We live in the South Bay in house that was built in 1921 with lath and plaster so getting good WiFi is not easy. Brian spent a few hours assessing our entire house, Sonos system and TV's. He provided a thorough, detailed proposal that addressed our needs. He did not try to nickel and dime us or oversell as others tried to do. Brian goes above and beyond (went to Home Depot to buy mat black paint to hide marks behind the media room TV). The 4 people who work for him are impeccable and care about the job being done beautifully. We are so appreciative of his work and follow through. Brian came back twice to troubleshoot a technical challenge from old equipment, at no charge because he insisted the entire system work perfectly. Read the many 5 star reviews of Circuit Genius over the past 7 years, which are spot on- so very happy that we did.

    UPDATE: THIS CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE IS NOW SUSPENDED DUE TO REFUSAL TO PAY A COURT ORDERED…read moreJUDGEMENT. My initial review stated that I was forced to file a lawsuit against Brian Staller / Circuit Genius (legally known as: Performance Telecomm) for breach of contract. The matter is now permanently settled by the court. After the vendor filed an appeal, the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in my favor and found Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm liable for breach of contract. Owner Brian Staller calls this a "frivolous lawsuit" in his response to my initial review, but the facts prove otherwise. In his response to my first post, Brian called the lawsuit "bananas-level false" and "frivolous." The fact that I won a judgment against this company not once, but twice--once at trial and again on appeal--means that two judges ruled in my favor, finding Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm in breach of contract. The court's decision validated the vendor's refusal to honor two key contractual agreements: 1. The Refund Scam: The vendor refused to process an agreed-upon refund for a Yamaha receiver (which the contract stated had "No restock fee if not wanted"). Instead, he attempted to coerce me into a "settlement" that required me to sign a document agreeing to no online reviews, legal proceedings, chargeback attempts or warranty support for work done. 2. Deceptive Practices: After agreeing in writing to return to my home and install a network rack at "no extra charge," he later refused to do so unless I paid a new 2-hour service minimum. He then withheld equipment that I had already paid for and refused to refund the cost of that equipment. **This Contractor is now a Regulatory Liability** More than six months after the final judgment, Brian Staller / Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm has refused to pay the court-ordered debt. His failure to comply with the judgment has resulted in severe disciplinary action: 1. License Suspension: The Contractors State License Board (CSLB), has suspended his license for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgment. (See CSLB Record for Performance Telecomm; License 117708). 2. Business Lien: I have filed a lien against this business to attempt to enforce the judgement owed (See State of California Notice of Judgement Lien; File No: U250127585224). This business employs deceptive practices and does not honor contractual agreements. Brian is desperate to get 5-star reviews and refuses to accept anything less even if it means bullying and using intimidation tactics with his customers. A business that ignores its legal obligations, has a lien against it, and has its state license suspended should be a major red flag to anyone reading this. Do not put yourself through a lengthy legal ordeal with this vendor. Proceed with extreme caution.

    I recently contacted Mar Vista Security and Intercom Systems about upgrading our call box. My…read moreinitial plan involved spending around $3000 on new hardware and installation to go from land line to cell-based, plus dealing with an ongoing monthly bill of over $50. But Jack turned that around completely with some fantastic advice over the phone. Instead of pushing for an expensive upgrade, Jack recommended switching our land line provider from AT&T to Spectrum. This simple change would save us over $300 per month without needing to touch any of our existing equipment--and he didn't charge a dime for the consultation! We're talking $30 a month for a business landline with Spectrum versus the whopping $360 we were paying AT&T. Thanks to his pointer, Spectrum is coming out tomorrow to handle the switch and finally rid us of that overpriced service. What really sets Jack apart is that he was the only one out of several companies I contacted who actually suggested this smart solution. The others either ghosted me or tried to upsell unnecessary work. Jack's honesty and willingness to help, even if it meant no immediate business for him, speak volumes about his integrity. If we ever decide to upgrade the system or add cameras in the future, Mar Vista will be my first call. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!

From the clean strapping on the wires when installed keeping a straight solid line throughout or the organized connections to your hub of components and most importantly when you call him it's him that answers. Whether it's an emergency during the weekend or late at night he is there for you. There's those certain people who you know they can get it done and Vik is as elite as they come. I truly believe he brings more value for the money being spent than any other and I've used several companies. They take your money then don't answer once things get offline!

He did not want to help with my old phone that I needed to return after I received my new phone (trade-in program). Told me that I have to mail it in or go to another T-mobile store. I went to another T-mobile store, of course they were helpful, took my old phone and gave me a receipt AND advised me to leave reviews for this specific 8808 S Sepulveda Blvd store for not helping a simple work for a customer. No supervision nor manager either. Lazy employees that need to be trained for a better customer services! I personally feel bad for the name of T-mobile if this is how they treat their loyal customers.

I was a customer with Sprint for over 20 years before they merged with Tmobile & became Tmobile's customer by default. I had iPhone 12 Pro Max & after an update, began having issues with receiving calls. I came here for help. A woman (Amalia or Malina?) couldn't help & said I should try Apple store. She offered an upgrade & I said I was happy with my phone. She said she'd bring the monthly price down if I upgraded. I asked if there would be any surprises & she promised there wouldn't be. Regrettably, I believed her. I spent the next 2hrs getting help transfer data & chatting with employees who seemed nice. There were no issues.. Next morning I woke up to a text saying I had 4 additional lines added. I didn't know what that meant & contacted Tmobile customer service. A representative said there's no reason for those lines & thought this was sketchy. Without me asking, he filed a formal complaint against the store. I went back into the store. The woman who scammed me, told me that if I dropped those lines, Id lose the promotion. While in the store, I called tmobile customer service & put the representative on the speaker. The customer service representative said that this promotion isnt valid & that Im being scammed. Over the speaker, he said the store employees are doing this for commission. The store employees could hear this conversation & started getting defensive & rude. The agent on the phone heard this & told me to step out, that I was being scammed, that they're doing this for their own gain. The agent had to undo everything that was done & offered a discount to bring my monthly price to what it was before I was scammed. I went back inside to ask if this store was third-party owned. Tony, who said he was a manager, said that it was but wouldnt give me the owner's name or info. I asked for the name of the woman who sold me the phone but he said he wont give names of his employees. He told me to leave & said that I made employees uncomfortable the day before. When I asked how, he couldn't answer. The day before, I spent 2 hrs in the store as we chatted with no issues. The woman who scammed me told me that I can come back anytime with questions. No one was uncomfortable. Tony was simply upset that T-Mobile representative called them scammers which is exactly what they are, so he tried to shift the blame on me. The experience left me so rattled that I considered leaving Tmobile entirely. These people are not here to help, they are here to make $$ off commission & to scam customers. I cant say this enough... Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.
