I have never felt more comfortable in a rehabilitation facility in my life, you are in amazing hands here at encompass. I don't leave a lot of reviews but I couldn't let it go unsaid that I think everyone should aim to get placed into encompass for any type of rehabilitation. Everyone from the custodians to the big wigs have been extremely motivating and positive and you can tell they genuinely care about you and want to see you recover. Oh and the food is actually really good most of the other reviews I have seen about encompass have been about how bad the food is and they are not true at all!!!

Better than our UW hospital experience by a long shot! I heard they changed ownership in past couple of years. Anyway, the Nurse Practitioner, nurses and CNAs have all been wonderful and caring. It's a little bit outdated inside but it's very clean and the care is wonderful, so who cares? In addition, they cook their food from scratch (recipes apparently come from corporate) and my Mom loves the food. They also did very well on their last state audit. I was shocked to attend a PT course on Safety how not to Fall, where an elderly gentleman who had clearly soiled himself (the smell was unbearable from 2 seats over) and he was left in his mess FOR THE ENTIRE PT COURSE!!! You wouldn't treat an animal this way! Terrible! Be careful sending elderly who can't speak up for themselves! For me, Never.Again. My severe Lupus was ignored and when I saw my Rheumatologist, he said they shouldn't have made me do certain PT/OT things. Zero stars, really

When the Assistant Administrator asked me how my experience was I couldn't say enough nice things and I told her that my PT and OT deserved raises! My PT did me the biggest favor by postponing my discharge date a few days so I could practice my skills more. I was disappointed at first, but afterward I'm glad I stayed. My case manager kept me up to date on everything I needed to know. The food was excellent. My room was spacious and comfortable. I couldn't ask for more if this were a 5 star hotel. And I sincerely mean that - no sarcasm intended.

They were friendly. My grandma looked like she had been bathed and hair brushed. When I would talk to my grandma with questions about things they would come over on their own an answer my question. I didn't even have to ask. They adhered to her diet restrictions. I only had one complaint and they addressed it before I was even able to complain and it didn't happen again. They had private showers in their room. The bathroom was kept clean. She had her own room. All the other patients were lovely. ( Except for a grumpy guy but that's not their fault )If we are in this situation again I would definitely choose to send her here vs Waconda care. Hope this helps.
