Would never use this company if my landlord didn't require it. I was quoted $129 for three rooms by Atlantic Carpet Care. When technician Ben Skopp arrived, he asked if I had pets and mentioned a flea treatment for $105. It was never explained that this was an ADDITIONAL charge or that my total would suddenly become $289. I did not authorize that amount. After the cleaning, I contacted the company multiple times to dispute the charge and ask for a corrected invoice. Instead of addressing the issue directly, Office Manager Jenn Bartee repeatedly told me to "work it out" with my property manager -- even though I was the customer who scheduled and approved the service. I later learned Ben contacted my landlord directly and made inaccurate comments about there being an "odor" in one of the rooms. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I attempted to resolve this calmly and professionally through email and was ignored for days at a time while the company avoided answering the actual billing dispute. If you use this company, get every charge in writing before the appointment starts. read more

I contacted Atlantic Carpet Care when my cat started having accidents on my living room area rug. I decided to have that rug cleaned as well as two other 8 x 10 area rugs. Hunter came to my house to pick them up, and drop them off. When he came to drop them off, he placed them exactly where I requested, even moving and replacing the furniture. They looked and felt brand new! And the musty odors are gone! I'm adding this to my list of "things I should've done long ago!" Atlantic Carpet Care, like everywhere else, is dealing with some backlogs and other challenges due to COVID, but I was happy to wait the six weeks before getting my rugs back. Only one star because the owner is very polite and helpful. The guy that came to "clean" my carpets was very unprofessional. He did not clean the carpets correctly and they look like they were not even clean. Paid 200$ for my carpets to look exactly the same as before. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

This is a horrible company. I don't care if they have the BEST cleaning products in the world, their customer service is down right AWFUL! I received a groupon for this company, and upon calling to schedule the appointment, I was yelled at and criticized for the company I was using in the past. Not only did I feel insulted but the OWNER was bad mouthing other companies. I feel that is horrible business and not worth my time. He refused to accommodate me, was rude and immediately began raising his voice at me and told me to get a refund and hung the phone up. After calling back, to try and resolve the issue he refused to speak to me and told me that I was rude to HIM? The only thing I even got to say to him was that 'another company charged me less for getting my couch cleaned, so I was just going to use them for my couch and use Atlantic Carpet Care for my carpet'. He was just awful, completely rude and not accommodating at all...save your energy, money and time....and use someone else. Trust me, they are NOT worth it! read more

I rarely write reviews because we are easy going people with small expectations as customers. However, when we see a awful business that treats it's customers poorly, we feel the need to share. AVOID Atlantic carpet care if you want to be treated with respect. Awful customer service. We are renters and were forced to use Atlantic Carpet Care because they were one of the approved carpet cleaners and supposedly "the best." Well they cleaned the carpets fine, but if you're looking for a well run business which treats you with respect...AVOID! First they charged us for more space/rooms this year versus last. The owner claimed the technician measured wrong last time so therefore we were charged about $20 more. He claimed he sent his best guys this time who proceeded to walk on my white carpets with their dirty shoes and whose uniforms wreaked of smoke. Next when the technician arrived this time he asked if there were any stains I would like removed. I said no, that there were paint stains that they had tried last year to get rid of and were there before we moved in, so we didn't need any extra stain removal. Well as I found out on the bill later, they went ahead and charged us extra for stain removal without even asking if this was ok. It seems to me that typical business practice is to ask first then perform a service. My wife called the owner, David, who proceeded to lecture my wife about how she was wrong to question the bill at all. So much for complete satisfaction they claim on their website and advertising. He said while technically she was correct in saying we were the customers, his first duty is to the rental agency with whom he has a big contract. We wrote him the check and called him for the appointment. That makes us the customers. My wife felt like a 2nd class citizen who had no rights or respect. He disagreed that they should've asked first about the stain removal because he felt it was their right to do whatever was necessary to clean the carpets. He didn't believe my wife in saying that the technician had asked me if there were any stains to treat and I said no. He said he would have to check with the technician to check the story. The complete lack of respect and flexibility makes this company a very poorly run business. What happened to the customer is always right and treat the customer with respect? While our carpets were clean, we were appalled at the attitude that we received and recommend to anyone...AVOID. read more
