(FYI in case you don't know: Peabody is JHU's music conservatory/school.) I attended my first concert at the Peabody Institute last weekend when we had some visitors in town. The concert we attended was a performance of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra. It was free, in the beautiful Miriam A Friedberg Concert Hall, and wonderful overall. It's a gorgeous venue and location for a classical music concert, and the Peabody musicians are so talented. The concert was wonderful. I'm planning on attending concerts in the future! What a wonderful place to hear classical music in the city! If you like/love classical music, want to support the Peabody students, or are in the area and want to try something new, check out their concerts and events page and take in a concert!
