Many other estimates were running us $2,500+, so we were happy to have found Silver Axe. They were timely, professional and knowledgeable during the quoting phase and while on site. Our house featured above ground power lines that came close to the oak tree in the front yard, and they handled this well to ensure nothing happened to our connection. The tree in the back and subsequent stump grinding was done well. I do wish I would have paid the bit extra to have them haul the chips off, but I decided to fill in some spots on the fence line with the wood chips, and they made their way into my grassy area eventually which became a pain...so lesson learned. It was clearly an emergency situation and he was able to have a quote done quickly and a crew scheduled for that Friday morning. After everything was cleared out they put the big things back in place and left it as clean as you could want after felling a 150+ year old tree. It was really big.
