photos. Overall it was a beautifully simplistic venue with lots of country charm. It's an excellent place for vow renewals with an intimate crowd of family & friends.

Terry and her team do everything they can to make sure you have a great experience there. It starts with the vendor showcase sessions she has to ensure you have great options for photography, bar, catering, etc. to the items she has available for use, at no extra charge, and goes all the way through day of where a full team of people make sure everything is covered. While this may have been my first (and only!!) wedding planned I do have numerous friends who have used the same wedding planner and she (our planner) kept raving about how well of a partnership it was in working with Terry's team. Additionally, since they only book one wedding per weekend you get the entire place available for both the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. You don't need to "figure out" when and where to have the rehearsal and dinner. As a plus we had the rehearsal dinner in the outside patio area which made that experience feel different than the wedding even though they were at the same location. Very nice!! As for the venue, you couldn't ask for a better layout. The setting for the marriage ceremony is absolutely beautiful but that alone is selling it short. At most of the other wedding venues I have been to the lounge area (outside of the reception space) seemed like an afterthought and once the reception started all activities were in one area. This makes it difficult to separate those who want to dance and have a good time vs those who would love to catch up with old friends or relatives. At White Fox Cottage there is ample room and seating outside of the reception hall to allow for this while still holding the feeling that everyone was at the same event. I absolutely loved having the ability to float between these two areas. As you look around for wedding venues for yourself I would highly recommend you start here. Water features (manmade creek and waterfalls), outdoor activities for the guests like a small fire area and space for cornhole boards, lots of seating, large covered area with fans in case of rain. Large wooded property that is very well maintained. Really nice groom and bridal preparation areas with lots of mirrors, space to hang things, fans and a/c. Grooms area had a pool table, dart board, big screen tv, couches and place to get ready and eat also with a fridge. Golf cart also was a big help for guests we had with mobility issues. Bridal prep area had multiple chairs for the ladies to get makeup and hair done with bright lighting and mirrors. Large dance floor, lots of provided tableware and dinnerware and linens. Very nice tables and chairs. Good vendors with experience they work with available also for food and beverages. Shuttle brought guests from parking to the venue building before and after the ceremony. Never felt rushed or wanting for anything. The Classic Center is an amazing venue for the physical education event that I have attended twice…read more Tons of space, high ceilings and generally good acoustics. There is so much room to move! The staff is a bit inconsistent. Some are friendly and helpful and some aren't They keep the bathrooms quite clean. The parking situation here is not very good. Of you are lucky enough to snag a spot it's good but the lot fills quickly. Overall I would come back to more events here in the future.

My experience here left a lot to be desired…read more If you are attending a large conference here, please be advised that they DO NOT have sufficient parking for all attendees. You will likely have to take rideshare or find somewhere else far away to park. When I attempted to park upon arriving at the Classic Center, an employee who was stationed outside the parking garage (to let people know it was full) pointed me toward parking for the courthouse a couple blocks away. When I drove over there, a courthouse employee told me that parking there is not allowed unless one has official courthouse business. So not only is their parking area very small, but they do not even give accurate information about where alternate parking can be found. It was incredibly frustrating. I ended up driving around for 30 minutes and finally settling for an expensive lot nearby just so I could get to my conference. Signage within the venue is virtually non-existent and employees are few and far between if you happen to have questions or need assistance. It's like they expect that everyone visiting this place has been many times before and knows the lay of the land, which is decidedly not the case. The sole reason I am giving two stars is because they did not skimp on air conditioning. It was on in full force the entire time I was at my conference, which is beyond necessary given the outdoor temperatures averaging 95 degrees with 80%+ humidity when I was in Athens. I would not have expected the air conditioning situation to go off without a hitch given the remainder of my experience here, but sometimes there are small silver linings.
