Visiting from out of town and trying to find a solid spot to kill your hunger can be overwhelming - you really wanna get it right. Pelicana absolutely delivered on that front. This place served up some seriously tasty Korean fried chicken in a tucked-away corner spot with sleek black walls, a cool industrial vibe, intimate lighting, and a spotless feel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming too. They stay open late (perfect after a late night out), and the chicken is legit - crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. I went with the Crispy Sweet & Spicy and the Honey Glazed Soy. The sweet and spicy had a nice kick that was manageable thanks to the sweetness balancing it out - great flavor overall. The honey soy was tasty too, though I wished the sauce was more reduced allowing it to cling better to the chicken getting that extra crispy glossy finish. Service was prompt at this late hour and served as an excellent spot to wrap up a late night with friends. The only minor catch for late night service is the automatic 20% gratuity no matter the party size - something to be mindful of when budgeting. Solid Korean fried chicken in a cool atmosphere with great energy. Definitely worth the visit - deserves 4 stars!

This place saved our night! We were starving and too tired to go anywhere so we ended up at the hotel and searching for delivery options. This was our first time eating from Pelicana and I'm honestly not a huge wing fan so wasn't expecting much. I figured they'd be a little off no matter what since it was being delivered, but I was proven absolutely wrong. I'm not sure what wizardry was at work here, but every bite felt fresh. The food was still hot, the wings still had a crisp bite, and the sauce was spicy/tangy perfection. Plus, the little side of pickled radish was perfect. It hit every flavor profile we were looking for and can't wait to do it again!

Pelicana is something I've always wanted to try, and I'm excited ATL has a halal location! Right next to Masjid Al-Farooq, there is a small parking lot in the front and additional parking in the back. I appreciate the menu being explicit on what's halal and what's not. We had the chicken sandwich, the garlic wings, the half chicken with sweet/spicy level 2 and the Cajun fries. We also got sodas on the house for a review. The food was decent. The chicken was juicy and hot when it came out. The breading on the chicken was crispy but a little thick, and could have used more seasoning. I wasn't a fan of the garlic sauce (just straight garlic) or the sweet/spicy (cinnamon fwd??). The radishes though were awesome, great to cut through the fattiness of the meal. The service was great! Our server Feby was excellent, super friendly and helpful, and checked in with us for what we needed. As a suggestion - the restaurant should be split into two sections (drinking and not drinking) to help with the ambience. For example the party behind us, which kept swearing and ruined our family meal. It would help bring crowds in that otherwise may not choose to due to the restaurants interior.

I really enjoyed the chicken at Pelicans! The wings were cooked perfectly to me!! Honestlyyyy that extra crispy texture... yum. The sweet & spicy flavor was my favorite of the two. The honey soy was good too, just a bit sweeter than I usually go for, but if you love sweet wings, that one might be a hit for you. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The price felt a little high at $21 for 10 wings, but the quality was really solid. The spot itself is cute inside, the staff was super hospitable. We walked in with a to-go order on a Sunday night around 11 pm, the wait was about ~25 minutes. Sidenote: I love that they're open until 3am.. a win for late-night cravings!

We came after 10pm and they have a gratuity notice so keep that in mind. I came around 11pm and there were plenty of seating but once it was around midnight it started to get full. The servers were attentive at times and friendly but they have this QR code system where you can call for your server through your phone but there was no point in using that because their system was slow/delayed so they didn't get the requests in time. Better to uber here because parking is very limited in the back and small spaced. We got the spicy rice cakes and they were perfect portion and spice for $16. We also got some drinks. Soju is $15 a bottle. Overall the vibes were nice for a late night eat.

Great spot! Very cool concept and environment. Menu has a ton of great options but I opted for the soy garlic wings. Super crispy with a great flavor. They were a litttle on the smaller side so they gave me 12 instead of 10 which shows they want you to be satisfied with your experience. A friend had the chicken sandwich which looked great. They even branded their logo on the bun which is another special touch. Wings came with pickled daikon, corn-coleslaw, and salad. (All in a small sauce cup but still very nice) Service was great until the very end it took about 15 mins to get a box and the check. Only reason for 4 stars but would recommend this place. PS: Parking is not the best up front but they do have a lot behind the building.

So we came here after going to big Dave's Philly cheese steak and Publix. We walked in and was sat right away. The area didn't seem to be the nicest. The restaurant was empty so that's ok. It was a Sunday night and late. Met our waiter. Very nice gentlemen. We ordered the combo B with 10 wings honey garlic 10 wings sweet and spicy level 1. It came with pickled radish, fries, cheese ball, coleslaw or something a salad and a bun. Food came. The radish was sweet and good. The salad was good nothing special. The fries were surprisingly good. The bun I tasted was good. The wings were good. Smaller than I thought. The sauces were good. The white sauce with honey garlic was good. 1 dollar up charge. Idk if I'd pay for that again. The spicy mayo was actually better. We were very full with 8 wings left over. I'd come back.

We came here on a sunday late at night around 12:30am and wow it was very busy still. We had to wait a bit for a table of 5. The server put three tables together and said we can sit there, but then another server took a table away and put the 5th chair at the end of our 2nd table. I told them it would be too crammed for us 5 with two big guys with us and asked to have our table back and he said okay and did it. Then a 3rd worker came over and said no and took it away again. Said the need the tables to other guests that are coming. I felt like they were not communicating to each other and we felt a bit crammed. Also A LOT of the flavors were sold out. We were trying to order and they kept saying "choose another one, that one is sold out" that happened 4 times. So we could not even eat the flavors we wanted. We were choosing back ups of our back ups basically. So that was kind of a bummer. I understand we came late at 12:00am. but you are open till 3am. The two flavors we ended up getting were sweet and spicy and bbq. The sweet and spicy was better. They were good though and I like how the chicken was meaty so it was filling for sure. Fries were yummy as well. Also we were out of water and it was difficult flagging someone down to refill our water. I think they needed to hire more staff.

When we stopped into Pelicana Chicken in Midtown, we found far more than we expected. The space itself felt welcoming, soft lighting, Korean videos looping on the screens, music at just the right volume, and a calm that made it easy to stay and enjoy. The menu was larger than we anticipated, but Rita, our server, guided us through with warmth and confidence. We started with the Ham Kimchi Fried Rice (layers of flavor from the tang of kimchi, the smoky bite of ham, and the richness of a sunnyside-up egg crowning it, with a crisp little house salad on the side). The Chicken Fried Rice we enjoyed as well (tossed with vegetables, bits of grilled chicken, and scrambled egg) simple but very satisfying. For dessert - and yes, we went there after deliberation, the Cheese Ball Mochi (hot, golden shell giving way to molten cheese that stretched with every pull) was decadent. Rita made the entire evening great. Attentive without hovering. Gracious with her suggestions. And genuinely happy to see us enjoying ourselves. Rita was the reason the meal felt not just good, but memorable. Thank you, Rita!!

Great atmosphere, greeted when we walked in. Our server Sieny was great. The food was really great! The chicken

4.5 The batter for the crispy chicken was very crispy and the meat was super juicy and tender. Got half sweet and spicy + half garlic wings. Size wise they were a bit small, but tenderness made up for that. I've had better flavored KFC but the crispy to juicy ratio was very good today. Mild spice wasn't very spicy at all , would get level 2 next time. Good service, ambiance was a vibe but little too loud for me. Pricy for size

The chicken wings were just okay, but the main reason I came was because the place was open so late, making it convenient to try Atlanta's specialties. It was a limited-time experience! Sweet & Sassy Wingz: Their signature flavor. The chicken was over-fried, and the meat was a bit dry. Most importantly, it was coated in a thick layer of sauce, so sweet it was almost too sweet to eat... L. Pepper Wet Wingz: As an Atlanta specialty, this chicken wing was relatively interesting. The initial taste was an intense lemon sourness, almost making you shiver, followed by the warm spicy aroma of black pepper. If the sourness could be toned down, it would be quite good. The chicken wings were still overcooked, and because there was no sauce, the meat was even drier. But I don't know if this is a problem or part of their specialty? Season Friez: Although it was hot, it was already soggy and soft. I consoled myself, "Just grab something quick..." Side Salad: A meatless version of Caesar salad. The bread was so hard I couldn't even stick it in with a fork, but thankfully the lettuce was fairly fresh. Google Maps shows they're open until 3 AM, but they actually don't offer dine-in service after midnight, and the area outside is practically homeless's paradise. Please be careful!

This was my last stop before leaving Hotlanta! I wasn't really in the mood to go out my last night,…read moreso I scrolled through a long list of restaurants and decided on wings. The name Hungry AF caught my attention--I figured with a name like that, the wings had to be good. The restaurant had a casual sit-down atmosphere with colorful tables and chairs that gave it a fun vibe. I ordered the Mamba Lemon Pepper wings with a side of vegetable hibachi rice. My food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The wings definitely did not disappoint! They were perfectly sauced with just the right balance of lemon pepper flavor. I actually finished every single wing, which is something I almost never do! The vegetable hibachi rice, however, wasn't my favorite. I was expecting a traditional hibachi-style fried rice, but it tasted more like pre-cooked frozen rice. It also had a sweetness that just wasn't for me. I'm glad I gave it a try, but it's probably not something I'd order again. Overall, if you're craving flavorful wings, Hungry AF is worth checking out. The wings were the highlight of the meal and a great way to end my Atlanta food tour!

The Fruit Punch Peach Lemonade taste just like what you think it would a mixture of all those flavors together and it was overally sweet wasn't my favorite. What made this situation even worse was the way the manager handled it. Instead of showing concern, taking responsibility, or making a genuine effort to help resolve the issue, he was dismissive, spoke to me in an unprofessional manner in front of other customers, and ultimately walked away while I was still trying to discuss what had happened. I understand that mistakes can happen, but losing an item that had already been found and acknowledged by staff is a serious issue. More importantly, the lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism shown by management was unacceptable. No customer should be treated with disrespect, especially when trying to recover a valuable personal item. My experience left me feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and completely unsupported.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for. The employees working were super nice and helpful. They were quick to take our orders and brought out our food very fast. I also liked that they had a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, this seems like a fun place to grab a drink with friends.

In fact, the building itself is actually pretty damn small for a strip club. Only pointing this out because Magic City Kitchen is just a to-go counter inside Magic City itself. Since I came in the afternoon when Magic City just opened, I walked in for free with no cover. Anyways, ordered some Justice Magic wings and fries. They're not the biggest wings, but they pack quite the flavor punch. I can see why they are revered by so many people! And despite only technically ordering 10 wings, I definitely got like around 15. Also, despite being way out of place here (i.e., the only Asian in the building), everyone treated me really nice. Never felt I was not welcome at all while I was eating my food at the bar. On top of those extra wings, the cook gave me a free baked wing to try as well. I guess Southern hospitality even extends to the strip club! I'm not sure I would go out of my way again to eat these wings in-house, but it was definitely a cool experience to check it out. At the very minimum, it's worth a takeout order.

The wings were good however they were so tiny. The fries were good as well. Overall we did go at…read more6:00 on Friday so we knew it wouldn't be busy but the vibes were just not quite there.
