I went to a back dr. and had an mri and he said it was my sacroiliac joint causing the pain. He recommended Center for Pelvic Wellness and I made the appointment right away. My PT was one of the owners, Shannon, and I absolutely adore her! She knew exactly what to do and my back started feeling better after a couple of treatments. She gave me new exercises to add each week and those, coupled with her myofascial release/massage (I believe that's what it's called) and very gentle adjustments, have been wonderful. Don't be scared off when I say adjustments....this is not at all the same thing as what chiropractors do. It was very subtle, intentional and gentle but it made a huge difference. Shannon is a total sweetheart too! She's not only smart and incredibly skilled but she makes you feel totally at ease. I've also met the other owner, Josephine, and she's really sweet as well. I was walking out of a session one day at the same time as another client and the client told me when she started she could barely walk into the first appointment.
