I jumped from one medicine to another until I had about 9 months of withdraws getting off them. Every single medication made things worse and worse. I would be having negative side effects and try to get in contact with my "Doctor" and she would take days, sometimes as long as 4 days, to get back with adjustments. The whole time I'm going crazy. The Peak group came up several times and the Wylie location is the closest one to me. I scheduled my treatments and have enjoyed the wonderful people who work here. They are friendly, efficient and caring. The results are gradual, but after six weeks I am feeling no pain again. She said she wouldn't apply my already paid deposit for my next appt. due to the fact I called to adjust my appt. at the 23 hour mark instead of the 24 hour mark, so therefore I'd lose the deposit I paid and have to repay it to re-schedule. I had been adjusting my appt. In the portal within the allotted 24 hour time for a few weeks because my early pregnancy symptoms had been quite severe and It was hard for me to leave the house let alone imagine being adjusted while in the midst of intense nausea. I had to call to reschedule this time because I was at the 23 hour mark and past the 24 hour mark....she didn't ask my name or appt time. I just told her forget it (Im not going to pay extra money for frivolity) and I'd just find another office mostly because she was very curt and you could tell by her attitude she was not interested in me being a patient there. After hanging up I realized she didn't even ask my name or appt. time. I called back to ask why she didn't ask my name and how she knew which appt. to cancel. She said "oh I looked up your phone number" ...which is fine, but still strange front desk manners to not acknowledge or confirm who you're talking to and confirm the appt. time or account you're dealing with. It was all very abrupt and passive aggressive. She told me I was the only appt. That day, so maybe I'm better off at an office with a little more demand. We understand the 24 hour cancellation policy...but 23 hours is petty. She didn't say any impolite words to me, but any human being with a sense of social norms could tell she was being rude and abrupt and terse in her tone. Too bad. I was looking forward to receiving prenatal care here. Sorry for the doctor who lost a patient and the future patient of my baby. When will offices start to realize that service starts with the person who picks up the phone to your office? So silly-over $30 and and 1 hour.

I've been to about 8-10 chiropractors in the past 20 years, But Dr Elliot is by Far my favorite! She is kind and gentle and thorough and thoughtful. She really looks at your entire physical condition and adjusts treatment plans based your your specific needs and situation. Alex and Eva are also great in helping with stretching, exercising, massage chairs or connection to tens unit. They are punctual and efficient, I never wait long in the wait area. The team is good at moving people into different treatment areas to maximize efficiency.

This is my first visit here and my first time with a chiropractor. I was very happy with…read moreeverything. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, spent about 5-10 minutes filling out some forms, was escorted to the patient room and Dr. Thepotte saw me immediately. He examined my back and asked all the right questions about my back, mental state, diet, existing conditions, etc. We then proceeded to get several x-rays of my spine and then I was escorted to have an electrode (tens) therapy session, then to a special back chair which kneads out tight muscles and knots in the back. That chair was amazing but is not for the faint of heart. It's incredibly strong. After my therapy sessions we discussed my x-rays and then he performed some chiropractic procedures. He popped my neck and immediately removed 2 knots in my neck. It was very simple and not painful at all. Afterwards he located the knots in the middle of back and used the retractor bed to stretch my spine which worked really well. I'll be going back next week for regular therapy sessions and using exercise equipment to hopefully improve my balance and strength. I'm super happy I found this place. The staff are incredibly nice and Dr.Thepotte is a fantastic physician with wonderful bedside manner. He's like a friend and even offered to get me some ginger at the store to help me with digestive problems. Who does that?

While being treated, all was well for the most part. Then I had work travel, illness and upcoming…read moresurgery that led me to cancel my final appointment.... Or so I thought. I explicitly verbalized on more than one occasion I would reach back out to get the next appointment on the books after my schedule calmed down and I recovered. What the receptionist heard: reschedule the appointment when she wanted anyways and note in the chart we "tried" to call to confirm. This has to be some type of insurance fraud, as they billed for an appointment and saying I no showed now. Date of service was supposedly in August, just got that bill. Called and personally spoke to Carissa today, who said she didn't know what the charge was for, contact billing. Called billing and they told me, as well as the dr is the one that has to dismiss it. Called Carissa back and filled her in on the case, immediately got defensive and stonewalled me before saying there was nothing she could do in a clipped tone and hanging up. What other fraud is being committed at this business? BBB and the medical board, just to name a few, are some visitors on my list to call next. Mistakes happen and can be made right, but I refuse to be swindled, a victim of fraud, and potentially have my credit hit when others are out here lying about appointments and charging for them.
