There was also little continuity between therapists and therapists did not seem to discuss clients ongoing treatments. The place I'm at now (OS&S) has weekly meetings discussing client progress and treatment approaches. And they are way better. They also send a "ratings email request." I suspect they do that to keep ratings offline and specifically off of yelp. There are better PT places out there.

He 100% cares about his patience and not in it for the money. He charges you to come in, but will help you out throughout the day at no extra charge (I have never been to a chiropractor who does this). The staff is lovely and also very caring. I starting sending my dad here after his stroke and they always call me to let me know that he made it to his appointment OK, that he had a credit or needed to pay, and would even deliver messages for me. I HIGHLY recommend coming to Dr. Atkins if you need chiropractice care. He does not do the usual cracking stuff, yet whatever he does (his weird back reading voodoo) WORKS! Pulled hamstrings, quads, sprained ankles you name it, I've probably had to deal with it! But being able to get stem treatment and ultra sound done was always so helpful. Not such a fan of the stem... To me kinda feels like ants crawling all over your skin... But I just deal with it because the results are amazing! Heating and icing as well were recommended, as with most injuries! But being able to come here and get some work done with the therapist, leaning new stretches and exercises to help warm up the muscles to stretch them more still helps me to this day! The day of my appointment they called and said the doctor had a surgery that afternoon and had to reschedule. Two weeks earlier it was open, and the day of... suddenly he has a surgery scheduled. Hmmm. I was un happy but not the end of the world. They saw me at the end of the week. I had a clipping taken for testing which the doctor told me they charge for but insurance should cover it since it was for testing. My insurance covered part of it. Not a big deal. I received treatment for my toenails, so I had a follow-up 3 months later to check my nails. The doctor said it looked good. Then he clipped my toenail as he was looking at it, which it was already very short because I had them clipped and thinned in a pedicure, so there was nothing to really get, but he was looking at them. He said they looked good and I was done with treatment. I got a bill from the office that included a fee for him clipping my nail, even though I wasn't told I would be charged. My insurance did not cover it because it was unnecessary. I vent back and forth trying to talk to someone and waiting weeks for a call back. When I finally did talk to someone I was upset about being charged when nothing was done, and that it wasn't explained to me that they would be charging me, they said "too bad". I asked to speak with the doctor since the person on the phone had no other remarks, and never heard from anyone again. I will not be referring them to anyone I care about. I have seen 3 other podiatrists and never, ever, been charged for a curious single clip of a toenail just for their viewing. I even received thinning and ultrasound and not been charged like that. That's not care, that's scamming.

At our first meeting Xander explained how the treatment will work, what to expect and what I need to do at home after the surgery. As this was my second surgery on the same knee within a year and half I was concerned and wanted to make sure that this time I find a therapist that would really help me recover well. I am glad that I found Xander and I couldn't be happier with my experience. My recovery has been amazing and I am so grateful to him. He is knowledgeable, caring and always encouraging. He gives enough time and I don't feel hurried. Next TKR on the right knee is coming up soon and he is my go to therapist now.
