Bought a 50 pound bag a year and half ago and they were good pecans. Got a bulk discount. Paid them in cash.

This young man pretty much had all the tables in the dining area and was hustling. He was none stop moving and tentative to all his tables. If you do decide to stop in highly recommend getting him as your waiter. The entrance is in the back with the hostess stand and, can be a little challenging to find. The one downfall is the parking. Once it fills up it can be challenging, there is a large field to park in as long as no one blocks the little entrance to it at the driveway.

So now for our second visit we were in the area delivering donation cakes for an action and decided to eat dinner at the Rusty Cowboy again! They weren't to busy yet and we got right in funny to say got the same table as the last visit. Jason our waiter got got us 2 Coke Zero's in those big old mason jars while we looked over the menu. Bonnie my wife decided to just have a couple of appetizers instead of a meal and to try some of my French fries when I get them with my shrimp and fish dinner. Along with a side of coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce! Bonnie got corn nuggets and they came out first with sides of Ranch dressing. They were hot and very good. Then they brought out her chicken wings with Buffalo sauce with just a little kick to them and lots of meat on them. She loved them, I got my 3 fried shrimp and 3 fried pieces of Catfish along with my small mason jars while we of creamy coleslaw and my extra tartar sauce. Everything was hot and so, so good. Fries were hot and salty but not greasy. And there was even a couple of hush puppies underneath the fries, very good too! We stopped just short of finishing up so we could try some of the Blackberry cobbler we missed the last time, with some vanilla ice cream. It comes in a Mason jar with a spoon. I'm sorry to say, but we didn't like the cobbler, too much cobbler and not enough Blackberries! But will still come back and try some more choices! Jason did a great job!

We had a group of 8 adults who had just completed touring 2 of the Painted Churches, in and around Schulenburg. While our tour guide greeted several servers as we entered like old friends, I don't think that was the cause of their friendliness to our group as a whole, I saw them happily greeting everyone and providing excellent service. Our happy server quickly took drink orders, you can tell when a server is confident in her job and knows the routines as she never wrote anything down but when she returned with drinks, the orders were all correct. She then took orders for lunch, we had a variety of offerings from the menu. I decided on the Tzatziki Salad, a nicely presented Greek style salad with grilled chicken breast slices and some tzatziki with pita points. Others around me had the Rueben and the grilled chicken salad and said everything was perfect. I also heard great things about the home made chicken salad and their hamburgers. And if you feel like your garden needs a bit more color, just step into the garden center after lunch and pick out some lovely plants to take home!

I was pleasantly surprised at the absolutely amazing freshness and quality of the food and modern/light atmosphere of this place (a bit unexpected after a few lackluster food experiences in Schulenberg leading up to our lunch here). It was every bit at good as some of the cafes I've eaten in major cities (where there is heavy dining competition). Mom and I both ordered their delicious chicken salad sandwich, piled high (but not too thickly) with shredded chicken on perfectly baked, flaky (but not too flaky) croissant bread. The chicken salad was a perfect blend of seasonings with a few cranberries for a little sweetness. Divine! Each sandwich came with a side of crispy/perfect (seemingly handmade) chips. Our tour guide ordered a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich which she seemed to really enjoy as well, complete with perfectly buttered and crisp grilled sourdough bread. The atmosphere was very modern and new yet warm and dotted with beautiful antique pieces (be sure to check out the old buffet across from the bathroom doors, gorgeous!). And this place seemed packed with many locals in their brunch attire to enjoy the great food and great hospitality of the wait staff. Behind the restaurant, they also host a beautiful nursery where you can browse under the trees through their fairly extensive collection of plants (flowering and non flowering - we saw some variations of native flowering plants we've either never seen before or don't see often so my mom purchased a few for her garden!), chat with the very knowledgeable and friendly owner of the nursery, browse the little nursery gift shop full of unique and beautiful items, and even visit with the sweet "shop" kitties (who seem to like to hang out near the nursery gift shop entrance) if you wish. All in all, a very special experience at this gem in Schulenberg. We will definitely make this our number one stop for meals (and to buy more plants) in Schulenberg when we return!

Indian and Mexican food as well as pizza, smoothies. And boba!! We tried the "build your own" pizza with the gluten free, cauliflower crust and vegan cheese. It was even better than similar pizzas we have ordered in our city. Our other toppings included chicken, of which there was plenty. No skimping on toppings here. I also really appreciated that we could request the crust extra crispy. I liked the ordering kiosk and that the woman behind the counter was glad to help when we ran into an obstacle. Our pizza was prepared in a reasonable amount of time, and it tasted scrumptious. We also appreciated the kind service. Bonus points for the diverse sports and news channels on tye TVs. It was pleasant and clean with mostly indoor seating. There are a few tables outside as well near a cute red tractor. We are definitely bookmarking it for our next roadtrip stop. Thanks for a lovely meal

Great pizza, over the top service, and a welcome refuge from interstate driving!…read more I ordered a 7" personal sized meat lover's pizza and it was the perfect balance of toppings and cooked to perfection with a crispness of the crust that also had that nice chew to it as well. My dining partner ordered a custom pizza of pepperoni and a variety of peppers. Loved how the peppers were chopped finely to spread out the flavor. As a nice surprise bonus, the owner brought us both a small boba drink to sample. It was my first time trying a boba drink. We really appreciated getting to experience it. Thank you, Rosemary, for taking such great care of us during our visit.
