I've been a patient of Dr. Mehta's before, but after 3 years away I had to start over as "new." Her…read morenurse Karen remembered me right away, saw how much my scoliosis and kyphosis had progressed, and got me scheduled for trigger injections. I'm a Cleveland Clinic concierge patient, but I still had to wait another month to see Dr. Mehta -- I trusted her from past treatment, so I waited despite being in significant pain. A few days ago, on my way to the appointment, I hit stopped traffic from a car accident that had just happened. I called the office at 3:10 to explain, and was told to just get there as soon as I could -- that it shouldn't be a problem given the accident. I arrived at 3:33 for my 3:15 appointment and was turned away. No exceptions, no compassion. I explained I'd driven 45 minutes, called ahead, was in serious pain, had been trying to get this injection for 3 months, and had a competition out of town the next day. I was told I'd missed the 15-minute grace period and should have been there by 3:30. A 15-minute injection could easily have been worked in. If you're looking for compassion from this office -- from the front desk or from Dr. Mehta herself -- you won't find it here. I'm still stunned that a Cleveland Clinic physician would turn away a concierge patient in visible pain over an 18-minute delay caused by an accident I had no control over, after her own staff told me on the phone it wouldn't be a problem.

they need to loose their license and be sued for malpractice. read what happened to me. long…read morestory short. i missed an appointment i woke up five minutes late they wouldn't let me come in even though you sit in the waiting room for an hour to be seen. it took two weeks to get back in i was out of my meds they didn't care. i was treated like a drug attic even though i had been their patient since they bought the practice that i was a client for several years. they didn't care. mean things were said to me when i wanted clarification as to why those things were said to me they dropped me as a patient just for challenging them. i've been without my meds for two months they caused me to go thru withdrawls which was very dangerous to me. they need to loose their licenses to practice they take an oath to do no harm and they put me into a situation i could easily killed myself because of. terrible doctors hateful and dangerous.
