I went to a T-Mobile store to cancel my account after switching to Spectrum for a cheaper plan. At first, the employee was very welcoming and helpful. However, the moment I said I wanted to cancel and asked about my remaining balance, his attitude completely changed. He became rude, calculated what I owed, and I paid everything in full on the spot. Before leaving, I specifically asked him to confirm that my balance was zero, and he rudely said yes. Seven months later, I was shocked to receive a call from a collection agency claiming I owed $43. I never received any bill, email, or notification from T-Mobile. Because of this, my credit score was negatively affected. This is completely unacceptable. If there was a remaining balance, I should have been properly informed--not sent straight to collections months later without any notice. Be careful when dealing with this company. Make sure you get written confirmation of your final balance, because verbal confirmation clearly means nothing in this case. read more

However, the customer service at this location truly goes above and beyond. There are no gimmicks, tricks, or hidden surprises--just honest and straightforward service. I came in to upgrade my phone, and the service was courteous, transparent, and thorough. I also learned there's a new tower coming soon to Porter Ranch, which should improve reception in the area. They are located in the same town center as the AMC theatre right in the front when you drive in. Parking at this town center can be a challenge on a Sunday around lunch time. I think it could be from the folks that are parking here for the Farmers Market across the street. Came in to return my WiFi extender and had to wait about 15 minutes or so as both reps were helping someone out. However, there was a young lady here that checked me in but was not able to assist me. I'm guessing she is new and in training. Either way, I was finally helped by one of the reps and he was able to answer all of my questions. It was a pretty smooth transaction. Though, T-Mobile is not very good in this area and I find it funny that there's a store here when their cellular service is not the best in the area. read more

Excellent service. Alphonso was able to help me when I dropped off my phones for trade-in. I had taken them to the Nordhoff location and they were more interested in making me change my plan than taking my trade-in. They told me they won't give me a receipt if I traded in there and should send via ups. Very glad this Porter ranch location was able to accommodate. read more

My wife and I were having a really hard time getting phones after UPS had lost the original order T-Mobile had sent. After some difficulty trying to get the order replaced with the mobile/online help we were instructed to go into a local store that had the phones in-stock. While not the closest store to our house the Porter Ranch location confirmed over the phone that they had the phones in-stock so we headed in. The manager at the store who I believe was named Sergio graciously assisted us in contacting the powers that be at T-Mobile and in a shockingly short period of time we were out of the store with the phones we had originally ordered. I know my wife and I both greatly appreciated all the assistance and will 100% just be going back to this location whenever we need to get new phones in the future. read more

First time here and last. Remember back in the day, salespeople would be eager to help nope not anymore. I hate hate coming to phone stores. Employees act like everyone knows what phone they want..No! That's why I came here so you can show me what you offer, what I like in a phone and what features the phone I asked about has. I'm not even a salesperson and know that. I thought the goal for YOU is to SELL. I came today and the little "sales girl, asst manager, lead" whatever literally pointed to everything from her chair until I set that alarm off. She turned it off and went back to her chair. I asked to see a new phone and her reply " I have one here but, I can't show it to customers yet" so why mention it? Just to taunt me lol oh look I have the new phone but, its top secret. No one in the store but,you are rude and dry to someone who is ready to upgrade. This is why I have no sympathy when certain people lose their jobs!
