The location is clean and the equipment is up to date. The environment here is one that makes patients with discomfort feel more comfortable. Melissa is very warm and helpful at the front desk. Scheduling and payments were always easy with her, and she would get to the bottom of any question I posed. I had two therapists during my month of rehab: Stephanie and Dan. They are both charismatic and easy to talk to during my trips there. They manage multiple patients at once while being sure to give the appropriate amount of individualized attention. Stephanie is thorough and great with exercises and paperwork and Dan is a very strong therapist, which was very helpful in my case. I have low back issues that were pinching a nerve causing pain down my entire right side. The two of them helped to alleviate my constant torment and give me some great reminders of what to do at home as well as positive reinforcement while at the clinic. I admire the way Dan manages this location because everyone enjoys being there, from the employees to the patients to my poor son who had to wait for me on his best behavior. They always made us feel at ease. I would recommend this location to anyone close, it's probably even worth the extra mile or two drive if another location is closer to you.

I'm advising my partner not to go back to them anymore. My partner has paid the $120 fee every time…read moreshe has gone, yet now they are saying she owes $360 for three sessions she went to but didn't pay for? Really? The first time, for the first appointment, I remember her card was declined, but they ran it again and it was accepted the second time before she even started the session. That was the first $120 that we started to receive bills for. The second two charges, I have no idea what went wrong with their system. I suggested to the company that maybe she was getting charged for appointments that she had changed (that they had charged for the changed day), but they told me they don't charge unless she actually shows up and gets the service. So the last two charges are a real mystery, but they are obviously charging her for days she has already paid for. So the bottom line is that there appears to be something really wrong with their charging/financial system in that it thinks you didn't pay when you did. When I googled about this, I read about "billing errors" and "overbilling" problems that the company has. Now we have to prove to the company that she paid every time she went - which is going to be a real pain that I don't have time for.

After my initial evaluation, I was optimistic as I was trying to resolve Achilles Tendonitis before an upcoming shoulder surgery (six weeks). In six weeks, not only was my issue not helped, but I am STILL having issues six weeks after therapy ended and am unable to do anything since I am still in PT for my shoulder (which is what I was trying to avoid). There was a hard sell on dry needling, which literally did nothing to help. Without my permission or knowledge, cupping was tried and it actually felt like my calf had been sliced open. In six weeks, my therapist also cancelled three times, one of which I showed up and the office was completely locked up but no one had bothered to call me to let me know. Not only did they fail to help my issue, but when I tried to pay at the end, the girl who processed my checks apparently messed them up to the point where they were returned, even tho I have money in the account and I had to then process it online. I think that they have too many patients scheduled at the same time (they say it's an hour, but every 20 minutes there's another patient coming in to be worked on). It's also a super tiny room and they don't have the most up to date therapy equipment. My mom also came here for 6 weeks trying to get her shoulder better after a replacement and she had gone somewhere else. Neither of us are better and we both have done better for our issues on our own. I came here because my mom was here several and she said they were better then. I suggest you go elsewhere.

Until very recently, he was only able to be seen (elsewhere) once every 2 weeks for Speech. At the same location, we were waitlisted for three months just for an OT evaluation! Needless to say, that was NOT working for us! My son needs more intensive (weekly!) services. Turning Wheels Therapy came recommended by another professional we saw. The owner, Amy, worked with me to get my son in for both therapies on the same scheduled day, and at a time that luckily worked with our crazy schedule. I am SO appreciative of that!! My son really enjoys his OT with Erin and his Speech with Kelsey. Both have been great with my questions. Erin especially has been great with providing me with resources and information regarding OT-based activities and supports. They are currently remodeling their basement area to better accommodate OT/equipment, and I am excited to see the final results! I am very happy that we found private services that works for us. My son is making great gains already, and that makes life easier for all of us!

SYMPHONY OF HANOVER PARK / 3RD FLOOR NURSING…read more I would agree with all the negative comments here. Many of the nurses aren't attentive, there is no communication and they simply don't care about the patients or the facility. It's impossible to find out any information. I came here as a cardiac patient (Heart failure) and had to wait numerous times for a nurse to answer my call light. The last straw was today when I waited over 1 hour and 22 minutes. Some of the nurses were nice and attentive but most don't really care. Sometimes this is a earmark of the people that own and manage because they purposely under staff, over work and under pay nurses, particularly the foreign ones. You can forget about your room being cleaned, bed made or a bath on the weekends. If you have a love one take them somewhere else. ***** 5 STARS go to Carol, Ashley and Stacy for the Rehab Unit (Different than the overnight nursing unit at Symphony) I came in not able to get into or out of a car, do stairs or walk very far. In just over two weeks I am now able to get into and out of our car, do stairs and walk further. Wish this rehab had out patient.
