This is our 11th year as part of the Rhythm family and each year just gets better than the last. I could not have picked a better studio for my girls. From the staff to the facility to the training -it has all been such a positive experience for our entire family. Becca and Dani (as well as the rest of their staff) work tirelessly to ensure that the dance instruction the students receive is first class. We call it our Rhythm family and that is exactly what they are. The relationships my girls and I have made will last a lifetime. I feel incredibly blessed to have such a fabulous studio in our area.

The teachers truly care about their dancers and push everyone to grow while still making classes fun and supportive. I learned so much here, not just about dance but also confidence and teamwork. Back to childhood. I…read morecame to Dance Stop at this location (now relocated to 4400 Roswell Road) and was under the tutelage of Mrs. Kathy (for beginners), Miss Amy (adv. beginners), and for a little bit, Miss Forsberg (pointe). I adore Mrs. Kathy; she is an incredible instructor and so good with all the kids. She is very kind and always encouraged students to perform at the utmost of their ability and it was understood that it is always a pleasure to have Miss Kathy's praise. Miss Amy, however, was a different story. She was always 15 minutes late, and came to class with her hair in a ponytail. She would then proceed to take another 5 minutes to put up her hair and yell at the kids whose hair didn't stay in place or wasn't in a tight bun. (I found out later that she brushed her teeth at the beginning of every class...and it took 15 minutes. Hm...?) We spent another 15-20 minutes stretching, doing lots of exercises from before and then -maybe- learning one new move. I didn't learn much after several months, and that was when I started to dislike ballet from the boredom of every class. (FYI Amy left a while back. Hmm, I wonder why?) I moved onto pointe, and I loved it under Miss Forsberg (we called her "Madame"), until my toes started bleeding and I had to stop dancing all together. They say that you have to go under all this training for muscle memory, and yes, it does take muscle memory to become a good ballerina, but I thought it excessive. The studio also offers jazz and modern under Ryan Hall. What do I think? I think you should take your money and time to Atlanta Ballet, not here. I've been to both and AB is far superior in formal training and seriousness.

It's really easy to spot the location as you approach the shopping plaza from the south, and it took me less than 5 minutes to get here from I-285. The studio is nicely decorated, giving a comfy, welcoming feeling when you enter. This is in stark contrast to some studios I've gone to that are basic and drab. There is only space for one class at a time, but the floor is huge! I'm thinking there would be more than enough room for a class of 30 people. There are barres (the portable kind) for hosting ballet classes, and weights of all sizes for fitness classes. The floor is kind of slippery, so if you tend to dance barefoot a lot and have soft feet (like me - definitely slipped a couple times lol) I'd suggest to at least wear some jazz footies with a grip bottom. There is ample cubbie space to store your belongings during class. There's even a good amount of waiting room for parents if you're looking to hold a class for children. Also there is a dressing room in addition to one unisex bathroom. On my way out, I spoke to the owner who was extremely friendly and mentioned that the studio has several time slots open for rentals at the moment. Dance instructors - check this place out!

UPDATE: I was…read moreinvited back for another class and wanted to go back to see if anything was different from my first experience. While I left with enough time, due to all the lights on the way, I wasn't arriving when I wanted, early. I jogged on my way in with one minute to spare and I was greeted and complimented on my leggings instead of being scolded to having arrived right on time. TIP: Always arrive early for your clas so you have more than enough time to find which bike you have been assigned. Since I don't know the layout within the studio, i.e. how the bikes are numbered, it did take me some time to find my bike and get started with my workout (that's on me). I loved the cycling portion, again, and did have the time to mention to my instructor that I had been in a car accident a few weeks previously that I am still healing from, low back/sacrum subluxation. She kept an eye on me and gave me suggestions if she knew specific movements would utilize that area. The yoga part flowed my better compared to my first experience. Maybe I was more rusty the first time than I believed or the instruction today helped me understand what was next and how to flow into it was better. Afterwards, the instructor asked how I was feeling to ensure I wasn't hurting, I wasn't. When I walked back into the front I was approached by their owner, Denese. I learned she was there specifically to speak with my based on my first experience. I am thoroughly impressed with how she sacrificed her Saturday to be there just to speak with me to get feedback. She is a lovely lady and cares about the people who come through her doors. That for me is a huge deal and I appreciate her time and thoughtfulness. I am so glad I gave Spenga a second chance as I feel like it was all in all a Five Star experience this time around. If you are looking for a workout and love spin, strength and yoga, this is an easy fit. Even if you don't like one part of the workout, as I did prior to ever trying it HERE (spin) they have a way to ensure you a great experience and great workout. They have won me over in that respect. Try them out!!! ------------------------ Just tried my first a spenga class and I am a fitness fanatic and am surely judging this harshly. When I arrived I was not greeted and after a few minutes and me refilling my water bottle, I was asked to sit and wait to get started. I arrived exactly at the time I was asked to. Going into it, I knew I would like the strength and yoga portion and was apprehensive for the spin part. I actually really enjoyed the spin portion and found the strength portion not pushing me hard enough. I love yoga and am not a stranger to that world and found that the yoga portion did not flow well due to the verbal instructions. Overall, I feel like I got a workout, but not a workout that I was looking for that would truly push me the way I am wanting. I may have considered returning for another go if their prices weren't so high. The studio was beautiful and immaculate as well as the air smelled of citrus. All in all, I think many would find themselves a solid workout here, however for me, I don't think it's my cup
