I didn't stay at this hotel but I did hangout through "resort pass" by the pool for several hours. It was 20$ on resort pass to have a pool day and in my opinion it was totally worth it. Hotel was advertised as a 4 star. I would say 3 stars at best. I have stayed at several hotels in the Perimeter area over the past year including other Marriott brands Aloft, Courtyard and Doubletree, Crown Plaza Riviana. My stay was decent, I was able to check in around 9:30 am for a fee, Older hotel that has had some renovations, not recently though but at some point over the last several years Pros Clean Rooms Hot water temperature was hot Early check in for $50 which I thought was reasonable Large television's in room, looks to be 50-55 inches Fridge, Microwave, Coffee in room Extra outlets installed for electronics Indoor pool Outdoor pool Decent fitness center Cons $25 for parking which I knew in advance when I booked, so no surprise Lighting in room needs to be updated to LED instead of the old yellowish bulbs Hotel can definitely use renovations and updating Overall I enjoyed my stay. Came here for a big Christmas holiday party for our company, overall staff were friendly throughout the event, but the quality of food they served here was just "okay", totally shocked that they didn't even provide a single vegetable. I can only imagine the bill must have been easily $30K. The rooms are okay. I did check out the pool and workout area, and those do seem pretty nice. Easy check in and available high level room. This location is part of Marriott chain close to local restaurants and easy check out. Room was clean and comfortable in terms of size and they always have extra pillows which I appreciate. I do not recommend this hotel. It was very disappointing--especially considering the high price. The environment felt run-down and unclean. I specifically booked this hotel to enjoy the pool, but it was a complete letdown. The pool had black mold, slime, and a strong odor, with no sign of proper chlorine use or maintenance. It was dirty and clearly neglected, so I didn't even feel safe enough to get in. I asked for a refund, but instead was offered breakfast and a $20 parking refund. While I appreciate the gesture, that's not what I was looking for. I simply wanted a fair discount on my stay because I paid good money and didn't receive the experience I was promised. Before arriving, I called and was told the pool was clean and ready to use, which clearly was not true. I tried to speak to the manager multiple times and was told each time they weren't available and would be in the next day. Now I have to wait until Monday just to speak with someone who can help. This has been very frustrating, and I truly hope management will make this right. read more

Not a great hotel, unfortunately. Please note it's clear on the other side of Atlanta, which isn't necessarily a knock against it. Just know that it might take you a long time to get here from the airport, especially during rush hour. There is a BART stop a couple blocks away, but it's a couple flights of stairs and a hill so not ideal if you have a suitcase. The hotel itself is okay. The room was not great. Several outlets in my room did not work, one lightbulb was burnt out and another lightbulb was flickering incessantly. My room faced the highway, so there was a bit of noise. They do provide earplugs, which is a nice touch, though I found it to me mostly white noise. The noise issue I did have came from inside the hotel. Someone kept banging a door all night long, and there was very little soundproofing so it was quite loud. The deadbolt on the door also didn't work. The food situation is a bit odd. They do have a restaurant onsite that claims to do lunch and dinner. I tried to get lunch one day and it was very off the cuff. One person running back and forth, trying to find a menu, find silverware, take my order, etc. I will say the Caesar salad and tater tots I had tasted good, but it took way too long to get them. You could also apparently order food through the app and have it delivered (to your room, or to one of a few spots throughout the hotel). I wasn't in my room, but I couldn't figure out which location to select (and the front desk person couldn't figure it out). Then when I tried to order I got an error. A colleague was able to successfully place an order, but it took nearly an hour to get her food (just a salad). I did have access to the M-Club lounge, as I was Guest of the Day (didn't know that was a thing, lol). The lounge was nice, as it gave me free access to the breakfast buffet. The espresso machine wasn't working when I was there, though, which was a letdown. Other than that, I didn't see anything going on in the lounge, other than a quiet place to sit and maybe some snacks. So not sure what the big benefit was. read more

I'm reviewing this Marriott as an event venue rather than as a guest with a room. The staff here is on point, every morning someone greeted me with "welcome and good morning". If I had any interaction with the staff it was always with a smile. The best thing about the location is the accessibility of the meeting rooms...they are not hard to find and are on the first floor. Also, they are near the bar and dining area. In general, getting to the meeting rooms was very easy. They also have a tented pavilion that was also easy to find. While all the meeting rooms were seemingly at the center of everything it also seemed private...the only people in the area were those in our group. There is plenty of parking and never had any trouble finding a spot during my visit. The only thing I found strange about this location is the parking arm is at the entrance of the property not the parking lot like other hotels...there is no way to get to the front main lobby (or exit the property) without encountering the parking arm. As I understand, it there is a 30min grace period before you're charged. Overall, a pleasant experience having a meeting at this hotel. I certainly hope this is the location for our event next year. read more

I've only been here for work travel and conferences, and I've enjoyed my stay every time. The front desk staff are phenomenal, friendly and so accommodating. Also, we generally Uber everywhere, but used the shuttle a few times and the shuttle driver was so kind. He ran us to dinner and back, plus to the corporate office a few times. The rooms are spotless, bed is comfortable, and ample space to work. The conference spaces are also clean, well stocked with drinks and snacks, plus a pretty good lunch. Fitness center opens early at 4, which is awesome. Tons of great restaurants close by, we really enjoyed Lazy Dog, Joey D's, and Fleming's. read more

We hosted our Christmas Gala at this property. While planning and preparation seemed to be going well, several significant issues occurred on the day of the event that left us extremely disappointed. Upon arrival, my mother's room was not clean. The bed had not been made, and the sheets appeared unchanged from previous guests. When this was reported to the front desk, the response we received was dismissive and unprofessional. Additionally, my own room had a toilet that ran continuously throughout the night and would not flush properly. I arrived around 2:00 PM to check on the event setup, even though I had already stopped by earlier that morning to meet with my decorator. Unfortunately, the tables were not set up as discussed and promised during planning. During the gala, the buffet food was dried out and lacked flavor. No one confirmed with me when the buffet should be set out, which affected food quality. The banquet manager assigned to our event did not check in with me at any point during the event or dinner service. I did not see him until after the gala had already ended. Although he later mentioned trying to locate me, he never entered the conference room or asked anyone for assistance identifying me. Communication throughout this process was also very disappointing. The individual who handled our room block A was unfriendly and unresponsive. My emails were professional and courteous, yet I received little to no professionalism in return. Additionally, I emailed another representative E last week regarding the Marriott Bonvoy points for my booking and have sent two follow-up emails with no response to date. The only positive experience was with the accounting department, who did make adjustments to my invoice, and I appreciate that effort. Overall, I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, poor room conditions, and inadequate event management. This experience did not meet the standards I expect from a Marriott property. At best, this hotel is 3 stars for me. I came for a conference, so just ended up here. Check in was easy but these days nobody ever explains anything about the hotel to you anymore. Maybe I am just getting old and holding onto previous customs. Hotel staff in the past used to tell you a few things about the hotel like when breakfast starts or instructions for wifi or anything else interesting. That didn't happen. Hotel room was clean, with a nice view. Hair dryer wasn't working properly and some USB ports also not working. Asking for those things to be fixed would have taken awhile, so I just didn't bother. Morning AYCE breakfast service was very good for $20 but honestly wasn't worth it for me. Lots of containers did not look well cleaned and were sticky. The cold plate to keep fresh fruit cool definitely hadn't been cleaned for some time. Many meals were provided by the conference which the hotel catered and nothing really to write home about. Signs were often missing as to what was being served, so I was guessing a lot about what I was eating. The nail that sealed this coffin shut for me was the very odd breakfast where broccoli, asparagus and sautéed mushroom were being served. I know these days help is hard to find, so the question becomes, what are companies going to do to try to attract workers? This certainly has been a run of the mill experience but can't say that recently I've experienced anything spectacular. Maybe this is just the new norm I will need to live with. read more

Horrible check in. Rude staff. Dirty Hotel that smelled like marijuana. We are Bonvoy members that pre paid our rooms so that our kids had a joining or connecting rooms. The lobby itself looks nice and modern, however our room was a different story. First, the AC said the room was at 72°and set to cold, yet it felt like a sauna. When I checked the vent it was blowing hot air. Second, the entire room was dirty. "Pill like" objects found around the room (I had my 1yr daughter with me so I had to get in my knees and check the entire room), spots on walls, door frames, as well as the ceiling. The bathroom had hair from someone else on the floor and on a picture. The inside of the bathroom door looked like the paint was swelling and it was completely damaged. Stayed here at the Marriott for an educator's conference and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Hotel was easy to find and provided ample parking. My check in experience was fine and I found my room to be comfortable and inviting. There was even a small pillow spray left on the bed to scent the sheets. Small things like this are why I love staying at the Marriott in any city. They get it right every time. Breakfast buffet is offered for $18.95 and I think its worth it. I stayed at this hotel for a business trip- the first room they placed me in had used Zyns (nicotine pouches) from the prior occupant plastered to the side of the night stand. We asked to be placed in a new room. The front desk girl did not GAF at all- no apology at all. Placed us in a new room, which we thought was cleaner until we discovered the toilet was full of what seemed to be vomit. We went back down to the front desk and asked for yet another room. Front desk girl literally didn't even look up from her computer screen. The third room was acceptable. I will give them credit for leaving us an apology note, chocolates and a free drink coupon in our room the next day, but at that point we had no plans to eat or drink in the hotel and tried to spend as little time there as possible because we were grossed out. 1 unclean room is a mistake, but putting customers in a second unclean room means this is a habit. Ants! The whole hotel was infested. We had to change rooms after finding ants marching through the headboard of our bed. We learned that several others in our group and another had the same problem. The deck around the outdoor pool was crumbling, and there were only two lounge chairs and two deck chairs for a hotel with more than 500 guests. Nothing like the picture on the website. There are no pool towels at 11 am. Ice machines on several floors were not working. Instead, they had signs telling guests to go to the bar for ice. read more

As a Titanium Elite with Marriott, I only stay at Marriott properties. I stayed three nights on a business trip, and because I travel a lot for business, I am a very low maintenance guest. All of the staff was very friendly, and accommodating, and it's nice to get a room upgrade based on my Marriott status. My room was large, the bed was comfortable, and even though my room was not cleaned everyday, due to COVID, if their was anything that I needed, the staff would take care of it. the bar area is quite large, and it was nice after a full day of meetings, to stop off and enjoy a cold beer, and watch a game. The bar staff was friendly as well. I will stay here again on my next business trip. read more

I live ITP, but the Perimeter mall/Dunwoody is a nice little break for me. Asked for a room with a tub a couple days before check in and got offered a complimentary specialty suite upgrade. Suite was spacious with a boardroom style table and a balcony that spanned the length of the room. The Le Meridien nearby has a more design focussed vibe that feels less dated. Breakfast was not offered but on a pre Covid stay it was great. You can basically get the full breakfast buffet while sitting in the more comfortable club lounge. read more

This hotel is a total dump! So glad I didn't pay and used points..upon checking into my room, the little down swing lock thing was busted right off! Like someone ripped it right out of the wall!! Upon further review the room could have been way cleaner, there were crumbs on the floor, lamp was dusty it was horrible. I've never asked for a different room but this one was that bad. They moved me to another floor where the rooms had been redone. I am a platinum elite and am supposed to be upgraded why they have me that crappy room initially is beyond me. read more

Great location! Close to shopping, restaurants, coffee, etc. Nicely appointed lobby and rooms. Restaurant and bar in the lobby and open from 5 into the night. Counter Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. There is a pool that is partially inside and partially outside, something for everyone. I liked that feature. The parking is tricky, as you much get a parking ticket to enter via mechanical arm, and must pay after 30 minutes if you are not staying. (We had friends come to the hotel to visit) otherwise, parking is plentiful and cost $15.00 per night. Which is extremely affordable compared to other hotels we've stayed at. Last thing, depending on where your room is located, you can get a bit of highway noise. This can go on throughout the night. It's not unbearable, but can be a bit annoying when you're trying to get to sleep. All in all, A nice stay in a great location. read more

This place was awful. We had a group staying here for a World Series. Our room was not ready, our phone was unplugged, plugs for cellphones didn't work, AC broke, we had to change rooms, the refrigerator in the next room didn't work, the hallways smelled horrible, the ice machines leaked everywhere, the computers in the lobby didn't work and no one knew how to use them. There was one washer and dryer in the whole hotel. All in all it was a horrible experience. We will never stay here again. We asked if we could get comped due to all the issues and the only thing they offered was free breakfast. The hotel was really nice and the staff was wonderful. Every Tuesday they have a DJ with drink specials. Great times. However, be careful. The drinks are really expensive if they aren't apart of the drink specials. AND if the waitress comes to you they add an additional 18% service charge to your bill that has nothing to do with an actual tip for the waitress. The breakfast have made to order omelets! I recently stayed at this hotel and I was excited to be staying at the Marriott and it was not the experience I was hoping for. There were multiple family reunions going on during my stay, so there were people littering the entrance and children constantly at all times running through the hotel unsupervised. Once we got into the room the television didn't work we had to wait for maintenance to come and fix it. Our final night there we were out all day and getting to the room housekeeping had left our room door open all day. We informed the front desk because housekeeping did not leave us any towels either, their answer was oh sorry. I will never stay there again!!! I have never experienced anything like this at a hotel. I recently stayed here while in town on business. The hotel was great. Good location near the MARTA train. They also have a shuttle that will take you within two miles of the hotel. So when I hear the name Marriott I automatically picture a fancy hotel with more amenities than I need and a pretty hefty price tag. Granted I never actually stayed at one until last night. There was some construction going on while I was staying there which I will hand it to the staff of Marriott for sending out that heads up email. It still sucked to be woken up by drilling but it would have sucked more if I wasn't prepared for it. So my main complaint (reasons why I gave 4/5 stars) is because the WiFi wasn't complimentary. It's can't recall the last hotel I've been in that didn't have free wifi. Even the cheap looking hotels had free wifi. Also there was no microwave in the room. But other than those two things I had a great stay in a comfortable and clean room. They even let me borrow a iPhone charging cable since I left mine. read more

No mini fridge in rooms, the fan in the bathroom does not work, the tv kept randomly shutting off while we were watching it, only 2 (small, thin, cheap) bath towels in the rooms. When I called down to the front desk to get 2 more, they advised that we already had two in our room. When I said I still needed two more, they brought me wash cloths. I would not stay here again and would advise anyone I know to stay away too. I will also be posting this on Google. Disappointing experience. read more

Stayed overnight on business. Easy to find but a lot of construction in the area. Plenty of parking but need a room key to get in and out. Lobby is very spacious and the restaurant / bar seemed active. Had a drink but wasn't overly impressed with the menu, typical overpriced hotel bar food. Three elevators, only one was operational. So always a wait. Rooms were so-so at best. Indoor / outdoor pool, but was not overly inviting. Maybe it's more lively and attended in the summer, although this fall day it was in the 90s and there was one person out there, no staff, and again, didn't really stand out as a place to relax and enjoy yourself. Almost seemed to be an after thought. The gym was decent but there was no water. The cooler had a sign saying there was a water advisory - so basically "don't drink it". But no bottles or anything put out while that issue is sorted out. Would look elsewhere next time. read more
