I found Chris Kelly when he and Mary first opened Fox Valley P.T. and Wellness when my husband required specialized Physical Therapy after spinal surgery and months at Marionjoy and the treatment from Chris was exceptional! For myself, I have received P.T. from Chris following 2 knee replacements.. both knees are still strong after ten years. in the interim I have returned for P.T. for shoulder , back and balance issues which have been resolved each time under Chris' personalized therapy and home exercise plan. Within 3 months of consistent rehab, communication, exercise, and dry needling, I am back on the tennis courts and continuing to live my life as I did prior to injury. They were very attentive and listened throughout the entire process. As I went in for my weekly PT, Joe would assess my progress and would address both gains and losses from the week. We would proceed from there...communication was key! There was always a plan. Mary helped me with dry needling and while it was uncomfortable for a couple of the sessions, it was truly beneficial overall. I would definitely have dry needling done again if I had a flair up. I especially want to commend Bill. Bill has been the most involved, caring, patient, and understanding therapist I've ever had. I've gone thru my share of injuries to my ankle and his expertise and professionalism has been remarkable. Most importantly, despite being discharged, he is still very involved in my recovery. He has checked in with me since the discharge just to ensure I'm continuing to progress. I've never had a therapist that's been so dedicated to seeing me succeed. Danielle refused to give me the price per hour or any other price information (like an estimate). She interrupted my questions & statements and seemed insulted by my inquiries. There was no price transparency from Danielle. Just before actual therapy, Danielle repeatedly and sternly stated I should call "billing" to learn the cost of therapy & if my insurance applied. This business' "billing" number is not identified on its business web site & I did not want to use her services before knowing the cost (just like any other reasonable person). Danielle's conduct was shocking because the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/2), requires medical providers provide itemized statements for services upon request. It is advisable to get a cost statement and estimate from all healthcare providers BEFORE it is too late.

I was treated like a King pre and post surgery. Dr. Shadid spent all the time necessary in pre-surgery visits. I never once felt short-changed on an office visit. All my gel and cortisone injections were performed by Elliott. He explained the procedures every step of the way before the procedure and also while he was doing them. I am completely comfortable with him performing these procedures. He remembers me each time and details about my life and we have conversations beyond the medical issues at hand. You'll never meet a nicer guy. The front office staff are polite and attentive. They greet you with a smile and wish you a good day as you exit. I cannot recommend Genesis highly enough.
