I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

I waited 36 hours but never heard back, so I called again and spoke to Stephanie. The leak is actually from a spot which ComfortEagle had previously removed a pipe from and patched. She promised me it would be repaired within the next three days. Since then, I have had a contractor supposedly scheduled to come work on the house; he didn't show up or contact me. I have repeatedly called and emailed Stephanie and have heard no response. I get the sensation that the contractors they work with are all focused on big jobs in the area. If you're a little client, find someone else.

This gentleman and his company agreed in October 1, 2017 to paint the exterior of our home. Mr. Callahan agreed to take payments after the project was complete if we agreed to pay him a lump sum of half down. Considering he had just done our roof the previous year, my husband and I naively thought we could trust him to complete this project. He and his employee who came out only a few days, did partial prep work, pressure washing with too high of a PSI, and destroyed parts of our cedar siding--which have since had to be replaced. They also used latex paint instead of a stain based paint on our cedar siding which now needs to be completely redone. After coming both scarcely and sporadically throughout the month of October, he and his employee never did any more work after October 31st, 2017. We had perfect painting weather throughout the month of October and most of November and even the first week of December so there was absolutely no reason why this project couldn't be completed within the 4-5 weeks Mr. Callahan agreed. We left numerous phone calls, voicemails, text messages, and even a Facebook message begging for an explanation on as to why no one was coming out to complete this project which we had already put down thousands of dollars down on....with no response. We finally had to resort to magistrate court in Cobb County, Ga due to the incomplete and lack of work on our home after we had already paid Mr. Callahan and Georgia Roof Repair $3000.00. Mr. Callahan did, at least, show up in court. We agreed in mediation for less than what we were requesting because we have continuously wanted to resolve this issue amicably. However, we now regret not skipping mediation and going straight in front of the judge for $3800 which we were requesting including court cost and additional damage to our home. True to history, Mr. Callahan never came through on his end of the bargain we agreed to in mediation and never paid us what he agreed. And, here we are, now with a court-ordered judgment against John Callahan/Georgia Roof Repair. We have tried to go about this entire ordeal diplomatically, legally, and are finally--8 months later--resorting to leaving an honest review online and through social media describing our incredibly disappointing experience with this company. This is very unfortunate to us as we are hard-working people and are just trying to update our home for our family and children to live.

John had came by to finish the roof earlier in the day, he claimed he finished as much as he could, and securely tarped the roof since there was gonna be storms later that day. It was not even 5 minutes after he left that it started to down pour. Water started leaking in the one of the rooms that he had just repaired. Within 20 minutes entire room was flooded and the chunks of the ceiling was just falling down everywhere. There was water, insulation, and sheetrock everywhere. Police came out, the fire department came out, but John never came by. We called him immediately as the ceiling started leaking, but he didn't even bother to answer his phone. He finally called back and claimed that he was already so far out of town and that he would be there in right away, 4 hours passes by, but he still did not show up. Finally around 8pm he decided to come back. Of course when he came he had some excuse as to why he was late. But really there is no excuse for the damage he had cost us. I'm not sure how this guy was even in business, I know we were not the first customers he scammed. Please STAY away from him!!! He will leave the job half done, or leave you in more damage then what you started out with. ALSO ONLY GAVE IT ONE STAR JUST SO I COULD POST THIS REVIEW. DON'T BE FOOLS THIS GUY DESERVES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
