Good service, and what I like is that, I could find the ammo that I need that I can't find at other stores

Much better pricing than the ranges or the box stores. They may be a bit out of the way but they do ship products.

Been using them for years when we lived in Georgia and seen them at gun show in Washington DC. Still great service and great prices.

So I hate to leave a bad review but enough is enough. I'm an avid shooter and frequent ranges…read morepretty often. Just moved to Douglasville and decided since this location is close, I'd check them out because I actually needed help installing a part. I called the location and was told "Our tech is at lunch but he will be back in 20 minutes if you want to swing by". Awesome! I headed that way and when I got there, it just seemed like a bunch of kids working. No hello, no nothing. I get to them who never asked if I needed help and they are just staring at me. I explained what I needed (taking off a spring clip) and was told "We don't have that tool. Go to Gables". Gables is actually an amazing place and the guys are awesome so I don't know why I didn't go there in the first place. So I left. A couple weeks later, I went back to Stoddards for some range time since Gables doesn't have a range. Once again, no hello, no how can we help you, nothing. I ask the guy about renting a range just so I could site in a red dot and he goes to someone else then comes back and says "We aren't taking anymore shooters". It was only 1:30pm. Now it was Christmas Eve and they were closing at 4 I think but there were empty lanes and it was only 1:30pm. The staff just looks like a bunch of kids who don't care about what you want, they just don't wNt to do anything that requires energy. If you need an amazing gun store or gun smith, go to Gables Sporting Goods in Douglasville. If you are looking for a range, go to Governors in Hiram or The Pit in Villa Rica (contact through Instagram). It's a shame cuz the Atlanta location is so nice and friendly. This place isn't worth your time.

Great spot to do some shooting! Staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. Smooth and easy…read moreprocess. Nice range area. Decent pricing and a nice variety of guns to rent for shooting if you don't have your own. They will have you go through the motions of loading and unloading the gun if it's your first time shooting there or if it's been over a year, which I think is great. Safety first! Great experience! Thank you!

I've been looking for an affordable, used, laptop for the purposes of writing. I went to Buck Creek…read morePawn, as I've shopped from them before for Guns and ammo, and saw that they had a single laptop left. The owner, or at least the person working the counter, must not have much knowledge of computers. That, or he is practicing extremely shady business practices and is overcharging with knowledge. The laptop was old, at least five years in age, and operated on Windows 7 (A now obsolete operating system. Windows no longer supports updates for the OS.) and I found that the charger was broken. It was meant to be a three pronged inlet, however the middle prong was missing and sent out a spark when plugged into the outlet. I turned the laptop on to test the machine and found it extremely slow and unresponsive. I brought up "Task Manager" and found that it took nearly three minutes for the diagnostic tool to actually respond. From there, I looked through the various functions and found few programs that should be interfering with the speed of the CPU. This tells me that the hardware, rather than the software, is the cause for the slow response speeds. With a desktop, that type of fix is easy and relatively inexpensive. A laptop is a bit more difficult to fix. Again, this is fine. They buy used P.C.'s and it did turn on and operate, if slow. However, the owner stated he would not sell the P.C. for less than 125.00 dollars. He stated that he had sold every laptop in the store for the same price and did not seem to understand the difference in hardware, software, and worth. A similar P.C., Brand new, can be bought at Walmart for 150.00 with a Windows 10 operating system, box, and charger. A used P.C., of similar specs, can be bought for 50 dollars online. The fact that he had bought this P.C. for less then 25.00 dollars shows a desire to make over 200% profit with absolutely no desire to negotiate because he believes that the current pandemic will allow him to sale the P.C. for whatever he says. This is the literal definition of Price Gauging. I would also be careful in buying weapons from this pawn shop. I bought a Glock 19 in 2017 from this company and recieved a call from them about a month later asking that I return the weapon. It had been stolen from a retired Georgia State Patrol officer. They did give me another, lower quality, weapon as a trade. I'm not certain they didn't rip me off, even after giving me a bit of cash to make-up for the price, after seeing how they handled the sell of an obsolete computer. Be wary of buying from them and do your research before you pay. There are other pawnshops in the area, remind them of that, and let the free market do its thing.

This is a good place to buy a variety of items. They turn over the inventory often. So make it one…read morea regular store to shop at. You never know what surprises they have..

The customer service was A1 from every point of contact…read more Kudos to Ross who I got on the phone to decide where I wanted to go for my range experience. Ross was thorough, pleasant, patient, informative and kind on the phone! When I arrived, Dave took care of me at the Range counter and he was SOOOO informative. He gave me so much great information and again was super patient with all of my questions. Mike did my 30 minute session and honestly, minus the arsenal on this mans waist, I just wanted to give him a big hug. What a kind soul who can probably shoot the peen off of an ant at 50 yards. #inreallife. So I wouldn't suggest the whole hug thing, but he IS my new best friend in my head. Not just because he told me what an amazing job I did, but because from his thorough teaching manner, to the exercises he instructed me through, and his obvious concern for my safety, I felt cared for. The facility is beautiful and the staff are well qualified and very welcoming. I will take my new best friend Mike's advice and be a once a week customer. I quadruple LOVED my visit from the intro video, to Dave showing me how to sign up for classes online, to my active range time....the process is easy, and the pricing is great for range time, targets and ammo. I didn't have time to look at the gun selections, but from what I did have chance to gander, it is impressive. I loved my experience and am grateful to everyone at the Governors Gun Club for treating me so well!

What an absolute clown show this place is. MOST of the lanes are inoperable, and have been for…read moremany, many months. There have been a couple of time when I had to wait so long for one of the working lanes, I just gave up and went home. Instead of repairing the computerized system that moves the target carrier, they just installed an electrical box with a light switch. LMAO You have to use the light switch to move the target carrier yourself. About halfway through shooting today I noticed gun smoke was building up, and not being ventilated like it normally is. I noticed the ventilation system on my side of the range was struggling, and almost nonfunctional. All I could taste was gun powder. I finished shooting and went to wash my hands. The guy who seems to run things walked through the hand-washing area. I told him about the ventilation problem. He just looked at me and said "We know. There's another one on the way." If you know the ventilation system for those lanes does NOT work properly. WHY are you allowing people to continue to use those lanes? On some lanes you can no longer run the target carrier out to 25 yards. Instead of repairing the system, they just stuck up a sign. "24 yards max". The place is in greater disrepair every time I go in. It's as if they could care less about people shooting at the Powder Springs location. I guess they got what they wanted when they made all of their political connections at the Kennesaw location. I hear Erick Erickson talking about that location on a regular basis. Dear God, please sell the Powder Springs location and allow someone who's interested in taking care of the place to take over.
