I called 4 times and left a messages. I was at my dog sitters and she is an 80 year-old woman who fell down a hill and I kindly asked the two gentlemen who were sitting in the truck if they would help me and they said they can't because of company policies so I contacted your office and left several message with no return call. It was only an act of kindness to help me because I am 74 years old and I couldn't pick her up. I didn't Order the grass to be cut as I was just there picking up my dog and they were out there getting ready to cut the grass. After 10 minutes of sitting there looking at me and Mary, sitting on the ground, waiting for somebody to help, they started cutting the grass and one guy just sat. There was talking on his phone. My homeowner's association pays this company monthly for landscaping services. I have been here since January 2018 & have yet to see them do anything but blow leaves at the entrance. I have asked several times that overgrowth next to my building be cut back as it is an eyesore and an hazard. My patio gate is completely blocked by weeds and the jungle-like foliage suffocating the entire area. Their negligence has created a habitat where snakes and other unwanted wildlife are thriving. Snake sightings on the sidewalks are a regular occurrence and one of the snakes actually made its way into my home this week. This company continues to take payment for services which are not provided. The owner has been informed and is not interested in correcting the problems or coming up with an action plan to fix them. read more

Our mgt company hired this company to service our townhouse community. Terrible, terrible, terrible. They don't mow the grass every week. We're still waiting for pine straw which was supposed to be put out months ago. Common areas were fertilized by the worker grabbing a handful of granules from the spreader and throwing it around. Common grassy areas were cut with a weed whacker!! Grassy areas look awful. Since January they have never weeded. Weeds got 5-6 feet high before they weed whacked them. The supervisor has been contacted numerous times; he talks a good game but never delivers. Their crews are in our community for about an hour then out they go! Awful company. read more

We switched to ALG on 1/1/16 and the service was good for the first 3 months. Service went downhill shortly after and the landscape of our community is the worse it has even been. Some of the items to be on the lookout: 1) Items are not maintained in our community as it should be 2) Lawn mowing is not done properly throughout the community. We do have different grass types and we asked that all is done at the same time on multiple times. This is done at their discretion and ignoring our request. At times, our Fescue grass is several inches tall. Never had this problem with previous landscape company. You will be required to follow up multiple times with your point of contact to have issues corrected. Goodluck! read more

I am a property Association Manager. I have worked with a number of landscape companies over the years. Consistency and communication are always then issues I have encountered. However, this is not the case with ALG. While things are never perfect with any company or service the key to providing superior service is communication and response. Anytime an issue arises at a property it is fixed on or before the next service day (depending on the urgency of the issue.) All of the employees I communicate with are quick to respond and informative about what is going on. I have personally worked with Randy, Bart, Bradley and Jesse and recommend all of them without reserve. read more

I would give them a 0 if that were an option. They are supposed to do the landscaping at our condo community but only blow leaves off the pavement. Everything is overgrown, causing safety concerns. Some ivy and hedges have almost covered walkways. It looks awful. When they do show up, they generally stay less than an hour but never do real landscape maintenance. This is about the worst landscape company I have ever had the displeasure to work with. Not only do they not do a good job maintaining the landscape they even destroy plantings. They used gas shears to cut down dormant hydrangea plants because the untrained crews thought they were dead. The butchered beautiful American Boxwoods by pruning them into the shape of a box. Some of these plants were over 20 years old and are now almost dead. They don't cut the grass, they scalp it to the point we now have red dirt where green grass was. The crew show up and sleep in the truck while on the property, they are rude to owners and do as little as possible while claiming to have been on the site for hours. If you are considering using them; don't. If you have just hired them go ahead and send them a 30 day notice and find someone else. I promise, you will regret the day they ever set foot on your property. read more
