Since I was pregnant, my treatment options were limited. Before Thanksgiving, I called to make an appointment to see Dr. McKeon. She helped my husband with some wrist pain he had so I knew she could help me. They couldn't see me for almost two months but I knew it would be worth the wait. Parking and navigating the building was a bit confusing but I eventually found where her office was located. The check in process was quick and easy. My appointment was at 9:00 and I was called back around 8:55 AM. Dr. McKeon was in the room by 9:05 AM. She diagnosed me and gave me an injection to help. She gave me some literature on my diagnosis and told me what to expect and what to do if the pain resumes. For the first time in six months, I feel like my wrist is going to get better. I hope I don't have to come back but if I need their services, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the billing department. When I called the office for assistance, they were unable to help and simply transferred me back to billing, where no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, the note on the bill threatened collections. I attempted to pay the balance online, but the Phreesia payment system froze and would not complete the transaction. At this point, I have tried every available option: The billing department does not answer calls. The office staff cannot answer billing questions. Calls are routed back to billing with no resolution. The online payment system is not functioning. The physicians may provide good care, but the administrative and billing experience has been unacceptable. If patients cannot get answers to billing questions or make payments through the available channels, there are serious organizational issues that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, this experience has earned a well-deserved one-star review..

He saw I was pre-diabetic and asked when my next diabetes test was because the Cortizone shot would produce a sugar spike. He even told me that a bone that I broken 2 years ago had healed. He was also a good communicator, showed compassion, calm demeanor. He treated me like a person and when he injected my hips, I felt almost nothing. All other bursa hip injections that I have had have hurt immensely (APP, UAB higlands ground floor). Either medication has changed since then or he is a highly skilled Doctor who can inject without even hurting you. Amazing! I waited an hour. then the RN and a nurse didn't know if it was positive or negative; so they called what I thought was a doctor he said I was positive to get x-rays done.. so I did and after I did that he and the RN told me to go to the Shelby County Health Department to get them read.. I was like what.. He said they can not read x-rays there, but yet they have an x-ray machine.. and you will get charged $100 for each x-ray if you personally don't bring them back to there clinic.. Weeks later no form, and I keep getting the run around by both the nurse and secretary every time I call, and finally there will be no form filled out. It was declined by the very same doctor who wrote the prescription. Huh? why write a rx for a medication that needs to be pre-auth only to decline it. It's like I went to the doctor for nothing and I had to go to another clinic to get treated all while my condition became worse. They will never see me again.

It was like friends getting together to workout. I highly recommend this location and these therapist!
