I let her know that it was none of her business AND that he was acting like a d1ck to his brother and she just couldnt hang, so she called Bonner Springs PD on me While I appreciate their fast af response time- it also saddens me that they have to deal with such resource vampires. BSPD Car 38 followed me for a block while my teens were hysterically laughing at the situation and watching the officer as he was looking for a valid reason to pull me over. I truly feel that folks who misuse emergency response as silly susy did should definately be held liable for wasting these precious resources. These cops could have been scoping out some REAL crime, like idk someone smokin a doob or stealing a slice of lemon loaf from the local wally world... We really got a kick out of it though- so much that i even gave the d1ck kid his xbox back cause we shared a pretty hearty giggle. Thanks again BPD!

Last week I graduated from the Fall 2024 Citizens Police Academy (CPA), and that's what prompted me…read moreto write this review. The CPA is a 12-week class that educates citizens about the mission undertaken by the men and women of the Lenexa Police Department. Each 3.5-hour, weekly class featured a different topic, different departments, and different presenters. I was really blown away by what I learned about all the various ways the LPD serves our city, the passion of the employees to protect and serve, and the quality of the facilities, leadership, vehicles, equipment, and more. I learned that there are other educational opportunities that the LPD offers Lenexa residents, including a ride-along program; a semi-annual, four-week use of force workshop; and a summer camp for tweens and teens. I intend to avail myself of some of those! Most of all, I came away with a greater respect for the difficult work these folks do, both physically and emotionally. It gave me more appreciation for the sacrifices they make on our behalf and a greater understanding of how much they deserve our support. I highly recommend this course for anyone considering a career in law enforcement, residents wanting a better idea of how your tax dollars are being used, and resources available to us at no expense (beyond our tax payments) to help prevent crime and keep ourselves safe. With this in mind we went to the Lee's Summit License office on in pine tree plaza prepared for 2 hrs of agravation. What a wonderful pleasant supprise checkin and immediatly Heather called us over even though the place was packed, and took care of the issue in 15 minutes along with a smile. this was so confusing as we in our past lives at license office in other locations fought long lines and very rude people. I just visited this registration office this morning to renew my tags and they were so great, I had…read moreto write a review ASAP! Normally, experiences with DMV's are such a pain. Either the lines are long, the staff is unfriendly or I forget something crucial, which makes the experience horrible and leaves my day completely ruined. However, this DMV is quite the opposite! I got to their location soon after opening and there were about four people ahead of me, resulting in about a 10 minute wait. The staff member assisting me was great and made the process as easy as possible, even though there was a slight issue (important to note it was nothing that I contributed to, ha!). She quickly resolved it, gave me my tags and sent me on my way. I was in and out in about 20 minutes flat. How simple is that?! As long as I'm in driving distance to this location, it'll be my goto place. My faith in humanity has been restored ;)

I just don't understand the want to be so mean to people, almost like it was a pleasure. Had no problem telling me wrong information about proof of residency and sending me all over to get unnecessary paperwork only then to say that she could not accept my daughters passport as a form of ID!!! If this Nicole is the representation of Platte City and the Dept of Motor Vehicles, then this state is in a world more trouble than we think!!
