We left with the impression that we would receive a follow-up email explaining how to use the package and, more importantly, that there was no time limit on when we could use the classes. Months later, when I came back to use the remaining classes, I was told the package was no longer valid. This was never clearly communicated to us at the time of purchase. The classes themselves are alright, but not the best value. What really bothered us was how the situation was handled we felt misled and, frankly, scammed by the owner. Clear communication and honesty go a long way, and unfortunately, that was missing here.

I've taken 2 classes here: BANDS with Lauren and TONE with Oksana…read more BANDS was too much cardio for me -- I thought it would be more focused on strength training, but it was predominantly cardio WITH bands. It was also too fast for me to keep up, and we changed moves so often I was lost sometimes. Lauren had great energy and was very friendly. TONE is strictly strength training, which I appreciate. Oksana was a good instructor too. She clearly explained all moves, and demonstrated everything. If I had to find something to critique, it would be that she kept saying "you know what's coming next" and I didn't.. it was only my second class here and my first of this type. The studio and equipment is clean and updated. The music is a bit too loud. There is a retail space next to the front desk. The front desk staff has been super nice both times! I wish they had TONE classes in some of the the early morning slots on weekdays (the first class of the day) It seems they only do these later in the day when I'm working, and TONE is the only class I'm interested in.

As a past pre-professional dancer, I really lost a big part of my life when I quit for college. The Atlanta Ballet offers some of the most solid ballet education classes that I've taken, apart from the dance classes I grew up on. The Adult Open classes are great for any dancer of any age, size and level. I myself enjoy the beginning/intermediate level and the intermediate level. I recently took the Tuesday night intermediate ballet class with Carol, which was hard for me to get accustomed to, since she has a different training style than I grew up on. But she recognized that and was very helpful. The studio itself is a bit outdated, located on the second floor of the Buckhead Centre plaza. There were two dance studios (that I could see), two dressing rooms and a large waiting area. The rooms aren't exactly soundproof so the music from the other studio leaked into ours pretty often. But you got used to it fast. Overall, a great class and experience at the Atlanta Ballet. I will definitely be back!

We found Dan from Dan and Company Studios from an online search, as we were looking for individual…read moredance lessons for wedding this past September. He was so easy and laid-back to work with and was realistic about what we could learn and handle for our first dance at our wedding-we previously had no dancing experience. He taught us three basic steps, how to move around a dance floor, how to open and close the dance. We practiced to our first song and felt confident going into our wedding night. My dad, mom, and I were also able to squeeze in one lesson before our wedding, which my parents (my dad especially) really appreciated. Lessons were $50 each and on the weekend, which was exactly what we were looking to pay for some basic moves and confidence. I highly recommend Dan and Company for those couples who want to learn some basic dance moves before their upcoming wedding. He recommends 3 lessons and we ended up doing 4, which was enough. Dan is the best and so nice!
