I am in love with this place and the staff. Always friendly, professional and with fast responses. I originally started out with a groupon and after it ended I've been a regular for a couple months now. The Dr. Eric is so kind, knowledgeable and professional. I had xrays and a full consultation of past or recent incidents, or troubles I've had before I got adjusted. He didn't want to adjust something he couldn't see and didn't know where the direct problem was or if there is more than one. As soon as my results came back we scheduled for a follow up, reviewing and going over my xrays and what the problems were and how long recovery may take. He also recommended magnesium citrate. I had no idea what it was but since I started taking the natural supplement my sleep and pain at night has eased. The business also offers chiropractic massage and prenatal massage which I thought was really awesome and helpful to have on site instead of hopping from place to place. When I was in high school, I was told by my personal doctor that I had scoliosis. They took x-rays and came to the conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to treat with surgery and they sent me on my way. Now that I'm in my twenties, I can feel that discomfort in my upper back and sort of just lived with it. Dr. Eric gave me the thorough explanation I needed regarding what was going on and what could be done to alleviate the discomfort I was feeling. We took x-rays, and he showed me the sites that were causing me problems, as well as showed me the anatomy of my spine using models! After that initial evaluation, I had my back adjusted along with electric stimulation therapy to calm the rhomboid muscles between my shoulder blades. I have nothing but great experiences with Dr. Eric and his staff, who were always so accommodating with my work schedule!! I would recommend this doctor to others. Scam! They over charge you, never send you a print out of your account charges when you ask! But will call you to offer free massages because you have "credit" on your account. I played Pro Paintball for many years and was always sliding and diving and one day on a dive I felt something weird. I didn't think much of it til further down the road it was kinda of a nuisance tbh, wasn't bad pain it was just irritation that would come and go. I highly recommend going to see Dr.Eric. I came into the office experiencing sharp pain and muscle spasms from a car accident. Dr. E took x-rays showed me exactly were the pain is coming from and started treatment. Treatment started three times a week with adjustments and heat therapy which Dr. E answers any questions you may have and provides supplements and vitamins. After the first two weeks the spasms stoped and I am able to sit or been with out sharp pains. The staff is friendly and the office is extremely clean. I was experiencing some neck pain and my primary care physician prescribed muscle relaxers that were not working. A friend referred me to Atlantic chiropractic. Dr. Eric identified the problem and has worked to get full movement back in my neck. I like that Dr. Eric takes a whole body approach and has suggested everything from increasing my water consumption to stretches to supplements in addition to the adjustments. There are two massage therapist in the office massage and I've gotten several massages from each of them and highly recommend either. I've only been going to ACR for a few months, but those months have already made an impact. Intermittent back spasms have stopped and my issues with both my sinuses and painful "crick in the neck" episodes have disappeared. I started out going 2 times a week for several months...now I see him for a correction maybe once or twice a month. I feel the tension is relieved immediately. He knows his stuff. I had alot of aches and pains all over from being pregnant and I couldn't get the right relief at my normal chiropractor and decided to hit the net for a chiropractor that specializes in helping pregnant women. After a great deal of research I found AC&R and decided that I was 8 months pregnant and in desperate need of relief. I made my appointment and was warmly greeted upon entering. I spoke with the Dr and immediately felt comfortable with his knowledge and understanding, especially in helping pregnant women. I had this one spot that was especially painful in the middle of my back that would have easily been able to be adjusted normally if not pregnant. The Dr did many adjustments on me that day but I was especially grateful for adjusting that painful spot in the middle of my back all while not coming coming near my pregnant belly. Dr Eric is amazing!! I just had my first appointment and I am so happy I chose to go to Atlantic chiropractic. Dr Eric took his time in explaining everything to me and seemed like he genuinely cared. I have been to many Doctors about my back and have never had things explained to me so detailed. He didn't treat me any different because I was using a Groupon (I have had that happen before) he didn't try to sell me on a whole bunch of extra things I didn't need. I was willing to pay for extra X-rays and he said he could use the ones I already had. He even made sure I had another appointment for tomorrow because my issue with my back is causing me so much pain he wants to help me get to the bottom of what is causing this pain. He even suggested filing with the VA because I'm a veteran and he didn't even have to give me that information. He doesn't have a problem with taking that extra step to explain things to make his patients feel comfortable.. I have been singing his praises to my husband since I got home. I've had a great experience with this business. My pelvis had shifted after giving birth to my son with additional lower back pain. Although I have been to Dr Santjer a few times. The place is clean. My father and I have both enjoyed Dr Santjer's skill and expertise to healing us both. But there are a few things one should know. Groupon purchases are for first time patients only! Noted. But if you the buyer who is an existing client and you don't read the fine print. You will be stuck with the Groupon if you don't read the fine print in regards to this. Also if you are an existing patient and you are being treated for continued treatment. Always ask the front desk clerk about your bill of services or that day of services. Also pay very close attention to your service's not covered by your insurance provider. Ask the front desk clerk what's not covered by your provider. If you don't you may be accumulating a very sizable payment for those services. That might upset and may overwhelm you without knowing. Good help is very hard to find. I spoke with Ariel the new front desk clerk. Lowered my rating here. Although Dr Santjer is world class. Ariel display of over talking me. Referencing to my fathers file, arrogance, and incompetence. Myself, my father, nor any other of my family members would ever seek chiropractic service at Atlantic Rehabilitaion Services. I would give zero stars if I could. Booked appt based on recommendation. It was scheduled for 515, I got there just before 5 and at 530, I left. I was told he "runs behind", he was in with another patient and there was yet another patient ahead of me. Ridiculous. After a full work day, the last thing I'm going to do is wait around when I have an appt. Much less for a new patient visit. There are plenty of other chiropractors in the area. read more

We started going to Dr. Eric 9 years ago. My son was 2 and had chronic ear infections. Our pediatrician kept prescribing antibiotic after antibiotic and finally referred us to an ENT who wanted to put tubes in my sons ears. Thankfully a friend of mine told me about Dr. Eric & how he helped clear up her daughters ear infections. We went to see him and after my sons first adjustment he slept through the night for the first time in months. I was visiting from Texas and somehow injured my back. I could not turn my neck, could not sleep, difficult to sit up, I was just miserable. I found Atlantic Chiropractic on Groupon.com. I called them immediately and they got me in as soon as they could. From the time I walked through the door I felt welcomed and at home. Everyone was so nice and genuine and very understanding. The first day was the consult. I was glad to pay for extra X-Rays, to find out if anything else was wrong. Dr. Eric explained everything to me so that I could understand, and he did not rush at all. He walked with me to the front counter to ask if they could fit me in the next day, so I can get some kind of relief. they did just that. The next day he went over my x-rays, and compared my x-rays from the past and explained to me exactly what was going on which coincided with the findings of my other reports from 2015. I had not explained anything to him and he told me what was wrong, right down to the same vertebra. I knew he was the one. After my first adjustment I was able to sleep better and each day it improved. I was only able to do 4 adjustments due to having to leave. I would most definitely, use him as a Chiropractor if was in the area. I had 4 adjustments and I went from 10 being the worst pain to a 0. He has magic hands, and his methods worked wonders. I really love this office. The front desk ladies are very kind, and try their best to get you scheduled in when you need to be seen. Dr. Eric is knowledgeable and friendly. I have been under the care of Dr. Santjer since February 2013. The results have been amazing. I was suffering from extreme muscle tension, neck pain, constant knots in my shoulder and back and suffering headaches as a result of all the tension. It wasn't until a ''doctor'' diagnosed me with ''arthritis'' that I started considering chiropractic care. I didn't believe the doctors diagnosis at all. Needless to say, later I found out that I didn't have arthritis at all. The ''doctor'' was merely doing what doctors do best, masking symptoms with drugs. I refused his prescription meds. I was always a bit fearful of chiropractors, due to ignorance on my part. However, two ladies at work would speak so highly of Dr. Santjer and the relief that they have experienced through his chiropractic care, that I thought I would give him a try. From the first time I stepped into the office I was treated with the greatest care. Starting with the front desk staff, they are an awesome group of ladies, very personable, genuinely caring and very accomodating.
