They're very arrogant, and their customer reps have been made to lie. Whatever ypu do , don't purchase a firearm and have it sent there for pickup. They charge $41! Then say,"it's been that price for 10 years" Um no! Just you arrogant bunch of jerks. Everyone else charges $25 for the same service. You just seem to think you're of the elite. All the staff members were good. But Ryan was a cut above everyone else. Not only did he know his job, anyone could tell that he was dedicated and loved his job. The service is horrible and they are all rude and disrespectful with the price to shoot a rented gun. Plus you can't bring your own ammunition. So they force you to buy their over priced 9mm rounds. My fiancé and I went in rented a Glock 17 and one box of bullets. So we were in there maybe 20 minutes total. The guy said it would only be around $38 total for both of us to shoot. When we were done and came out and it was time to pay the total came out to be $78. Talk about a up charge. I would not recommend anybody go to this gun range and honestly they need to be looked at for their inflated bogus prices that they hide from you all the way up until it's time to pay you. I'm from Kentucky and that the gun range is all over my state. The price is only $20 for you and whoever else wants to shoot and that's it plus you can bring your own ammo. What are these dudes on? I'm saying a hard pass and they can kiss my ass. Never again! And I wish the review stars had negative stars cause I would give them a -5 stars. read more

Hidden fees! Nice range but pretty underhanded to hide credit card fees. If you are going to charge for credit card usage that should be told upfront. To tack on a hidden fee is dishonest. Be up front. I won't do business with dishonest people. read more

i've come to this range and retail shop a dozen times over five years. I've come here to become a better gun owner, a safer gun owner, and a better shooter. I have taken classes here. All they have done is make me feel like a dumbass. I'm Not talking about the every day staff behind the counter they are always great. I'm talking about the managers and the instructors. Arrogant and rude, even insulting. I honestly believe more than one have PTSD. Find a different range IMO. read more

My favorite range to shoot at in the metro area. 40 yrd lanes for your rifles. They allow double taps, or you can rent full auto. They don't sweat you about your stamps when you shoot NFA items. The team there is helpful and the pricing is fair. read more

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I am not sure what one of the reviews was referring too by saying the the owner was "rude". My wife and I have spoken with the owner on several occasions and he is a very pleasant and courteous young man. He has never been rude nor disrespectful with myself or my wife. I am not sure if it was a different owner at the time but this is a great shooting range and I love the fact that they are open on Sundays! I don't feel comfortable having the range so disorganized however overall it's a great facility though I just think they need more focused Management Also there's a lot of kids looking at the range as one word a movie theater. As a conceal carry gun owner, I've used this range many times to hone my skills with some target practice. The staff is always very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. There seems to never be a wait for a lane (when I've gone in). Prices are reasonable for lanes. This range does have lanes for pistols and rifles as well as numerous pistols and rifles to rent. Their selection is nice with a wide variety. I will say, if you don't own and have to rent/purchase everything, it can get pricey quickly. This range also has a gunsmith for any gun issues/repairs. You can purchase firearms as well. This range has numerous safety classes, tactical training classes, and does offer specials. I would highly recommend this range. read more

Best range I have ever visited. As a Georgia resident who goes to school in Auburn, I made the drive over to visit one weekend after prior bad experiences at a range in Columbus. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by Robert who was with a customer, but said he would be right with me. I called the day earlier to check if they had a Glock 23, and made the drive the next day. The facilities are clean, and it's just a very nice building. I can't recommend this place enough, it was really the first positive gun store experience I've had, other places seem to be stuck up and not interested in you unless you're a regular. With the ammo shortages, it seemed like they also had a pretty good supply of most calibers. Give them a visit, you will not be disappointed. read more

So i called a week ago for a BCM charging handle. I was quoted 49.95. I told the person it was 10.00 over retail and I was told that they dont have to justify pricing to anyone. I went there yesterday and wantef to buy it but was quoted 54.95. I explained about the difference in price and the man got very defensive stating that they pay more than 39.95 for them.turns out he was wrong they pay 33.oo . I bought it and left. Called the owner today and he is not very nice. I advise everyone. Stay away. They price gouge. I will leave it there. read more

As the other reviews say, this is a fantastic place to shoot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can tell they believe and love what they do by the amount of knowledge and attentiveness they show to their customers; regulars and 1st timers alike. I took a group of Germans who were visiting the US for the first time and from the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The staff helped us select a weapon to rent, showed us the basics, stayed professional and friendly all while keeping safety top priority. We showed up 30 mins before close and they happily allowed us to shoot and stressed for us not to rush. I will be returning to them again soon and recommend that you do also. read more

You will love this place. The memberships are a little steep and the lane time can be as well, but if you can afford it this place is the Cadillac of shooting ranges. Staff is extremely professional, and I had a lot of fun going here to target practice with my pistols. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in shooting. If you are new to indoor ranges like I was, youtube or google general range edicate so you don't look like such a rookie your first time. No pressure here though seriously. Lots of fun. read more

I've been a range member for over a year and just renewed for another year. Since I joined, another range was built in PTC which I drive by on my way to Atlanta Range & Ordnance. The main reason is because of the overall friendly and safe environment to shoot. The staff is very knowledgeable as I've had two of my guns worked on by their gunsmith. I've also taken one on one shooting lessons from Larry which have been a great help. Other gun ranges in the area are there to sell first, and then be a gun range. Atlanta Range & Ordnance is a range first, then a place to buy a gun second. It shows! read more

I purchased an annual membership when the range first opened. It was an easy decision for me as the location is great for those of us who live in Newnan, GA and Coweta county. The facility is top notch and it was worth the wait during the construction phase. Plenty of ammo on hand and their inventory has grown nicely. I'm reviewing this place after a two years so I'm relying on memory. It was the first time I had ever shot a handgun. I attended a beginner's safety class with my sister and niece. We were the only people in the class but the instructor (the range safety officer) was thorough and answered all of our millions of questions. After the class, he helped us to pick handguns to rent and accompanied us to the range where he walked us through everything we needed to know about loading, firing and safe handling. He was patient, helpful and encouraging. The facility was comfortable, clean and spacious and the prices are competitive. Some might say that ARO is expensive but they're in line with with other gun ranges in the area. The staff was friendly and polite. The young people working there were respectful, knowledgeable and made several suggestions that helped us to save a little money (I really appreciate that). I've since been to other places where the staff members were much less engaged with the customers and a bit dismissive of women. We went back to ARO a couple of times and found the same quality of service but we have all moved to different locations in the metro area so traveling to Newnan is now longer practical. I would definitely recommend this place if you live in or near Newnan. read more

I am new at firearm ownership so my husband scheduled me a private lesson with a gentleman named Larry. My private class lasted 3 hours long; 2 hours in lessons and 1 hour of actual shooting. Larry was very patient answering my many questions, and was very thorough in teaching me gun nomenclature, making sure I know when the gun is loaded or empty of rounds, and proper stance and handling of my gun when shooting. I left feeling very comfortable in being prepared, much more so than before taking his class. Tuesdays are Ladies Day, so I'm sure I'll be a regular for target practice at ARO. Very nice range . Very nice people . Great selection of rentals . You cannot use steel cased ammo which is the one bad downfall to the whole place . Don't really get why that's an issue . If you're reloading ... Use a magnet to separate . Just a thought . read more
