One of the nicest hotels in Downtown Atlanta. I came both for business one week, and for a staycation with my kids and it was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of gorgeous artwork throughout. I loved the style and designs of it all was just a masterpiece. The rooms are VERY spacious with gorgeous views of the city (floor to ceiling windows) which is dreamy to look at in the evening. The bathroom is super Luxe with a huge tub and great shower. So clean, and very modern. Amenities like the gym, which was very clean and had lots of selections including Peleton bikes, and lots of towels. The Hartley restaurant was also DELICIOUS. Staff was very kind, and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again! read more

The staff gets 5 stars!! Very aggravating to walk in and the lobby is full of fans and taped up - no bars open - yes they had a flood and can not help it but it still impacted our first impression and I was hosting a family for a birthday. Now - the team here - AMAZING ! Marlin at the front desk , Ace and. Cornelius went above and beyond to make this picky little person happy - AND THEY DID !!! I look forward to coming back when the hotel is not under construction! The company should provide a small discount because of the issue and that would have made it perfect !!! This is a great hotel if you want to stay in the midtown area of Atlanta. The surrounding neighborhood is well kept and walkable. The hotel's entrance is off of the main Street in a semi-private drive. So it's easy to unpack luggage. There is a fee for valet, however I noticed a couple of public lots that were close by. They offer two bar areas and a restaurant. The restaurant actually has very good reviews- if I get back I will have to try it! A nice little surprise was the social hour they offer daily. It was from 5-6 pm and included wine and a snack. The building itself is in great condition and the decor is updated with an urban flair. Our room, on the 9th floor had a floor-to-ceiling window which was very nice to see the skyline - especially at night. The room was very clean on arrival - and it too, had updated decor. The shower and bathroom area were fairly large. The staff we encountered were all friendly. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. read more

Valet was fast and affordable if staying on property but I would use them for events in the area too. The lobby is a selfie Dream and smells amazing. We stayed at the Kimpton Shane for our anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed. After check-in, our bags were immediately taken and placed on a cart, and we were greeted with champagne before being escorted to our room. Such a thoughtful touch! The room itself was beautiful with absolutely gorgeous views. We made it a full staycation and spent the entire weekend enjoying everything the hotel had to offer. Both of the hotel's restaurants were excellent....we tried them for breakfast and dinner, and every meal was amazing. Another highlight for me was the gym. Working out while taking in that stunning view made it such a unique experience. Overall, the Kimpton Shane made our anniversary so special. The staff, the atmosphere, the food, and the little details all came together to create a stay we'll never forget. I am so sad to write this review. When I first checked in, I thought this place was 5 stars! It was beautifully designed, smelled great, great room, had the cutest Christmas decorations, complimentary coffee and wine depending on the hour, holiday activations and more. However the longer I stayed, the more problems I ran into. It began with our TV. We were supposed to be able to smartcast to the television and couldn't get it to work the first night. The second day, we called someone up for assistance. They came up and said they would be back to solve the problem and didn't end up returning. I went down at the end of the day to ask for more help. They sent someone else who ended up switching us to a new room (he was great by the way, both technicians were super nice). With this situation, it let me know that the front desk staff overall lacks a sense of urgency which would continue to be the thread between all the issues I had during my stay. For anything I needed throughout my stay, it took hours to be addressed, or it never happened at all unless I had to go downstairs and ask again. Whether that be for a certain snack at the mini bar, a menu, anything! Even when I did go downstairs, there might be a staff member at the desk, not helping anyone, but they still would take 10-15 minutes to get to me and never acknowledged that they would be with me in a moment or anything. Then, one night in our hotel after coming to eat somewhere off the property, we get a call from one of the managers downstairs asking if we'd left our bag at their on site restaurant. Confused because we didn't eat there, we said no. We didn't think much of it, but at checkout, we received our final bill, which said we owed $249.55, which was incorrect because we paid in full for our stay before arriving. Turns out, $270 was charged to our room by someone unknown, and we were expected to pay the unexplained charge. After 40 mins or so, the manager ends up removing the charge. However after I check out, I see that my card was still charged for $249.55. I called back for over a week trying to get help on removing the charge and everyone I spoke to said they didn't know where the charge came from and that I had to be transferred to the finance team to get it removed. I emailed the finance team, I called on multiple occasions and not ONCE did they email or call me back. Today, the charge is still on my account. I had my bank call to get more info and they were rude to my bank...Not to mention, I left my shoes in the last hotel room I stayed in, and I asked for housekeeping to check and see if they picked them up, it took multiple calls for me to get an update on if my shoes were found. They never were. I'm assuming the next guest behind me took them smh. I'm leaving out a bunch out of respect for some of the parties involved but this stay was supposed to be a quiet luxury getaway and turned into such a headache. The communication, sense of care and urgency were so so poor. They only get to keep a star because I truly do think the property itself is nice. They just need a stronger team. read more

I stayed here for 4 nights in September of 2025 for Prog Power USA as it is right next to Center Stage. If you don't want to walk far from that venue, this is the place to stay. For what I paid, it was extremely clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the refrigerator in the room was very small. The hotel has a restaurant on site and available valet parking that was very affordable in comparison to other hotels in the area. It's also within walking distance of the High Museum of Art and various restaurants. I plan on staying at the Kimpton Shane again when I return in 2026. read more

I stayed here for two nights last week and for the most part it was a good experience. I had booked my reservation through the IHG app for a total of about $400. I was told that there would be no deposit and my full balance would be charged at check in. However, a week before my stay my credit card was hit with a $200 charge from the hotel. I had not received any communications from the hotel or IHG so I called the hotel and asked about the charge. The first two people I talked to had no idea what I was talking about but the third person I was passed to said it was the deposit for my stay. I said I shouldn't have been charged anything until check in but this person went on about some summer sale policy and long story short they needed the deposit. Whatever. The remaining balance was charged at check in. Since I booked through the IHG app I went to the hotel's website to look for info on any incidental holds for the stay. The IHG app is notorious for not providing info on these holds and sure enough, this hotel has one but at a ridiculous policy of holding $150 - per night. The max for the hold is $450 but I've never been to a hotel that held more than $250 for a stay. Basically I had an extra $300 tied up on my credit card because of this and it didn't clear until three days after I checked out. The room was nice and had a modern aesthetic to it. A mix of angular and rounded furniture with lots of small lamps which were somewhat annoying because I had to turn them all on to illuminate the room. There is a small light under the bathroom sink that automatically turns on when it senses motion. The shower had low water pressure and it took several minutes to get warm water. The minifridge was very loud and hummed constantly. One side has stocked refreshments while the other side is empty for you to put your own drinks into it. This side is very skinny and could only hold three small bottles at most. I couldn't connect to the hotel's wifi network so I had to rely on my cellular data instead. If you're out late, the front doors lock at midnight and you need your key card to get inside. There is a sensor by the door. The elevators also require your keycard to operate. The hotel has a pricey restaurant and no complimentary breakfast (other than coffee in the lobby) so I suggest you find your meals elsewhere. There are a bunch of restaurants west of the highway at the Atlantic Station Shopping Center and you can walk there or take a shuttle from the nearby MARTA Arts Center Station. If you're looking for something more affordable, I'd try the Whole Foods Market down on 14th Street. It's only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I rode the MARTA train so I didn't need to use the hotel's parking which is valet only and costs $50 per night. The Arts Center Station is only one block south from the hotel and one way tickets are only $3.50 each. I might stay here again if I was visiting the area. read more

Once inside , check in was smooth and efficient thanks to the staff. I was thankful to have a clean room to go to after a long day of traveling. I treated myself to some In-Room dining. I got the shrimp scampi. It was not what I expected, but delicious non the less. One feature that I was very excited about what the hydration station they had on every floor, where you could fill up personal water bottles with filtered water. This was our second time staying at the Kimpton Shane in Georgia, and once again it was an excellent experience. The hotel is stylish, clean, and very comfortable, but what truly stood out was how pet friendly they are. The staff went above and beyond for our dogs, providing beds and food bowls which made the stay feel extra thoughtful. It really meant a lot that our pets were treated so well. The only downside is that there's only a small area in the front of the hotel for the dogs to relieve themselves, but overall the kindness of the staff, the modern rooms, and the special touches for our pups far outweighed that. The Kimpton Shane has definitely become a go-to for us when visiting the area. Highly recommend. read more

I so enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From check in until the moment I checked out, I had a great experience. The staff I interacted with were warm and friendly. Throughout my stay, I would receive text messages checking to see how things were going. There was a light fixture in the room that was not working, and maintenance came and took care of that very promptly. I loved my room, the ATL skyline is my favorite (I'm biased), and I could see that from my window. The decor is modern, I would definitely stay here again. Kimpton hotel has been my go to for a very long time ! I love the service and the attention to detail in their rooms. They really know how to take care of their guests. This hotel is centrally located and you can get any where in Atlanta. Close by are the arts center, piedmont park and access to Marta ! The hotel offers art focused design highlighting Atlanta's cultural heritage. I loved the contemporary style of the room and it was very clean . The best part was the shower it had the perfect pressure and plenty of steam. I really enjoy doing yoga while on vacation and there was plenty of room for me to do that . If I was going say where they could improve on at this location would be letting the guest know when they check in on how the valet works when picking up as well as when a guest ask if there are places to eat in the area after there restaurant closed would be helpful. When I ask the front desk agent if there were restaurants open in the area he said no without saying let me get back to you or give me a few and I will find out . He just said no it's Sunday. After checking I found several restaurants open late in the area. It was very disappointing that I had to figure it out . It's important that when a guest check in that you anticipate there needs and if you don't know the answer you figure it out and trust me the guest will remember how you treated them. Above & beyond customer service from Jamie, Cornelius, the valet lady and the two front desk employees on staff on New Year's Day 2024. These individuals were attentive and responsive to requests prior to and post check out. The hotel was festive as it was during the holiday period. Valet lady was informative and shared parking options - valet @45/day with in and out privileges or adjacent self park for $22/day. Rate would be less in self park if only for short stay and all rates listed upon entry to parking deck. She also offered parking in front to unload bags as we decided. Lobby was well decorated. Happy hour wine selections were available with decent red and white options. The red was perfect as checked in at front desk. My high floor request was accommodated with a 14th floor room. Room was beautifully decorated with nice view. Armoire in room was a nice touch and the king size headboard was amazing! I did not dine on New Year's Eve as had other plans. The front desk personnel did advise of festivities taking place. Noticed a decent sized crowd as we exited. Dining area is two levels and offered brunch on New Year's Day. Overall great experience and recommend for visitors as centrally located to midtown area including the High Museum, south of Buckhead and near I-75/85. I finally made it to Atlanta! It has not disappointed. I found "Kimpton Shane Hotel" on Yelp and loved the vibe. But did the pictures do it justice? Pulling up it is a bit confusing. There are two buildings right next to each other, so it took a few to get our bearings. The valet outside, wasn't too friendly and almost seemed bothered by us and the lady who pulled up behind me. Heading to the counter, we were greeted by friendly receptionist. They got us checked in quickly and we were on our way. Outside we realized we needed a cart for all our stuff. The receptionist was already bringing one. Nice right? She was actually bringing it for the lady parked behind me, who was really friendly. I asked for one, but the receptionist said, there was only one. The lady parked behind me and I laughed at that. This big fancy hotel and only one cart? So I waited for her to bring hers back, which she did and she made sure I got it. After heading up to the room and looking it over, it was beautiful, but small. Not one I'm use to in one of these top hotels, but I will make do. After all was unpacked, I explored. The bar on the first floor was nice, but again, small. It did not live up to the expectations of this hotel. Finally we check the gym. That was perfect, equipped with a water gun for heavy workouts. All said it done, I like the hotel, I don't love it. Maybe my standards have grown with all my traveling. Or maybe, my room could have been bigger. read more

Warning, if you like courteous customer service, reliable hotel amenities, a quality room, STAY AWAY. The gym was completely closed (under renovation?) during my entire 4 night stay. The room was located on a very noisy floor with light from the lights outside pouring in at night. Worst of all, this hotel did not send me a folio for business travel / reimbursement. I've called back 4 times, provided my email the same number of times, and the email still hasn't come through. On top of that all, when calling in to get to the bottom of what's going on the, the rude woman hung up on me! This was our first stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and my husband and I enjoyed our stay. All staff we encountered (valet, check-in, housekeeping, Aveline staff, and greeters) were very welcoming and courteous. I loved that our first evening we were greeted in the lobby with free lemonade and cheesecake bites. The next morning there was hot coffee and cold brew. Nice touches!! Feedback: Parking costs were not communicated correctly among all staff. For example, the valet staff misinformed us about parking in the garage. We spoke with Corey at the check-in, and he shared the costs of parking in the garage. He added that some of the valet staff were new and were uninformed. However, I specifically asked about valet costs with Corey, and he stated the cost was $45. I asked, "For the entire weekend?" And he said, "Yes." My bill reflected that I was charged $45 per night. Please ensure that all staff can communicate the parking options and cost correctly. Since we had several meetings that included meals, we ended up wasting a lot of food, since the small refrigerator was already full of items that were chargeable if we indulged. We would have appreciated a fridge that could keep food throughout our stay and a microwave would have also been helpful. I also found myself needing an iron. I did not ask for one from the desk, I used the hair dryer...it somewhat worked. Again, the hotel is beautiful, the room was very nice and comfortable. We did not have the opportunity to visit the on-site restaurants but it looked like a vibe. Enjoyed my six night stay. Upgraded to a nice corner room on the top floor even using IHG points, was only 140K points with breakfast included. Large room with a nice walk-in shower. Comfortable king size bed with city view. Able to stream Netflix and Amazon prime on the TV. Also, see your bill on the TV and check out and request for late check out on it. Room service was fast even on Xmas day. Hotel restaurant had good eating options. The food is mostly good. Aveline bar opens at 5 pm and had the same dinner menu as the restaurant. They make great cocktails there! The gym has two peloton bikes, three treadmills, a couple of elliptical machines and some free weights but not enough to get a good chest workout. What a cool place with gorgeous rooms and views, super clean, great staff, but the views from the room, downtown or phenomenon. I can't say it's pricey for Atlanta but the eclectic design, warming bar , excellent food , this is a real gem and where I could just stay while enjoying Atlanta a night and all the food nearby . This is the second 4 star hotel in the 150-200 price range that I've stayed at in Midtown Atlanta; I can basically say the same thing about them - great walkable location and very comfortable beds, and I'd go back with hesitancy, as the hotel could be wonderful with better maintenance and customer service. The hotel has a great atmosphere - classy, upscale party. I love the style with the bar on the mezzanine. I appreciate that the hotel is only 2 blocks away from the Marta station across from the High Museum of Art. I only WISH the hotel had a pool, maybe a roof top space. We didn't use any of the common areas aside from the restaurant for breakfast. Everyone seems very friendly, from the valet in, however, getting anyone on the phone is a different story.. I called in on the way in that evening to confirm that the bar was open until Midnight, and to find out if the kitchen was open until close. I tried to hit the number for the restaurants - but it takes you to someone's voicemail, likely in catering, who doesn't call back. I tried calling the front desk and couldn't get anyone on the phone for over 10 minutes - and this continued to be a problem across the weekend. Eventually, I did learn that the bar kitchen closes with the restaurant kitchen at 9pm. Our original room had a broken motion light in the cabinet under the sink - lying on the towels. I didn't even realize it was a light until I saw it working in the second room. The room could have been cleaner, as there was a hair pin left on the bathroom floor. My biggest hesitancy on returning is the situation we woke to at 7am on Saturday morning. It sounded like a jack hammer going off for a couple of minutes at a time over and over again. I looked at the clock and figured it was a construction site next door, and grumbled at it, but then the noise started again and did not stop for over 20 minutes!? The wall and fixtures were shaking. I called the front desk to ask what was going on, and could let them hear it through the phone. They said they would send an engineer up to check on what was going on. This person didn't seem to know when the engineers start their day. I called back in when the banging stopped, right before 8am, to let them know that if they hadn't sent an engineer up yet, that they wouldn't hear anything by our room anymore. This second person let me know that no engineers had been sent, since they start their day at 8am, but that there was no construction going on nearby. I asked if they were going to figure out what the noise was to keep it from waking us again on Sunday; I was offered to change rooms instead - but it had to be right then, as they needed to get our room ready for some other soul to deal with the noise the next morning. Without brushing our teeth or showering, we threw on our clothes, and consolidated our stuff to be ready to move to the new room when the key was brought up to us. Once in the new room, we realized what all was missing/broken in the old room, but more importantly that this room didn't have a working phone or shower - the shower knob couldn't be turned and the drain cover was propped on the wall. I had to call downstairs from my phone - and it rang and rang for ages.. on our way down to talk to the front desk, they finally picked up. We explained the situation, and asked for a different room, so we could get ready for our day... because time was now ticking against our plans for the day. The person that gave us the key said they were fully booked, so they didn't have another room to move us to - my choices were either to have maintenance come up to the room, or to move us back to the old room. They asked us to go down for breakfast while they had maintenance and housekeeping give the room a through look over. When we returned from breakfast, the shower was in fact set up, and the room smelled of Clorox. The phone still wasn't working, toiletries were missing, and they overlooked a burned-out light on the side of the bathroom vanity/sink - but nothing worth complaining about. We were eligible for late check-out, so we let them know we would take them up on that on Saturday, and the next morning, we decided to try to get room service, but the app wasn't working - we kept trying to add the burger to the cart and it would error. As expected, no one would pick up the phone from the restaurant, and when we called the front desk it rang and rang. We got dressed and only heard back while we were headed down asking us to try again... it still didn't work. We had breakfast, went back to the room, and despite the Do Not Disturb sign up and late check out allowed, we got a knock from housekeeping. I had to tell them we had already notified the front desk. To be fair, Chantel, the front desk manager did try to help, but it took a lot of effort, so I'm unsure I'd risk trying to stay again. read more

The attention to detail, follow-up text messages, and friendly customer service I received from Jaquel from day 1 were extraordinary. The service recieved from both restaurants/bars at different times throughout the day by servers Kenyetta, David, and another young man (tall, lighter complexion, long dreads, slight gapped tooth smile) were impeccable and very attentive. I even appreciated the manager, Samantha, stopping by our table to check in on our meal/stay. The only thing that was missing was accessible microwave to reheat my meals. None in the rooms or common areas of the hotel. That needs to change. Overall. we will be back as I felt that I was treated with a loving touch from family. Had a great stay at the Kimpton Shane in Atlanta during the recent Beyoncé concert weekend. Stayed Friday night, 8/11. Initially I had an issue with the hotel room originally assigned as it was not clean. However, the hotel was very responsive and got me into a new room ASAP. The new room was clean ( to my standards..I'm a bit of a germaphobe). The hotel social hour is a nice touch and part of the reason why I usually enjoy my stay at the Kimpton brand hotels. This social hours was especially nice as they had mini vegan cupcakes, homemade peanut butter cups, red wine, and rum punch which were all reported to be some of Beyoncé's favorite snacks. The chef who curated the menu said she spent time researching all of the items which showed that she went above and beyond to make the weekend special! The manager on duty this weekend was extremely welcoming and even gave us to go cups for our rum punch. She really went the extra mile. I would definitely stay at the Kimpton Shane again, but mostly because of the staff....the made the hotel! read more

We were among the first people to ever stay at this hotel. We experienced a fresh, attentive staff and ideal accommodations. Initially, we booked one night, but extended our staycation another night after the great experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lobby was welcoming and perfectly set the tone for connecting and socializing. I enjoyed a glass of wine one evening during their social hour. It was a comfortable set up and about 9 of us gathered and chatted for a bit. I chose to self park because I needed to leave frequently for my itinerary and didn't want to chance waiting on valet. But each time I passed valet, they were pleasant and warm. The restaurant serves a great meal and has a wonderful staff to make recommendations. The lobby staff also recommended some local attractions and have directions, which I always appreciate. This will be my top choice for my next staycation! read more

I got to visit the Kimpton hotel recently and loved the classy boutique-feel to it! There is a parking garage and valet at the front. The hotel had an art deco look to it - gold elevators, abstract lighting structures throughout. The floor to ceiling windows in the rooms give a great view of ATL. Buzzing refrigerator continues to be loud. Night staff are rude. Solution "unplug it" Which translates to move a heavy marble cabinet. Hung up the phone on me after I made the complaint. Very weird. Otherwise, decent hotel. The food is good. Valet is nice. Decor is cute. read more

The Kimpton Shane Hotel is the BEST hotel I've EVER stayed at in Atlanta!! Every time I come back I will ALWAYS stay here! Like guaranteed. Highlights: 1. The staff. Literally every staff member I met there from the second I walked in to my final day 5 days later was so incredibly kind, hospitable, helpful and lovely! 2. The room was beautiful and spacious! I had a King City View room and that view was gorgeous! Also, the BED?! Spectacular!! Never slept so well in a hotel! The bathroom was also gorgeous and spacious with great lighting. The shower is perfection. 3. Thick walls= QUIET! I'm a light sleeper so a good thick wall is such a gift to me! I slept SO well and I couldn't hear a damn thing in the room next to me, across the hall or down the hall! 4. Food is pricey but DELISH!! Drinks are super yummy, their bar, restaurant and lounge is EXTRA sexy and their happy hour daily from 5-6p in the lobby is amazing!! Nice touch, Kimpton! Loved this hotel and I will most certainly be back!! read more

I just can't say enough great things about this lovely hotel! It's very modern looking and it super clean. The staff be it the counter staff, bar staff of bellhop or concierge they are sooooo nice. They give you some room and are the type of hotel that lets you do your thing. If you need help they are more than willing but they don't push help on you. The hotel offers $45 valet marking or $22 a day self parking. Both reasonable for downtown Atlanta and it's nice to have an option. They offer two bars with nice selections. We didn't eat so I'm not sure about food but if I had to guess I bet it's amazing! The rooms are just the right size. And have nice little extras like a light that turns on in the closet when you open the door and a little ledge to keep your drink or phone when you are looking in the mirror. A nice movable mirror in the bathroom that you can bring to the living area to do makeup. Most mirrors are attached and you can do that. My only tiny complaint is the rooms have mood lighting and are a bit dark. The frig and snack area in the room offers something for everyone! Love it!!! And it's pet friendly which is amazing!!!! Can't wait to stay their again. And did I mention the location?!? Easy to get to and has an entrance off the busy street. How thoughtful in thief design!!!! read more

A Disappointing Stay at Kimpton Shane Hotel I recently stayed at the Kimpton Shane Hotel (1340 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309) for three nights over Veterans Day weekend, expecting the high-quality service associated with a four-star hotel and my Amex Platinum/IHG rewards benefits. Unfortunately, I experienced several issues that impacted my stay and left me feeling that this hotel aligns more with a 2.5- to 3-star experience rather than the advertised four-star standard. Valet Service On arrival, the valet staff was attentive but at times made my wife feel uncomfortable with unnecessary closeness and eye contact. Although the valet's job is to be welcoming, this felt excessive and unprofessional. We tipped for the service, but the focus on our comfort should have been prioritized over personal engagement. It was the shortest man who was inappropriate. Front Desk Check-In Upon reaching the check-in counter, there was an awkward moment as one staff member did not acknowledge us. Thankfully, another front desk employee promptly greeted us and processed our check-in. However, I was disappointed that my Amex Platinum benefits weren't clearly reviewed, and no effort was made to check for a potential room upgrade, which is often a courtesy at comparable hotels. Room Condition Once in the room, we noticed some oversight in amenities: two bottles of conditioner were provided, but no shampoo, and the television was unplugged with a non-working remote. I reported this via text after receiving a welcome message but didn't get a reply until the next day when I mentioned it again in person. Although the engineer eventually addressed the TV issue, the response to our requests could have been more attentive. Breakfast Service On Sunday morning, I found a piece of sharp plastic in my grits. I reported this to the waitress, who informed the manager. He apologized, assured us that kitchen protocols were being checked, and offered to cover the breakfast cost. However, when However, when the bill came, the server indicated that only the food was comped, not the drinks. This left us feeling as though there was a disconnect in communication between the manager and the serving staff, which affected the overall dining experience. Departure At checkout, we again encountered the valet's overly personal attention towards my wife, which both she and our friend found uncomfortable. Professional courtesy and boundaries are essential, especially in high-touch services like valet, and the interaction left a negative impression. Overall, despite some polite and attentive staff members, the inconsistencies in professionalism and attention to detail throughout our stay created an experience that felt more like a 2.5- to 3-star hotel. I hope the management addresses these concerns to bring the property in line with the high standards of the Kimpton brand. read more

Very nice new hotel, however some staff need major training. Check-in took so long, Ja-Quel needs more training. Bar: We had drinks at the bar on our first night. The bartender was sitting and reading behind the bar! She was not nice when we asked for drinks, just let out a sigh. She never asked if we needed another drink, when we asked just another sigh. Unbelievable! She just sat reading. No conversation, just a pissed woman. Note: See photo. There was no soap in 2 of the 4 bar restrooms. Room: When we got to our room the fridge was so loud, it was impossible to relax. We had to unplug it. Nice & roomy, good view. No extra toilet paper. No battery in clock. Pillows so uncomfortable. Room temperature you could not control well. It was hot, then freezing. Nice water station in hall. Kitchen: We had a nice breakfast at Hartley's. Complementary coffee in lobby every morning. Valet: The valet at this hotel was amazing! Everyone so pleasant, fast and very reliable. read more
