Last night we had a hankering for some wings. We ordered garlic Parmesan, honey garlic pepper and medium hot sauce. All were delicious! I would have liked celery to go with my blue cheese dressing side. The fries were horrible. Undercooked and mushy. The egg roll was yummy. I would have like some duck sauce for those but they don't seem to include much more that what you exactly order. Ordered ahead for pick up and it was ready when I arrived. WARNING! FRUAD ACTIVITY! Order over the phone for pick up and worker stated for faster service at pick up to pay over the phone. She then repeated my card number loudly I asked her not to say it so loudly, she then tried to say she did it to make sure it was accurate. 5min after my order was placed I received a text from my banking institution stating that a purchase was being made to SHEIN for over $700 and was it me. Just moved to the Mableton area and I have to say these wings are tasty! I had the lemon pepper wet/all drummets and cajun. You can actually taste the lemon pepper and cajun flavors. We placed a group order for takeout by phone and I was responsible for picking it up. We ordered 40 mild wings and four philly cheese steaks. One philly had no veggies, two had no mushrooms, and one was to be prepared with all toppings (this one was mine). I repeated the order to the cashier three times. When I arrived to pick up the order 20 minutes later, the food was not ready. I had to wait for at least 10 minutes before my ticket was called. I checked the food and they had only marked one of the sandwiches (the one without any veggies) and the other three had no mushrooms. It was good that they marked the one box, because the friend that did not order any veggies had an allergy. Unfortunately, the cashier did not write down the modifications that I called in for the sandwiches on the receipt, so my sandwich was not prepared correctly. I had to wait an additional 5-6 minutes for mushrooms to be grilled for my sandwich. My philly was okay, but the wings were delicious! I highly recommend the wings and that is why I chose a 4 instead of a 3 star rating. I want to make it clear that the inconvenience with time would prevent me from choosing Atl Best Wings if I was in a time crunch due to the lack of attention paid to my order. Contrary to their name, these are not Atlanta's best wings. I asked which were the most popular flavors - they said Hot Honey, Medium and Garlic. I got ten of the Hot Honey for $7+ (wings only, no fries). I called in the order and was told 15 mins. Upon arrival, the place was busy, which was a good sign. But, my wings took 10 mins over the quoted 15. 25 mins seems awfully long for a constant cycle of frying wings and tossing them in sauce. While I understand a food business doesn't want to quote long times, to miss your estimated mark by over 50% is unacceptable - especially fried food. As for the wings, the size are on the smaller end of the scale. The wings and drumettes were all about 2.5". The sauce was tasty and the wings fried crisp - med well, crunchy bits down to the bone. I'll give them another chance on time estimates and give another flavor a try. But, if Zaxby's wings were crispier, I'd prefer them over this place. read more
