Atkal came and started the installation of security cameras on February 7. They did not finish the job. Two weeks passed I called them on February 15 to find out when will they come and finish. they told me they were coming out today. I said no because on one called me and I am not available. I scheduled for the coming Tuesday February 22. They did not show up on Tuesday . Calling them but no one is answering the phone. Not once they called to schedule appointments. I don't know how they can be in the communication business and yet they don't communicate at all. I would not recommend them. As for the quality of the work it remains to be seen once they are done. read more

We have a small pool construction business in Sylmar, our phone system was over 10 years old when it suddenly stopped working- we went from 6 operating phones down to 2. We found Atkal on Yelp and I called them immediately to get a quote. I spoke with Ted and he was able to send out his technician that same day to check out our existing system. They gave us the option of repairing our old system or replacing it with a new one, we went with the new system. Ted sent out his crew the very next day and they were able to get us back up and running within hours. The phones are working great! Our manufacturing company has been using Atkal for over 15 years because we love the quality of their work and customer service we've always received from their entire team. They charged me for a hour that they did NOT work, installer sit down and read the manual i printed from the internet for them AND send me to frays and best buy to find the power supply, when i can not find it, i search the internet and find find it for $14 power supply which i ask to buy it my self , but they said is better we buy it for you so they can come again and charge me $52, and then the kild hour to re do everything they did on first visit which it wasnt wrong from the beginig so i paid $476.94 for the job worth just $200 read more

Technition is very rude and likes to cut you off & walk away while your in mid sentence as if you the customer have no importance or value. I asked him his name 3 times and he refused to give his name. He is a older white male with a full head of gray hair. I think he has been with the company for a while... Not sure. We had professional electricians look over his work & they reported bad wiring. This technition is very stand off ish & doesn't like when you ask him questions about work progress. I'm a reasonable person I wish the best for everyone but this man has poor customer service. read more

Our condo building decided to upgrade its 27 year old intercom system. We had b/w video with a 4" tube screen, it was the size of a box about 10x10x6 inches, most did not work. The new unit is about 5x7x1.25 with more features, a worthwhile upgrade. As an HOA we needed to get 3 bids. They came in with one very high and the other two very close, we chose Atkal and were very happy with the results. with 30 units it was not an inexpensive job. Their technicians were great, the follow-up was frequent and attentive and our new units are a great upgrade. A few months later we needed our security system upgraded and they did a great job with that too. They arecompetent, prompt, professional with a personal touch.
