So while sometimes he runs late, you won't be rushed out if he finds that he needs to spend more time with you than originally estimated when your appointment was made

I was a patient here for 2 years with two frozen shoulders and lower back issues. Turns out I have…read morePsoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. In the beginning I was in real crisis - stopped work, couldn't walk around the block, sleep or really function at all for the first year before I was diagnosed. At that time they were very kind to me. There was one therapist I didn't want to work with as I was in intolerable pain during the session and for days afterwards, but I was fine working with the other three wonderful therapists. Then one left and another stopped coming in as much. I still felt very comfortable seeing the one who was still working and for the past year I've happily seen him for my sessions with no problem that I was aware of. Yesterday one of the owners (Kim) was in the office - I didn't recognize her so I guess she's not in much when I have been. I saw that the July schedule was open and asked if I could make my July appointments. She said that she wouldn't schedule me as I wasn't following their rules despite being "talked to about it before". Her tone was really rude. I haven't been talked to about it at all and thought it was fine for me to see the therapist I was comfortable with. No-one has ever mentioned an issue when I've made appointments before and staff are usually very pleasant. Kim sounded utterly disgusted with me and I guess wanted to be sure that I knew how she felt about me. It was a shock as I had no idea who she was and I don't think (?) I've spoken to her in the past couple of years. I'm still giving the practice 3 stars because I really do think they can be great, and I've seen good improvement on my health. I'm just really sad that she was so rude to me yesterday. Maybe she was having a bad day and wanted to flex her muscles at my expense? Kim has apparently given a conflicting version of what happened - but there was a young girl sitting at the front desk who must have heard most of it. I would say go to this practice and hope that you don't get on the wrong side of Kim. Now I am stopping PT cold turkey until I can find somewhere else to go. It's a disappointing end as I have recommended them so many times over the past two years. I still do, just with caveats. Kim can be seriously mean without warning and I was quite upset when I left.

Stated he would have to shorten the bone in my toe. We agreed to give it a month and reconvene. The 2nd visit he reinforced his surgical recommendation, stating i would be non-weight bearing for at least a month...wot?? I asked about prosthetics he stated it would be more than the surgery (his nurse/assistant, Mary, was not present during the visit). He then proceeded to state that I was going through "the change". I was appalled and angry. He started discussing neighbors he played tennis with in Florida. I concluded the visit and went to a different doctor. This doctor advised a shoe insert to support my toe. Told me to give it 1 year. That was 2 years ago. My foot is fine. No more problems. Surgeons wanna do surgery. Oh and very dismissive and disrespectful. Shame on you Dr. Kaufman trying to gaslight a patient.

So first and foremost, Dr. More is extremely capable and effective and has taken care of my orthopedic needs for several years now. So regardless of whether you're an 18 year old trying to get back in the game, or an 80 year old that just needs to regain their balance, this is a great place for you.

It's a slow process but she has been incredibly attentive and knows exactly how to push and properly manage the right exercises with hands on treatment. I've had the opportunity to interact with several of the other therapists who are also very friendly and supportive. By far the best PT group I've ever been to. Hopefully, I'll be skiing next season!
