My daughter had a Broken Elbow prior to our moving here & did our follow up appointments with Dr. Anastasi. She is doing great! Our middle son was seen in December 2015 for a bone cyst. Results came back & it was Benign (thank goodness). Recommendation to leave it be, no surgery. Just needs to be watch it to make sure it doesn't expand. Yesterday, we took our oldest son in with a 100% displaced collar bone which Dr. Anastasi recommended surgery for. We were referred to the Mayo Clinic & Orthopedic Surgeon Anikar Chhabra : who is amazing & I will be writing a review on after his surgery on March 17th. Staff here at Dignity Health Medical Group are all accommodating & pleasant. Dr. Anastasi is a fabulous doctor. Very professional and knowledgeable, yet speaks to the patient in a way that they can understand. He listens to any and all questions that the patient has, and responds to all of them. He helps the patient make an informed decision about their treatment options. Never any pressure to do one option or another, like other doctors I have visited. I highly recommend Dr. Anastasi for any orthopedic needs.

My journey to relieve my back pain took 4 months. On July 14th of 2022 I had abdominal hernia…read moresurgery, which was a success however, when I woke up on the 4th day of recovery I was in excruciating pain in my lower back. I literally could not get out of bed with out screaming at the top of my lungs. I was holding onto the walls and furniture just to get to the bathroom. It had been 20 years since I had this type of pain and now at the ripe age of 51 my journey to relief would be monumental. After 3 weeks of chiro, 3 days a week I felt the initial pain get better, but I still felt the lingering pain underneath. Any time I walked I would have to bend over for at least 30 seconds to stop the sciatic pain from running down to my foot. It felt like burning needles were thrusting in and out of my skin down to the bone. I purchased over $10,000 in medicines, CBD oils, cannabis and equipment including a roman chair, incumbent bike and a inversion table. Nothing was working so after hours of on-line research I found out about steroid epidurals. This was a process that took over a month and a half. The doctor told me to get an MRI. The results devastated me! I had two bulging discs at my L4- L5(4 cm) and L5-S1(6 cm) and stenosis. Yada, yada, yada! The spine doctor recommended the steroid shots. The first shot made it a little better. The 2nd shot sent me to the ER. I was literally in worse pain than at the beginning. While in the waiting room at Chandler Regency I had to lay on the ground while I was trying to control my screaming from the pain. I was ready for surgery but to my disappointment at the time, the doctor said that finding a neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon could take weeks to schedule. He said before you leave, I would like you to see our on-site physical therapist. The clouds had lifted, and an angel was sent to me. Her name was Jen. She pulled and yanked and forced me to push me legs in directions that relieved the pain. I told her that I am scheduling consultations with a neurosurgeon and an orthopedic surgeon. Jen said she thinks she could help and recommended more physical therapy with her mentor and now my favorite person in the world Ted Carter. To me he is known as the miracle worker! I went to the neuro and orthopedic surgeons first. Both said that I would need to get the fuse done. The recovery time for this surgery was 18 MONTHS, OMG! NO WAY!!!!It is now Monday October 17th,. I remember the first moment I met Ted, miracle worker! He had such great positivity! Almost like a gleaming orb was radiating around him. It was kind of like the scene at the end of the first Matrix movie when Neo became the one. Yeah, I know maybe too much but he is the ONE to me! Ted looked at my MRI and concurred with the Jen form the ER that he believed he could fix me. He had said he once fixed someone with a 10 mm bulge. I had scheduled Ted 3 days a week through the rest of the year. He began doing his magic like what Jen did at the ER. I felt relief! God, I wanted it to last. Ted told me he was going to increase activity as I begin to show relief over the next few visits. He also recommended dry needling which was like a deeper acupuncture. After Ted worked on me for about 15 to 20 minutes, I worked with different people to help strengthen my core. I did trunk shifts, side lying opening, shoulder taps on table and clamshell with resistance. The staff was amazing! The last 10 minutes I laid on an ice pad while getting commercial grade Tens therapy. I felt better on the first day. Alongside everything I was doing at home I began to show results. I was using my jacuzzi stretching and doing my exercises I learned from PT. The incumbent bike and the roman chair were helping too. On my next visit with Ted and every visit thereafter we did the same routine, but he added the needling. I hate needles but pain will force you to overcome your worst fears. I could not wait for him to stick those needles in my back. It took Ted 1 month to fix me. You don't know how many times I have cried thanking God for sending this awesome person to me. I am crying right now just writing this. Ted, thank you from the bottom of my heart you will always be in my prayers! My father once gave me words of advice that I will never forget. Life is about balance. Words of wisdom. I have added one other word, Time! Balance and time will help you get through anything. With perseverance and the wiliness to believe in yourself you can accomplish whatever life throws your way. I hope this helps anyone who maybe going through pain. I highly recommend Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. The attached photo is me with my wife and daughter at the top of South Mountain the day after my last visit with Ted!!!!!!

I found Dr. Kreiner, Patricia Saunders and his staff over 2 years ago (due to insurance changes)…read moreand I am beyond thankful to have found them!! I can't imagine my life without them!! EVERYONE in this office is so wonderful; I have not had a bad or even mediocre experience here. They have tried numerous options to find pain relief for me and always do their best. Every time I see them, I know they have my best interest at heart and actually care about me and my well being. I haven't had that kind of care and concern from a doctor's office prior to this office. They work well with my insurance company and if I owe them any money, they work with me and are understanding when it comes to payment options. I love how they tried physical therapy as a means of relief for my pain instead of just prescribing meds for me; and I have even more respect for the fact that they DON'T prescribe habit forming narcotic pain meds either (that is not a good fix for this kind of chronic pain - my personal kind of pain). I love my appointments with Trish (Patricia), she listens to everything I tell her AND even remembers what I've said when I come back in (even if it's been 6 months). She's an all around great woman too! At any rate, after trying less invasive options for pain relief, they were not effective for me and to date I have had a Cervical Epidural Injection, Facet Injections and Radio Frequency Ablations completed with Dr. Kreiner, and he is always fantastic! These are not fun procedures but he (and his staff) really do their best to make it as painless as possible! I cannot conceive of going anywhere else!! Additional phenomenal staff members are Shannon, Vanessa, Becky, Nikki & a few others who I can't remember their names off the top of my head. Staff is ALWAYS pleasant and professional (even on their most stressful days). I also have heard so many compliments that staff members pay to Dr Kreiner & Kozak; that really says a lot about the atmosphere of the office and the kind of doctor's these guys are. I haven't had any personal experience with the other doctors for my care, however just seeing them around the office, they are always friendly and courteous (especially when my toddler is running around the office)!! If you're looking for a good pain doctor, this is where you will find him/her!!

My experience with AF&A appears to have been on par with that inflicted upon the other 1 star…read morereviews posted here. The front office folks are unpleasant and actually DO attempt to add bogus charges to your bill. Dr. Richardson was absolutely horrible as a DPM and completely mismanaged my care starting with the first visit. The most telling catastrophe, however, was when I requested a copy of my medical records and they provided me with those of a patient whose name, DOB, and address were clearly not mine . . . even more astounding is that the patient in question is an AMPUTEE and I am not. Please stay away from this practice. If they cannot get their act together they do not deserve to remain in business.

Very bad experience here a couple of years ago. As I type this, my toe hurts worse than it ever…read moredid before Crezee "fixed" it. Had a bunion and a bone spur to correct, and occasional pain in my toe that basically went away when I changed my exercise routine. Crezee said he wouldn't know if he had to fuse my toe until he cut me open. I naively assumed he'd never have to fuse it because it didn't hurt anymore (which I repeatedly told him and he clearly ignored). I forgot to consider that he was financially incentivized to fuse it. I absolutely hate having a fused toe, and as mentioned above, it now bothers me FAR more than it did before he mutilated it. He clearly didn't listen when I said it didn't hurt. He was extremely dishonest about the fusing. He never mentioned the true recovery time, and he flat out lied and told me it wouldn't affect my athletic ability. If he were honest and cared about his patients, he would have told me I might want to hold off on fusing it until/unless the pain is unbearable as I now know that many patients must really regret getting joints fused, like I do. They also don't respect your time. I had dozens of appointments there, and only one of them didn't start over 15 minutes past the scheduled time (often far later, 30-40 minutes). To add insult to injury, Crezee had the nerve to charge me $25 to fill out 1/3 of a piece of paper so I could attempt to get reimbursed for a knee-crutch purchase (very likely because ad revenge because I didn't buy it from them, more on that shortly) which could have easily been done during one of my many scheduled appointments. When I pointed out how unfair that was, I was told "it takes time to fill out" as a justification...so my time doesn't matter when my appointments start 30+ minutes late, and apparently I have to pay extra to have their greedy doctor fill out 1/3 of a page & sign it. Also, ALL the reviews about ridiculous charges are accurate in my experience. The final straw for me was when Crezee popped a blood blister without asking and billed me $91 for "draining an infected abscess". The "infected abscess" part was news to me, as he didn't even disinfect it OR put a bandage on it. Seems odd to allow a patient to stick an uncovered "infected" foot wound into a sweaty sock, but what to I know? That's the gist of it. I may revise this later if I remember more about my experience, but I just wanted to get this down since my fused toe is hurting again thanks to "fuse happy" Crezee. They'll view you as an ATM, not as a customer. STAY AWAY!
