These guys were great. I'm new to biking, and couldn't figure out how to tighten my handle bars. They tightened them for me and even moved them to a more comfortable position. Didn't even charge me. Rented a Trek Fuel EX 9.7 from these guys one Sun whilst in Atlanta. They were very helpful even to the point matching the fork & shock pressure to my weight and fitting the bike accurately. Price was $80 for a day, they generously offered for me to return the bike next day to maximise riding time. Bike was in great condition with new tyres and clean drivetrain. Had to drop bike back late same day due to chg in plans and they had closed the shop but quickly opened up to let me in. Good guys, hope to see them next time. read more

These guys helped me manage my decades old Sears bike. I had no problems for a year with their help but it was finally time to give something else a try after the pedals were falling apart. I've been to the shop multiple times and wanted to share my experience after my first purchase visit. Jon and Paul at APB are friendly and look out for your needs with patience. They also go out of their ways to do to a professional, complete job and make sure to find and present what's compatible for you. I picked up a used Bianchi fitted with quick release wheels and seat, and 3x7 Shimano shifters. Jon even replaced the slightly worn pedals, moved over my u-lock, tossed in a water bottle and bottle holder and was very, very thorough with maintenance. After living in town for a while and visiting a few shops, this is the only one in Atlanta I've come back to over and over. I can't say how awesome this shop is. There is nothing short of a miracle that they can't make happen. And they were able to make a miracle happen for me. I was interested in a 2017 Kona Roadhouse. I had been told that they were unavailable, but would contact me when they were. I have never been drawn to a bike as I was to this one. They informed me that the bike had been released, and that Kona had produced such a very few amount of them that my chances were non existent. Basically, I had a better chance of finding a cure for cancer using the ingredients found in bologna. As I began to give up hope, and looking into other options, I got a phone call from Paul. They noticed that Kona had located 2 available in my size. When they placed the order, there was only 1 left. It arrived yesterday, and they had it built, and ready to ride immediately. Kona limited the number of bikes for this particular model to 50. They understood my passion for this bike, and felt the same as I did. They wanted to be apart of something special. They worked a miracle by making my dream a reality. If there is an opening for bike shop sainthood, I nominate them, St. APB! read more

I went into full bike buying mode and was just not getting along with the process, especially with certain LBS attitudes in the greater Atlanta area. Found a few bikes on my narrowed down list and made another run at the shops. Finally came to APB and it all worked out splendidly. Purchased a bike (for bike-packing) and APB took care of me with maintenance advice and what I needed to get me started on a two week multi-state shakedown ride -- and it all worked! After I completed the ride, they serviced the bike and now it's ready for another multi-State run. They've taken my calls when I had questions during my adventure (like how to properly prep the bike for stowage travel) as well as on future options to personalize my ride. He had the bike he had promised over the phone and was happy to let her test-drive it when we got to the shop. Very helpful, friendly staff. Knowledgeable. I came in for a helmet, they gave me lots of helpful information about the bike coalition. I believe they offer discounts to members of the coalition, I biked there from my house, so I don't know if there is parking, but I didn't see a private lot, so I would say there is probably street parking but no private parking. They sell bikes, helmets and bike accessories. They fix, tune up, and more. Cute, clean, quaint store. I will definitely be bringing my bike here for my future cycling needs. read more

I just took my YT Jeffsy in for a creak that has been annoying me for a couple weeks. I was worried it would be a mystery creak, but one of the mechanics ( I believe his name was Lee), had the main creak fixed in about 10 minutes. The silent BB lead me to another creak in the rear linkage which he fixed in about 5 seconds. Its also worth mentioning that YT is a direct sales brand (therefore no bike shop sells them), and those guys didn't give me any grief whatsover. Everyone was super friendly, and I can't believe how quickly they fixed my bike. Also while waiting I was looking around the shop, and they have some absolutely incredible deals. Probably the best place to get a full sus ITP. This will be my intown bike shop moving forward. read more

I recently took my bike into another bike shop due to some creaking and was told that it was almost guaranteed to be the lower bracket. After dropping it off and waiting a week for them to get around to re-greasing the bottom bracket, I picked it up and went out for a ride. Unfortunately, it was creaking just as much as when I dropped it off. While I was out on my ride, I stopped off at APB to ask them them what they thought might be the problem and explained what I had tried to this point. They were incredibly nice, threw the bike up on the stand, wrenched a few bolts, and virtually eliminated the creaking in all of about 5 minutes. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and accommodating. The other guys didn't even think, or bother, to check anything other than what they were charging me for. APB will be getting all of my business from now on. read more
