The art garden was an experience - art and plants in an outside environment. Once inside, we met the owner & artist, Najee Dorsey. He explained they were preparing for an exhibition of his works. Just viewing the art before it is installed makes me willing to come to the exhibit. If you love Black art or just interested in learning more - check out this space.

The exhibit showcases some of Atlanta's finest with high quality, affordable work. The gallery space is intimate but definitely large enough to move around and mingle. The owners are awesome and super enthusiastic about the College Park neighborhood and growing the art scene there. You should definitely check this place out. I know it will be on our regular rotation and I look forward to upcoming shows!

It created a buzz when announced,…read moreprobably because the College Park/Hapeville/East Point area is home to a ton of artists... painters, writers, graphic designers, photographers, those who work in film, etc. The grand opening, held on June 9, 2016, justified the buzz... tons of neighbors on hand, and I for one met a lot of folks for the first time. Several said they lived within 3-4 blocks of the gallery, but I hadn't met them before despite living in College Park for 19 years... I guess that's what good art does, it can bring people together. The current exhibit, comprising works by artists from Atlanta to Portland, is vibrant, with a wide range of styles. The prices are affordable. Credit to the owner for curating a space that feels cozy - it's a smallish room - and presents the artwork in nice light. I expect to be back often.

It was so amazing to see all the nice planes and the history of how delta came into being. The staff at this place are so wonderful and helpful. Don't miss out the attraction of the virtual flight screen where you can pick your destination and see those places in a boarding experience. In the end you get to take photo and get a printed copy courtesy of the museum. You will pick that up in the shop. We thought we could get some souvenir of model plane. But in my opinion the prices are in the order of a first class tickets. There is also outer area with different planes and also the 747 that you can get to experiment inside and out. Overall a great spot to visit by if you are closer to the airport.

Entering the parking lot, you are greeted by two large planes and its tempting to stop and gawk but you'll have a chance to later. Mid-day Thursday, the museum was pretty empty so it was easy to look at and interact with all the exhibits. The first room plays a relatively quick video before opening up the the Legacy Hangar with a couple plans and a children's area. There is an interactive game for plane control signals that was fun! Moving on to the next space is a hall of different types and brands of planes that Delta uses or have used, neat to see them all in one place. The next hangar, Spirit Hangar, has a large B-767 plane, "The Spirit of Delta". Surrounding the plane is about destinations, delta luggage and uniforms through the year, acquisitions, and the flight simulator. It is cool to be able to be up close to such a large plane see the wheels and mechanisms underneath. Up on the mezzanine is where you go through a jet bridge and into the plane to see a little bit of what it was like and learn about the history of the plane. It is full of memorabilia that were fitting during the planes time. After the inside tour we went out to the 747 experience. About half of the aircraft seats are still in tact, and it is cool to interact with the various different types of cabins. There is a cut away of under the plane to see how it is constructed and various exhibits about the plane and moving it to the museum. Outside the plane you can walk up close and personal with the underside of the plane and other planes on site, including a DC-9, B-757, and DC-7B. It was a great spot to visit, the museum gift shop is stocked with a variety of Delta and aviation gifts and clothes. I would recommend to anyone with an aviation or Delta interest.

I find "Brute Neighbors" to be one of the most interesting displays of public art in Atlanta. Most…read morefolks keep their heads down and try to shuffle through in the effort to get wherever they're going. But if you look up in the baggage areas you're rewarded with a creepy-cool exhibit of some of the area's natural wildlife. It's evocative of those atomic era movies with creatures bigger than ever and hungry for human flesh (or maybe just the urge to step on cars and buildings). The lines of ants evoke a feeling of motion, and they produce an uneasy feel with the scale of them to their surroundings. Seeing them helps to brighten the murk of an airport visit.

I mean, here I am, a dude raised on "Them!" and the seminal Joan Collins masterwork "Empire of the Ants," just waiting on my luggage when I look up and "Holy Sweet Mother of God! But if art's purpose is to elicit a reaction out of the beholder, well, then well done, Brute Neighbors. I'll give you four stars just for that. Even if you still creep me the fuck out.

The bathroom has become dreamy, serene and joyful, and I find myself walking in there all the time just to admire the scenery. I highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a muralist. She is a skilled painter; the way she filled in the mural around the skylight and ceiling lights worked perfectly. She has a great eye for color and detail and her suggestions were excellent (go with her advice if she tells you to go for a less saturated tone than you had in mind--you will be glad you listened to her). She is easy to work with, and her pricing is very reasonable. She knows her stuff!

I knew that would be the backsplash for my babies room before I even knew we were having a boy or girl. My little boy is now 8 months old and after receiving about the 100th+ compliment on the mural and I had to come and post a big thank you. Anna was very responsive in the planning stage and was quick to get us on the schedule knowing I wanted to have the room painted before bringing furniture in. It came out better than I could have hoped for and she was wonderful to work with. Anna is super talented and I would highly recommend her.

The shuttle from the airport was fast. We thought we'd have to wait forever since we just missed one as we walked up. Check-in for a complete bus load was quick despite there being only 1 hotel worker checking people in. The room is a king-sized bed with a big screen and a cozy chair with ottoman. The bath is a separate toilet and walk-in shower. The room was clean and comfortable. This is the nicest hotel I've ever had the airlines pay for. I've never stayed in a Sonesta, but I'd give it a shot if I see one in the future.

Then we spoke to another there, a manager who said she would give my dad complimentary drinks when we got back. She said someone would be there. We got back from the wedding and the rude AA Gentleman at the desk absolutely refused and said he knows nothing about it. Terrible service, room dusty, rude staff at the desk and strange restaurant hours Good Luck. We stayed there the July 30th -through August 1, 2026. Terrible time, never again. The ceilings in the lobby have water damage/marks... mot sure what's going on there.
