I'm a special case due to having the genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). When I saw a PT location in Jarrettsville on the referral list from Johns Hopkins Genetics I was so happy, since it's unusual to find someone familiar with EDS in a rural area. Kevin McLaughlin is amazing! He's been working with me over the last 18 months and I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. Since my condition isn't curable, I go regularly for symptom relief and help getting things "back in place." I receive personal & hands-on treatment at every visit. All of the office staff are kind and helpful, and the business has a relaxed and fun, yet completely professional atmosphere. I have, and will continue to recommend McLaughlin's to friends & family in need of great care.

In January 2015 I had a serious rotator cuff repair along with a bone spur removal. Six weeks later I met my Pivot Peeps, Sheryl, Stacie, and Kelly at the Reisterstown location. They are true angels. Kelly, the receptionist and insurance specialist, is upbeat,friendly, and engaging. She always greets me with a great smile. When I'm having a tough day,Kelly gives the best hugs! A few days prior to my first session,I stopped in to check this location out. Kelly was very knowledgable and offered to call my insurance company for coverage. I was in a lot of pain and I appreciated the offer. I knew right away this was the place for me! Stacie, the therapy tech, goes above and beyond . She's very attentive and has an supreme"eagle eye" on using the correct form (Seems I like to hike up my shoulder) Stacie is very encouraging and has a "you can do it" attitude! My Dr wrote me a referral for physical therapy, starting 2x a week for six weeks. My first visit was Dec 2, and I had no idea how the various exercises were going to help me. I kept a positive attitude and an open mind, and sure enough, I am now almost back to normal. Ryan, Ally and Ann were so kind and supportive.
