If I could leave 0 stars I would. Attended a 30 minute starter class and after they sit you down like it's a high pressure timeshare sales pitch. We were not asked if we wanted to proceed, but instead sat down and given two options for packages. When talking about scheduling we said we couldn't come back the very next day, you know because it's a Tuesday and we have jobs/other obligations. The instructor / sales man kept insisting we needed to schedule that time. it got very uncomfortable real quick. felt very pressured & left. We saw the table next to us getting the same sales pitch and were visibly uncomfortable. 0/10 would recommend. read more

My wife and I haven't really danced much since we were dancing up a storm over 40 years ago during the disco era. However, like many, we discussed on several occasions over the years how we would like to get back to those fun years when we were dancing a couple of times every week. Well, we finally decided to stop just talking about it and to do it. Fortunately, we found Atlantic Dance Studio. After just a few short weeks into it, we were already doing the basics steps of the Rumba, Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, and Push/Pull, and having fun dancing once again after a 40-year break. They have a very natural progressive way of teaching, and surprisingly in the following weeks we started getting into more complex moves. The group classes are also a lot of fun and the interaction with other students and instructors is a great approach to help the learning process. Atlantic ballroom offers a fun, friendly atmosphere, and a beautiful and comfortable large dance studio... private lessons are great with Ody, who is a very patient, fun, professional, and talented instructor... group classes are fun and informative... and Friday night social dance is a wonderful opportunity to practice what was learned during the week... and when you see instructor team perform dance routines, they are just incredibly talented. The owner, Sarika, is very friendly and cordial, keeps a close eye on the studio and the progress of students, and is an incredible national level pro dance performer. I have not danced since tiny tots ballet and tap, oh about 3 decades ago. So my friend recommended this place. It's fantastic. I have learned a variety of classical and Latin dances (waltz, foxtrot, tango, swing, quick step, salsa, rumba, cha-cha, the list goes on). The instructors break the dances down in a way that makes them easy to pick up and build upon. They also have social dance parties twice a month where you can hone your skills in a more fluid situation, and a variety of exhibition dances you can attend. There are classes for kids starting around 5 years old. Professional training too. Really everything you could want. They sell dresses and shoes, direct you to what you need and what is superfluous for your needs. Friendly, fun, and super cost-friendly. $60 a month gets group classes once a week (where we like to say we "share experience") and the social dance nights. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for something new and fun to do or you want to brush up on skills that you already have. Put your shoes on and dance your pants off! read more

This is hands down the best ballroom dance studio in the area. They have a huge wood sprung floor, bar area, lots of seating and table space that's not on the dance floor. I've enjoyed dancing at Atlantic Ballroom for a long time and it's a great dance studio to be a part of. read more
