The therapists were great, but they advertise the first visit/assessment as free and their collections is now trying to charge me full price for this. I also specifically asked their front desk exactly how much each visit would cost with my insurance, after being told a reasonable price, I went a few times and here again their collections are trying to charge me an additional $30 for each visit. Quite annoyed. read more

I have not personally used these facilities but I have been there 2 times a week for the last 3 weeks and I feel that gives me the right to review it. Positive: the staff is SUPER friendly, they are ALWAYS on time, my mom is the one who goes there for therapy and this is the 2nd time she has had to go there and she wont go anywhere else for therapy. No negative here! read more

Sam from Athletico was fantastic to work with. My shoulder dislocated a few months back and with his therapy sessions, I was able to recover full mobility. My strength will take time but I honestly can say I wouldn't have made the progress I did without their help! Thank you. read more

Pros: The staff is exceptionally friendly and the wait was never long. Cons: Their approach was not effective at resolving my problem and I still didn't see improvement in my injury after 7 weeks with them. Then I tried another PT clinic, which recommended completely different exercises and suddenly I got better! I felt Maximum Impact did not take a holistic approach to my injury. I knew my nagging knee problem was related to a weakened hip, but they would only focus on one problem (my knee) at a time. I also felt the junior therapists were more interested in doing sidework rather than supervising my exercises. From my new clinic I have learned how very important it is to execute the exercises using proper form, otherwise they are not effective...and a weak hip was the root of my knee problem, as I suspected! Feel like I wasted 7 weeks at Max Impact, not to mention my money. read more

Great staff, everyone is very friendly. I went through several weeks of PT for pretty bad neck and shoulder pain. The exercises I was given really helped and now I'm pain free. Although they did a great job I would have liked more hands-on treatment. Of course it is possible there wasn't anything else they could have done for my problem. I'd use them again if the need arised. read more

Went in here for a few sessions due to a flare-up of tendinitis in my wrist. The staff was very kind and professional, explained everything thoroughly, and knew just how much to push without causing too much pain. I'd done physical therapy many years ago for the same problem, and they happily took my opinions into consideration when I let them know what worked and didn't work in the past. Great setting, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone needing injury rehab. read more

Maximum Impact has had a great impact on my recovery process. After a serious fall that resulted in 4 broken vertebrae & ribs plus a broken ankle, the staff were incredibly helpful and very generous with their time and skills. Having worked at a chiropractic center alongside many physical therapists for over 10 years, I can say with certainty that the Maximum Impact physical therapists are both highly skilled and knowledgeable. I'm a competitive swimmer training for the 2016 Olympics. In April of 2014, I injured my neck during a race. I honestly thought my competitive career was over since the injury was so serious. I called Maximum Impact and they were so amazing over the phone and got me in the very next day! It gets better...not only did they get me back in the pool, they made me even stronger than I was! My times in the pool are MUCH faster than when I swam in college! I'm so glad I got injured!!! ...something you don't hear everyday for sure! Thank you Maximum Impact!!! read more

"My background is in urgent care. I learned to streamline the process for helping my patients: at the same time, I was very conscious of providing compassionate, quality care. In essence, I wanted to get people better, quicker. Nobody wants to spend any more time than they have to in pain and dysfunction. As a chronic low back pain sufferer, I am well aware of the frustration my patients feel. I underwent major back surgery after exhausting multiple routes of traditional care, so I understand the physical and emotional aspects of chronic pain. Many factors cause pain, but the best therapeutic outcomes come from working with a physical therapist that treats the whole person and attends to the causes of your pain instead of the symptoms. Ari, Chad, Hector, Jared, and Matt have been fantastic. If something hurts, they do their best to fix it. I was definitely reluctant about my treatment when I began. I was taught growing up that you go to a chiropractor for your back. And sure, they definitely know how to pop your back and make things feel great in the short term, but they never fix the problem and they keep you coming back. She is unaware of what her facilities offer ie: cupping or other modalities. There's a change in ownership. I have had really good results at ATI and I want to encourage you to try them out if you need physical therapy. They have several locations around Tucson and I am a two time client at this one off Ajo and Park. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and well trained in getting people back in working order. The facility is compact but has everything one needs to get top notch results. I prefer learning and doing exercises that use minimal spa-like equipment and use things like hand weights, exercise bands, walls, treadmills and stationary bikes. Nothing glamorous but effective......and easily replicated at home or on the go. All the therapists are cheerful, encouraging and supportive. They listen and offer encouragement and alternatives crafted to your needs and abilities. Their hours of operation are pretty extensive and convenient. They can work around your schedule and greet you with a smile when you arrive. So, if you find yourself in need of some PT check out ATI.

If you can't do the plan for your own reasons, they DO NOT force you into it and offer you lower cost options. Everyone has been very friendly and assertive at their job, the front desk staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the chiropractor actually asks you every week how you're feeling or if you have new pains.
