Charging me for telephone bill pay when it is all their fault earns METROCAST two stars. TOO BAD because their services are very good. However, charging customer $7 dollars because their automated system does not know which account of mine to charge is just so shady. This is the absolute worst int service I've ever experienced. Unfortunately Breezeline is the only internet provider in my area. I have to reset my modem at least seven times a day and call them at least twice a day. This service is overpriced and completely does not work. My girl-friend is 79 years old and not very computer savvy ... When we watched TV, the TV constantly buffered (interuptions to down load data). I ran a speed test and noticed that Breezeline's down-load speed was constantly below 30MB, sometimes below 20MB, while she was paying $120 for 100MB down-load. I called and gave them a week to fix it. Breezeline did nothing; we signed up with Frontier fiber optic service for $29.90 for 500MB. When my girl friend tried to terminate the Breezeline service, the representative stated that they can only terminate the service, which is still in my girl-friend's late husband's name, if she would provide a death-certificate of her late husband. The rep stated that this would be Breezeline's policy. We will now mail them a letter informing them about our policy ... we will not pay somebody else's bills. I contacted Breezline this am because for weeks now I have been trying to watch Amazone Prime Video on my TV in the bedroom. When I turn it on suddenly I get numerous error messages in japanese, Spanish, German etc. I spent an inordinate amount of time (hours) talking to various customer service people who tried to walk me through fixing this myself with no success. At 76 years old my tech skills are limited. They then told me this was an Amazon Prime Video problem. I then spent over 4 hours with Amazon but everytime we would get to the last part of the puzzle the phone line would go dead and I had to start over. It became apparent to me that my lack of tech skills could be the problem. i then called Breezeline back and begged them to send a repairman out who could do this for me. They would not set up an appt. for me but insisted on walking my through the repair process again. I have begged and pleaded with breezeline's reps to simply send a repairman out but with no success. I am assuming my only way I can get this fixed is to cancel breezeline and hire another company. I really don't want to do that. Breezeline has been great until this event but I am at a loss as to how I can get this fixed. Amazon doesn't have repairmen and Breezeline won't help. If I could leave a 0 rating I would. All the bad things that we told were very true regarding how bad the service would be from Breezeline. The first technician was an hour late then he sat in his car for another hour waiting for another technician to help him. We have a new home and they drilled from the outside through the concrete into the house leaving several holes in the wall leaving them open to the outside elements. They left without checking to see if the service worked. He told us to give him a call and he would walk us through any issues we may have but when I call he never answered the phone or called back. I am very disappointed. We would like for our home to be repaired ASAP. read more

NON EXISTENT They appear to have just abandoned the system and will only "reach out" if you are late to pay your bill (usually mailed late to the customers!) Takes HOURS of waiting on the phone for "customer service" who are rude, inept or just hang up on you. They have caused damage to my personal equipment like TVs and routers due to not wiring the cable coming into my home to the proper National Electrical Code that REQUIRES a lightning arrester, and PROPER GROUNDING! They have failed to replace equipment that is owned by them and rented by me (the customer) thus incurring more loss of service. But they require FULL PAYMENT for services NOT PROVIDED due to THEIR not replacing things in a timely manner. I am considering looking into initiating a class-action suit against them. We have had poor to no service for the past two months with our Breezeline cable and internet. After many calls and about 8 service visits we now have no service for both that occurred two hours after the last visit. Another visit is scheduled tomorrow, and I can almost guarantee nothing will be resolved. We still await a contact from a supervisor. read more

They suck. There WiFi can't even run a phone with out messing everything else up in the house. The tvs are always going in and out and most times never turn on. If you wanna try and get the best out of it you need to have every device off of the WiFi to run it and you still barely get anything out of that. It's not worth it. Beware: I had service under Broadband for $63 dollars and in 5 years since they have changed to Breezeline it has doubled without me changing a thing. I went on their web page and they have 4 plans, when I called they said in your area we have 3 plans and the prices were extremely high, and it is because we have no other providers so they Jack the prices way up. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. 1 is really too generous. Scheduled for new service, appointment was 1130-230. Called at 2:15 and was told they're not late yet Waited until 2:31, called back and was told the technician is still on a job. Called again at 4. Waited on hold for 1hr 22 minutes to beyond by the supervisor the technician is still at the same job from earlier and we're "next." What does next consist of? No ETA, no control over the technician, no guarantees. These are all the things I was told. So basically, go somewhere else where they value your time and money. This place sucks read more

There are no outages in our area and our service went out 2 days ago (Aug 18th) and we were told we told they cannot get anyone to come to home until Sept 3rd. And that was after 4 1/2 hours on the phone waiting in cues, being hung up on and put back in a cue, etc. This happened multiple times. You would think a communication company would know how to handle communications!!! We work from home and have NO internet//phone/cable!!!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable. PORT ROYAL, VA - Almost impossible to leave a review anymore because the internet drops dozens of times a day (that's probably being generous on weekends, it's out more than it's on it seems). They've been burying fiber optic cables, but for now the service has gotten atrocious. IDK if they're unable to support the load on their system, or if they have faulty equipment, but if you do anything remotely important, or want to work from home, you're probably going to want to smash your screen/router/etc. out of frustration. This service is a bunch of bullshit!!!! I have been with Atlantic Broadband for five years and they have always been some shit! For one thing, the internet and telephone barely ever works. If you depend on internet for work or school you will either get fired or fail your classes!! The only thing that is halfway decent is the cable but on demand never works either. We pay so much every month for service that we are not getting. When you call customer service you are on hold for 1 to 2 hours before someone picks up. when you schedule a service call they send tech after tech after tech but they can never fix the problem but yet continue to bill you every month! we have metrocast wireless at my parents home in the Northern Neck of Virginia. It's a pretty remote area so I get that internet service would be spotty but this is ridiculous! It's only slightly better than dial-up. when it works, it works well, but it's a sunny day, no storms, no winds, and the internet keeps going on and off. There is nothing customer service can do that they haven't done before. This is one of the major reasons I'm hesitant to live in this area full time because I need good reliable internet to do my jobs. Every time I visit, my parents complain about the internet. read more
