I had shopped with Fleet Feet about 10 years ago but they have since upgraded and updated their location and technology. It sounds like it's best to make an appointment, which I did not do, but happily Lucas was available to work with me right away. First we discussed what I was looking for in a shoe and brands/styles that had worked for me in the past. Then I removed my socks and shoes and stood on something resembling a scale but which actually made a 3-D scan of my feet. I then walked across a black mat on the floor several times, which analyzed my gait and whether I had any "hot spots." After these scans Lucas showed me an analysis of the shape of my foot and gait on a tablet. He then used this information and my sock preference (thin, thick or mid) to select try-on socks and a pair of shoes to try on. He used my feedback from the shoes to select other pairs of shoes. He also selected a pair of inserts to address my feet's needs and I tried on the shoes one with the insert and one without, so I could feel the difference. I tried on four pairs of shoes. The first three all felt good but in comparison the last pair just did not feel right and was quickly eliminated. I knew which pair I liked best so I put that on one foot then tried on each of the remaining two to narrow down to my top two, which I decided to purchase. Lucas brought out all colors of both styles so I could select my favorites. I really appreciated his knowledge and patience and am confident I have purchased the best styles of shoes for the health of my feet and body. Recommend!

I reached out to NB Corporate and a week later I heard from a person who is the actual manager, Deanna. She emailed me with an apology and asked me to come to the store to exchange the damaged shoes. I did just that today and was shocked to find out it was not she who turned me away assuming the shoe damage was my doing. Deanna was genuine, and sincerely sorry for the misunderstanding and not optimal customer service from her employee. My damaged shoes were exchanged. So, kudos to Deanna, and to New Balance for doing the right thing. Thank you.

I received an email a few days later stating that the top had been worn with evidence of sweat stains on it. I was told I could not return it but could receive a store credit. I challenged this with an email and haven't heard back. They are a small company and made mention of this to me when I requested the return. I'd say this is part of their plan so they don't have to return items. I certainly had not worn the item and had intended to purchase the larger size longer with other Wilson products as there isn't a tennis store near me. I won't be doing business with them again nor do I want their store credit! Be aware before you order on line!

Bad experience attempting to rent from them, unfriendly and snotty service, won't be returning to…read morepurchase or rent. We called ahead and asked to make reservations. I was told they didn't take any reservations and when I shared what date I was leaving I was told "there would be plenty available". When I came in they treated our family like we were stupid for asking to rent skis and said they "were all gone". A weird and uncomfortable experience overall. I will go out of my way to purchase skis elsewhere as I'm in the market for some right now.

The girl said no problem, took my money and said 30 minutes. When I showed up she said, how's this we didn't have the same font? What was I going to say? The font really wasn't a problem but the letters not being in a straight line wasn't very good. I need to find another place to have these made.

I am finished shopping with this company. I was sold a custom package for buying 12 hats…read moreembroidered with my logo. I was told that after paying the digitizing fee and buying the minimum 12 hats, that I could buy any blank hat at any Lids store in the future and have my logo embroidered at no additional charge. This was the only reason I bought the minimum instead of using another source which is 1/3 of the price Lids charges anyway. So I bought my initial minimum at a store in Charlotte, where they have honored the agreement twice, but one day recently I was at this Lids store in Winston where the salesman told me I was mistaken and tried to charge me additional fees to make some hats for me. He was rude, smug and arrogant the whole time I tried to work with him. He went on to lecture me on how he was the Lids corporate trainer for embroidery and that only he knew what he was talking about. He made no effort to understand what I had been promised and he had no concept of customer service. I was going to buy $100 worth of hats that day, in addition to the $500 I have already spent with this company. NO MORE!! I'm finished with them and I regret the money I already gave them.
