It's raining so we are waiting in the ship at the top of the walkway for the shuttle. My friend went to the bathroom while we were waiting. Well, the cab shows up in 3 minutes and I get a call. I tell them we still need a ride and that we'll come down as soon as my friend gets out of the bathroom. When he does, the shuttle is just leaving to go back down the walkway. I call the number back to say that we missed the shuttle this time, but will be on the next one. But, I only got a voicemail, not an actual person. It's still raining hard. So we wait for the next shuttle trip. We get on the shuttle and look down to make sure the cab is still waiting and it was. Well, when the shuttle gets to the bottom, the cab is gone. I called the dispatcher back and he said that the "driver had left for another fare. It will take 35 minutes to get another driver there." I asked why the driver couldn't have waited 30 seconds at least for the shuttle to get to the bottom. But, he didn't care and just said "Sorry, it's raining." Such poor customer service. I have now been waiting almost 35 minutes for a different taxi company to show up.

He also informed us that they work solely on tips. After some talk with both Anthony and the hotel staff we concluded $5.00 to $10.00 tip was about right for these short trips based on the number of people in your party, the distance and if they're waiting or returning for you. Seats: Although, this open eggshell on wheels only seats 5, including the driver. There was more than enough room (leg room too) for everyone. Unfortunately the lack of air conditioning makes it...not the best choice...if you're all dressed up and heading out. In that case call a cab or grab your car from the valet. Tours: Along with being a taxi Hop Corpus also gives tours of the area with a little bit of history tied in. However, that bit of information coupled with a our drive in the hot sun made think it could've used was cup holder and possibly basket/cooler on the back for water bottles and cool drinks. Of course who doesn't like dirt roads. So you wash your car once a week. It's called exercise. Some people don't get the concept of a speed limit. Normal maintenance that has to be done to the park to keep it up to code so the clients are dispirited. With all the open space you do get to live stock Cows, which comes with the smell of defecation. With my closing been going on 5 months and so far we haven't thought about moving as of yet.
