During the initial scheduling process, I was required to repeat my demographic information multiple times because the intake representative appeared to have difficulty collecting the information accurately. Unfortunately, the representative's attitude made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily frustrating. My larger concern involved gaining access to the Athena patient portal. As a new patient, timely access to the portal is essential for reviewing records, receiving updates, and communicating efficiently with the care team. When I called for assistance, two front desk staff members stated they could not help. The issue was escalated to a manager, but the manager did not speak with me directly and instead communicated through front desk staff. I was repeatedly instructed to contact the Athena help line, despite explaining that I could not access the portal in the first place. No alternative support options or IT contact information were provided. When I asked to escalate my concerns further, I was told there was no one above the manager available to speak with me. As a healthcare clinician myself, I understand the importance of patient portal access and effective front-office support. Patients should never feel like they are a burden when seeking assistance with basic aspects of their care. The quality of the clinical care is the reason I would consider returning. However, even excellent clinicians can be undermined by a poorly functioning front office. Additional training for intake staff and management would significantly improve the patient experience. Patients deserve to feel heard, supported, and assisted throughout every step of their care journey. I hope this feedback is used as an opportunity for improvement.

If they tell you the allergist will reach out to you to schedule an appointment, weeks will go by with no call. You'll have to call and schedule it yourself. If they tell you they'll request authorization from your insurance for a CT scan, you'll show up for the appointment, and the authorization was never submitted. If they request authorization for a surgery, it will be denied because they never scheduled you for a pre-op appointment. If they say they will file an appeal on your behalf, they will run out the clock (180 days) and never file the appeal, submit a new authorization request, and pretend the appeal never happened. When the authorization is finally approved, they'll schedule you for surgery and then call you the MORNING BEFORE to cancel it, due to the surgery center not accepting your insurance, despite being told that your insurance is accepted and getting a detailed confirmation of exactly how much your surgery will cost. I haven't had a single experience with this office that wasn't unprofessional and disappointing. They don't deserve to be in business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Do NOT waste your time and money with this unprofessional office! I cannot STAND doctors and…read moreoffices that have no regard for their patients, our time, and money. TWICE I was supposed to have balloon sinuplasty procedure with Lisa Perry-Gilkes and TWICE they messed up. I've been trying to have this procedure done before the year is over as I have reached my deductible and OPX with BCBS for this year so everything is free for me until 2022. My allergies have gotten worse causing me terrible sinus pressure and pain, chronic sinus infections, ear pain, etc. I had one of my sinuses done with a different office already. The first time I ended up canceling because I ended up in the hospital extremely sick. When I got out I tried scheduling again and the woman that was supposed to put me back on the schedule never did nor did anyone ever contact me about it. Come to find out she quit and that's why. I called requesting to speak with the manager (can't remember her name but I have spoken with her before) that is over the office about that issue. I could never get in contact with her which is a MAJOR issue with this office and alot of their negative reviews confirm this. You have to call MULTIPLE times to speak with management and they'll lie and tell you they'll call you back and never do. It's a game of phone tag with these unprofessional clowns. So I scheduled again to go in for another suspected sinus infection but again to have the balloon procedure. Drove all the way there in the rain (15 mins so not bad), waited an hour and a half, only for the rude front desk woman not tell me Perry was running late. I asked the woman multiple times what is the hold up but she wouldn't tell me or even give me an estimated time of how much longer. Everyone that came before and after me, including the woman that had been there 2hrs, were seen and left. I think Perry was deliberately making me wait. I walked out and I again called and attempted to speak with the manager about that but they wouldn't get her on the phone. A few weeks later I ended up speaking to Kacey Phillips who said she was the director of the surgery department/facility and you couldn't go higher than her. I told her what happened but that I wanted my gas money reimbursed for my time wasted. If a patient is running late they have no problems refusing to see you or will charge outrageous fees for late or missed appointments and even appointments not canceled "on time". When you call the annoying automated lady tells you to show up on time so doctors can spend enough time with you lol. They don't show you the same courtesy they demand of you. That morning "Dr" Perry made a woman wait over 2hrs to be seen and another patient was turned away for not having her insurance card and it was an allergy injection visit. The patient drove from Jackson but front desk chick didn't care. After that patient left I still wasn't called back and I got tired of waiting and walked out. Kacey, at the time was nice, explained one of the girls was no longer there, apologized, and asked me to give them another chance to make it right. Stupid me did and I went to that bogus nurse visit. They were supposed to call me back about medications for the procedure after I went to my pain doctor. They had Ashley call me to tell me Dr.Perry wasn't going to perform the procedure and that it's better if Dr.Livermore does it under general anesthesia. At first that's what I wanted but decided to just do it in the office and get it over with. FYI I've already had one sinus done and it wasn't bad. It's just weird hearing your bones crackling as they break them. Plus I have anxiety but you are given anxiety meds as part of their med combo they give you. Anyway I told Ashley no and I am NOT consenting to a surgery under general anesthesia and have to go through the whole process all over. Meeting with a new doctor and one that has bad reviews, having to have another nurse visit, do a hospital pre op, etc etc. It would just unnecessarily prolong it into 2022 and it wouldn't be free anymore. I called to try and speak with Kacey and she never returned my call wasn't surprised. I sent Kacey an email a week ago and she ignored that as well. Yesterday they had a 2nd woman in Dr.Livermore's office call me to schedule the surgery. I again told her no I am not wanting to go under general anesthesia and that if Dr.Perry doesn't want to do the procedure then she needs to have the overies to call me and tell me and stop wasting my time. The woman said she would find out what is going on and call me back. Not expecting a call back given their track record. I spoke to Livermore's surgery scheduler Latisha a week ago and told her the same thing. She said she would have Ashley call me but of course she never did. I am DONE with this place, their incompetence, and unprofessionalism. I'd advise others to run away and not do business with this awful establishment and Dr.Perry.

I was a patient of Dr. Fletcher for probably half a year or so back in 2022 or 2023 maybe. I was…read morereferred by my dentist to him. He performed a second sinus surgery he said I needed to have. He was not knowledgeable about what was going on with my sinuses, the sinus disease, and why I was having the issues I was having. It took me going to another wonderful ENT in Conyers to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. The surgery Fletcher performed which was done at the awful Wellstar and that was a mess on it's on. Anyway Fletcher did not take any samples from my sinuses to have them sent off, cultured, and get a proper diagnosis. In his words he didn't feel I needed that. I don't even know what he diagnosed me with to be honest. I honestly can't remember what he did, I know he shaved something down, supposedly cleaned my sinuses, but I only got relief for a month and then started back having issues. He wanted to perform another surgery but this time in his office. He'd have an anesthesiologist come in. That didn't sound right to me so I immediately looked for a different ENT. His bedside manners aren't the greatest and he seems so aloof, awkward, doesn't explain things well, doesn't make eye contact, etc etc. When I had questions about the third surgery he wanted to perform he stood up against the wall, looking up and down at the floor, while talking to me. That turned me off and was the nail in the coffin to find a different doctor. I don't know why some of these people become doctors with the terrible bedside manners they have. The new doctor I see is very kind, nice, takes the time to explain things and stays on top my case. I was diagnosed with allergic rhinitis and was told there is a particular fungus that is in Alabama and Georgia that I am allergic to and that is what is causing all of these issues. I was put on Montelukast, fluticasone, and Azelastine. I also take Allegra and Zyrtec. Under the new doctor I had to have surgery twice but was provided with better and long term relief. He thoroughly cleaned out my sinuses, took samples, and opened them up more. He also explained that these issues won't go away until I move out of Georgia which we are doing in a couple of months. The new doctor actually took samples from my sinuses and sent them off for culture. Something Fletcher refused to do. Staff was ok and the young woman that works the front desk named Zurry (probably not spelling her name right) is such a pleasure to speak with, is wonderful, and sweet. This is a black owned and operated office which means absolutely nothing and from my experience in Georgia I've gotten worse care by black doctors and their staff. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. I think he specializes more in cosmetic facial and sinus surgery because on the medical side he seemed very lazy and not knowledgeable when it came to my issues and barely did the bare minimum when he had to do surgeries.
