Joyce's practice is truly top-notch. Here is why: 1. Facility: Their office is somewhere between a doctor's office and a spa...very professional, clean, well organized and decorated. The temperature is always 'just right'. I love that it's close to Giant Eagle, as I can run an errand right before/after my appointment. 2. The Staff/therapists: They are great. I had massages from three different therapists before I found 'my' best therapist. All were very good. Cindy is terrific, and I set up a years' worth of standing appointments with her so I was always on her schedule. I love that I'm greeted immediately when I come in; no one puts on snobbish airs. I love that I'm not given a pressure job to buy packages or products. 3. Price & Payment: The rate is just a little bit less than Massage Envy, and the experience as good...well, probably better... The massage of course felt good during, but it was the next day that it really paid off--my back felt better than it had in years. I'm definitely making it a regular thing. What an unexpected surprise…read more My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn across the street from Photalai Thai Massage and I decided to see about getting a massage. After inquiring at all the Thai massage places within a two block radius, I decided to get a foot massage at Photalai. The price was the same for a foot massage or body massage, $40/hr. The massage started off kind of lame with the masseuse gently rubbing my feet. After I told her I liked strong massage it became great. Unlike some foot massages that spend some time on shoulder and neck, she spent the entire hour on my feet, calves, and knees. The massage was so good, I came back the next day for a deep tissue massage. This massage was just as good as the foot massage the previous day, so good in fact, I extended it by another 1/2 hour. By the way, the deep tissue is not a Thai Massage. I don't care for Thai Massge at all, it involves a lot of stretching which I find painful. The deep tissue involves more rubbing and the masseuse used her forearms to really get deep into my muscles.

I was so incredibly impressed with Erica and her bodywork. She provided an amazing service and left me feeling so much better after my massage. She also engaged in friendly conversation with me during my massage, which I do appreciate during my session! Erica was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable, asking me for any specific problem issues I felt needed more work than others. I am usually pretty picky with massage therapists and deep tissue work, and Erica did not disappoint!
