And we called Windows World. The salesperson who came out was not on commission. He did not do a hard sell like the first person. He just talked about doors. We wanted a french door that would swing out. First bidder said he could do that. The WW sales person said that it was not possible because that's not how doors are made. He said they would do it if we signed a release accepting that we wanted the door installed backwards. The WW experience was pleasant and efficient. The quote was under $20K. Quite a bit under. It takes awhile to get the product so now we wait but, if you need doors and probably windows, don't forget these guys. I think they are honest and I hope they do a good job manufacturing and installing our doors.

The day of the installation they arrived on time and quickly installed the storm windows. Clean up was quick and complete. I'll tell you we immediately noticed how much snugger our bedroom was, even though today had winds in the 10 to 14 mph range. Received a quote cheaper than our 3 previous quotes and the customer service from Micah Cunningham was great. The only delay in our service was weather, which none of us could control. The roof was replaced in one day, with unforeseen costs being rotted wood under the shingles. These costs were communicated prior but because of the rising cost of wood, it still stung a little. The gutters were put on the following week. They did an amazing job and our end unit townhome had a real face lift. There was another unforeseen cost due to a slight miscommunication but Micah remedied this and adjusted the cost. Home improvements are always stressful but this local company has good customer service, reasonable quotes, and show great accountability.

My16x8 garage door with a Torquemaster plus tension/torsion spring broke on a Sunday night with icy…read moreand snowy weather. I had closed the door and shortly after hear a loud, awful sound. When I tried to open the door again, I quickly stopped the door because the motor wasn't lifting it (saving from burning the motor up). However, my cars were stuck in the house as the door without tension weighs too much to lift. I called AOD when they opened Monday morning, and despite several staff members having to be off due to the icy weather (understandable), the owner Gary, Sr. took my call around 8:30 Monday. Later that morning, Chris, who normally does installs, not repairs, arrived and had brought the correct parts. He may have been one of the few who could get on the road that day. He worked quickly, and efficiently. The Torquemaster systems can be very dangerous to work on unless you know what you are doing, Chris handled the repair with ease, adjusted my door settings, and had me up in running in relatively short time. Given the weather ( I was nervous I would be waiting for days), the circumstances of me being "stuck" and the professional work, I was very pleased with the price. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't unreasonable. After all, I use my garage door as my main entry, with kids, it goes up 10 times a day. I was treated with the upmost respect, both Gary, Sr. and Chris treated me as if I was their only customer- the way a family owned business should be. I recommend this company.
