I was in back pain for over three months. The pain was so bad that I couldn't walk even a few…read moresteps, sit for more than 15-minutes or sleep more than 2 to 3 hours a night. I even had a difficult time dress myself or even putting on my shoes. Yes, all simple tasks were nearly impossible! I went to urgent care, the chiropractor, a spine specialist, and even tried PT at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab with little to no relief. I heard about aqua therapy and ask my doctor to investigate it with me. I found Rush PT at Morraine Valley. Religiously I went 3-days a week. It was AMAZING. Things I could NOT do on land I could accomplish in the water. Eventually, we moved our therapy program to land with great success. Sarah my therapist recommended dried needling to help relieve my pain. I was reluctant at first but she assured me it was safe and effective. SURPRISE.... I was able to get off all my pain meds. (I was on 3 different types 3 times a day). It was like the spasms and pain stopped misbehaving. My pain was gone! My movement restored! Today, I am following the exercise program that Sarah has laid out for me and try to swim at least 2-days a week. I am back to my old self, med-free, pain-free, and happy to be moving again! I have been to prior physical therapy business where there was only 1 therapist who dealt with you solely and I have also been to other therapy businesses where there are several therapists to choose from to get your therapy. I feel it's only fair to break down this review/rating into categories: Location: 2 stars - convenient Beverly location with ample parking in their private lot. I didn't feel comfortable parking in the lot - although there are tall light posts back there, they don't come on and it's completely dark in the lot. I would try my best to park on the side of the business but it's limited parking over there and they had started construction in that area as well where temporarily you couldn't park in those spaces. Treatment: 4 stars - physical therapists really work hard to help your condition. They thoroughly massage the injured area, give you exercises at the facility and at home. I feel the treatment did help my foot quite a bit. I didn't like the fact that even though I could of had an appointment with my scheduled therapist, if they were still working on someone, another therapist would guide you as to what your therapist notes are to do until your therapist is available. Staff: 2 stars - front desk staff was nice and friendly. The physical therapists were friendly as well which I could appreciate. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism that not all but a few of the therapists had. While I would be getting my massages, certain therapists would be talking negatively about other clients out in the open by either saying their name outright or using first initial, last initial in front of everyone. I was also directly given information from two therapists about patients there (who they liked, who they didn't) and as a client, I shouldn't be told about any of that, it made me uncomfortable. I'm not going to be trusting that when I'm not around that I won't get talked about too and it's a valid concern. Staff needs to have a level or professionalism and be very careful also what's talked about due to HIPAA laws. Privacy: 1 star - The facility is built very well - each station had a table with a surrounding curtain to use for privacy but they were not being used most of the time (I only saw it used once while there). I saw body parts that I shouldn't of seen (e.g. a man's fully bare hairy chest (and he was a big man). These curtains should be used to give the privacy necessary for who is being treated and other clients around. That's what they are there for. Equipment: 5 stars - There is all kinds of equipment there to help you with whatever ailment on your body you have from exercise machines to balls to ultrasound machines for massage/pain therapy. I'm glad this business was able to help me but I do hope the things mentioned can be worked on because they are serious issues that can make or break someone continuing to use this facility.

I than met Melanie who would be my Therapist. The first day was mostly stretching hanging my arm which had not been out of the sling straight down (The Elephant). We follow this up with stretching and exercise on the table, the pulleys, the wall and other exercises. Mel helped me locate items to purchase at home so I could work from there things like pullies, hand weights, stretch bands and more. After a brief stay in the hospital for an unrelated issue, my Physician stated that I had Frozen Shoulder Syndrome. Mel explained what that was and how we could correct that and rehab my shoulder. What a great news! Somewhere along the line Matt was transferred to another facility and Jonathan joined Orland Park. I continued working with Mel I was amazed that my arm could move as far as it did with little or no pain. Mel was my hero. But she was helped by Jon, Lyn, and Talia until she (Mel) was transferred. Jon became my therapist, we move my arm in ways I thought impossible but it worked, Mel, Jon, Matt Talia, Lyn and the entire staff were excellent. I completed therapy on May 22, 2023 forty four weeks after my Surgery with about 99% of my initial movement Thank you PTSIR for a job well done!!

In the past, I have received substantial physical therapy at Athletico for various injuries and surgical rehab & I can say with 100% certainty that the quality of physical therapy care at Athletico and the physical therapy professional equipment at Athletico is far superior than that of PTSIR. On 12/30/2024, I attended my 1st physical therapy session at PTSIR. I was taken into a small room approximately 9' x 10'. Due to small size of the room, the entire right side of the PT table was pushed flush all the way against the wall thereby rendering it impossible to perform the PT exercise I was instructed to perform which required my right lower body to extend past the edge of the right side of the table. The physical therapist & clinic director said - you're not going to be able perform the exercise to the right because the table is against the wall. Even though it was an impossibility to perform one of the PT exercises due to the location of the PT table being flush against the wall on the right side, PTSIR billed $655 for a 50 minute PT session. This is unacceptable and outrageous! PTSIR's lack of space & improper PT set-up and/or unwillingness to spend the money to lease or build-out a proper PT space is unacceptable. I was advised by the clinic director & physical therapist to contact the billing department at PTSIR. I twice spoke Nina in the billing department. Both times Nina represented she would call me back by date certain but failed to call me back. This is unprofessional & unacceptable & exemplifies the poor manner in which this company conducts its business operations. Subsequently, I also spoke with Melanie, Christina & twice spoke with supervisor Kathy F. in PTSIR's billing department. I was told by the billing department that Nina orally claimed that she did call me back & leave me a voicemail message, however, that was blatant lie as my call log does not show an incoming or missed call from Nina & I did not receive a voicemail message from Nina. Again, this misrepresentation & blatant lie by Nina is unprofessional & unacceptable & exemplifies the poor manner in which this company conducts its business operations. Like Nina, supervisor, Kathy F. also twice represented she would call me back by date certain but failed to do so. Again, supervisor Kathy F.'s failure to follow through with her representations is unprofessional & unacceptable & exemplifies the poor manner in which this company conducts its business operations. Additionally, both the clinic director & Kathy F. represented that they would send a message to the regional manager, Joshua V., to contact me directly to further discuss this matter. Almost 2 weeks elapsed, however, I did not receive a call from the regional manager, Joshua V. I obtained Joshua V.'s business contact number, & called & left him a voicemail message. Joshua V. did return my call, however, he claimed he never received a message from Kathy F. or the clinic director. Clearly, either Kathy F. & the clinic director failed to send Joshua V. a message to contact me as they represented they would do or Joshua V. is lying as to whether he received a message from one or both of them to call me directly. Again, this demonstrates the poor manner in which this company & its employees conduct its business operations. Joshua V. was unhelpful and unable to do anything with regard to this matter, and quite frankly, needs some additional & significant training as to how to professionally communicate with patients & clientele. Again, this demonstrates the poor manner in which this company & its employees conduct its business operations. I have opened up a quality of care complaint with my health insurer. I cannot say enough amazing things about Joint Pro Physical Therapy in Frankfort. After suffering…read morean MCL sprain, I struggled for months to walk normally and with no pain. I had always been someone who loved hiking daily, riding my bike, and staying active, but over the past year I had to give up so many things I loved because of the pain and limitations. When my doctor finally referred me to physical therapy, I honestly wasn't sure it would work. But I committed to the process -- I went three times a week for a little over two months and followed all of my home exercises -- and the results have been life-changing. I saw my doctor yesterday, and she was amazed by my improvement. I can now ride my bike for an hour, walk for over an hour, and I'm reaching my goal of 10,000 steps a day on top of my bike rides! I still remember when a five-minute walk was painful, so being able to do the things I love again feels like a miracle. I have to give a very special thank you to Kim, who answered my first phone call and immediately showed the genuine care and compassion that sets this place apart. Her customer service and kindness made such an impression. I also want to thank my amazing therapists Josh, Angie, Joe, Colleen, Rae, and everyone else who helped me along the way (I apologize if I missed anyone or misspelled a name!). The entire team at Joint Pro is truly heaven-sent. I'm emotional just thinking about the difference they made in my life. When you can't walk without pain, you realize how much you take for granted -- and this team helped give me my freedom back.
