The entire office is so welcoming and comforting. The atmosphere of the office, and the people you engage with from the point of check in and beyond, is/are so pleasant. My spouse and I saw Tom for over a year. He is such a kind, intelligent and compassionate person. We felt safe on our journey to recovering our relationship. My youngest has seen another member of his staff periodically and has recently requested to return so I will be making more appointments! Restore is NOT the only counseling service my family has used for mental health assistance, but I can say with confidence - they are the best I've worked with, and we won't go anywhere else now that we have found Restore! Highly recommend...and we have done so to many we know.

Strange place. They all have the same tone of voice, I was soon annoyed by the patronizing "OK"…read more(which sounded more like "not ok). PT and OT are PUSHY. NO MATTER HOW PHYSICALLY ILL YOU ARE! I was shocked to attend a PT course on Safety how not to Fall, where an elderly gentleman who had clearly soiled himself (the smell was unbearable from 2 seats over) and he was left in his mess FOR THE ENTIRE PT COURSE!!! You wouldn't treat an animal this way! Terrible! Be careful sending elderly who can't speak up for themselves! For me, Never.Again. My severe Lupus was ignored and when I saw my Rheumatologist, he said they shouldn't have made me do certain PT/OT things. Zero stars, really

When the Assistant Administrator asked me how my experience was I couldn't say enough nice things and I told her that my PT and OT deserved raises! My PT did me the biggest favor by postponing my discharge date a few days so I could practice my skills more. I was disappointed at first, but afterward I'm glad I stayed. My case manager kept me up to date on everything I needed to know. The food was excellent. My room was spacious and comfortable. I couldn't ask for more if this were a 5 star hotel. And I sincerely mean that - no sarcasm intended.

No. Just NO! STAY AWAY!…read more NO stars deserved at all. Dirty, dirty, dirty, and they drug their patients at night so they don't have to deal with them. Sepsis, bed sores the size of baseballs, pneumonia, bruises, a UTI, dehydration, not able to swallow after less than 7 days of being here for some reason, and ZERO PT. No baths. They don't regulate the diets. They don't read charts. Bad things happen at night and on the weekends with their "traveling care teams." If you want to visit a family member, you will occasionally find the doors locked, and you can't get in, kinda like they're hiding something. They refuse to tell you anything about your family member when you ask them, and they will lie right to your face. IF for some reason you or your family memeber ends up here (or anywhere for that matter), make sure to document EVERYTHING! PICTURES ESPECIALLY, videos, writing everything down. Dates, times, names, what was said, what happened..... Stay current on getting copies of medical records and lists of medications, because you'll get the run around on that request when you leave the facility and no one will call you back, and if your family member dies (whether its in an acute care facility or nursing home, hospice, the hospital or wherever) you need to appoint an Administrator and get a lawyer to get the medical records unless you have a durable medical POA. If you suspect anything or don't like how your loved one is being treated, file a complaint with the ILDPH. This place is a slow death for anyone. My dad spent 15 days in this hole (after 7 days, he could no longer eat or swallow. Kind of like someone stuck something in his throat, and he couldn't get it out or like they punched him in his throat. They couldn't even pass a camera down because of some sort of "blockage" when he went back to the hospital). He had so many infections that they had to pump him full of antibiotics AFTER he was readmitted to the hospital, less than 3 weeks after being discharged for a STANDARD HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY" A week and a half after that, he came home for hospice and died within 3 days. OH, don't worry, I'm writing a book which WILL be released in the next year or 2. You can't pay to remove book sales like you can to remove Yelp reviews. Karma is a you know what, and people WILL be held accountable! Apparently, a $213,000 fine for violating the Civil Monetary Penalties law wasn't enough, so now we move to prove breach on contract and care. Don't be fooled. They DO have deficiencies and fines and payment suspensions. People need their licensures pulled. NOTE: If this review is removed at any point in time, I WILL make sure it gets put back. It's funny how several other reviews have disappeared, and no other information can be brought up about this facility anywhere unless you know where to look. Open your eyes too, some of the doctors in the hospital are just as terrible and just wanted to shove my dad out of his room after a week where he was being treated for all these facility incurred infections, so they could make room for the next victim they were going to send back to this hole. I guess they didn't want Medicare to penalize them since he was being readmitted back to the same hospital within less than 30 days. Watch out for Alden Debes, too. For some reason, if you leave OSF, that is automatically where they want to dump you. We believe some of this may have started there.

I never thought l'd be turning 30 years old while bed-ridden in an acute care facility. That…read moreunfortunately became a reality in 2023, after I was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver with dementia on I-39. I just wanted to take the time to recognize the staff at Thrive of Lisle, as they took great care of me. Shoutouts to CNA's Alan & Harrison; nurses Shirley, Mark and Gina. They are the best! Kellie from activities, Jerome and Sue are always roving the halls and engaging with residents. The positivity and enthusiasm of the staff is truly contagious, and made this long recovery journey easier for me. Therapists Susan, Ed, Keyenna and Tiffany have been helping me work towards my goal to be able to walk again and use my left arm. I love Thrive of Lisle, and the staff here. 2023 was easily the darkest time of my life. I nearly lost my life, and was not sure if I'd ever walk again, or be able to return to the career that I love. The staff at Thrive treated me like family. I can't tell you how much happiness and hope that CNA Alan, Nurse Shirley & Kellie brought into my life during this time. They are truly special people. I still come back to thrive and visit at least 4 times a year. It's rewarding for me to visit the current patients during activities time, as well as spreading positivity and encouragement. I also love seeing my extended family (the Thrive staff). My advice & words of wisdom for incoming patients and their families: * Advocate for yourself as the patient; if you're a relative; please advocate for your loved one. * Treat the staff with love & respect (I promise it'll come back to you ten-fold, and will be a much better experience for you & the staff this way.) * You might be shy at first, but take full advantage of the activities that Kellie puts together! From craft-making to group games; it's a fun time for everyone! (Even the patient's visitors are encouraged to participate). * It doesn't matter if you're bedridden, the staff will make sure to get you out to socialize, shower, or PT. You just need to communicate your needs to them early enough in the day. * Family: PLEASE don't underestimate the power of your visits. Frequent visits will greatly help your loved one as they strive to recover. I had at least 2 family members taking turns visiting me throughout each day. *Keep in mind, you ARE allowed to sit in on your loved one's physical therapy sessions. - Just ask the therapist as a courtesy* * Stay positive & Keep on thriving! Respectfully, Tim

The therapy was to target both upper and lower body and I felt it was a great benefit for me. Therapist took time to answer my questions on how or why the different excersises were a benefit. I had Murium and Traci. Nurses and CNAs were all pleasant. When I was not in my room they would look for me for required medications or lab tests. They also seem to work as a team. No task is beneath anyone. The activities director Kelli has such a nice personality that even someone like me that typically does not join in was participating. Because I did not have anyone visiting me they made a point of making me not feel alone. Many of the staff were good but I had a special thanks to Noah Teddi Alfonso Sue Kelli Drew Odette and my wound care team. I was able to heal nicely by the time I was discharged thanks to their attention and care. Only issue is with the evening shift. I think they forget at times that it is bedtime for us even if it's just a work-shift for them. They would be quite loud and slam doors. Rooms are 2 people so if someone needs to be tended to in middle of the night or is hard of hearing that's a problem too.
